It was really glad to try this new Korean restaurant in town. Food is perfect. We tried galbijjim, ramen and fried garlic pork rib. It’s really good and reasonable price compare to other korean restaurants. Banchan (korean side dishes) is really tasty also Kimchi was best one I ever had. I’ll definitely come back!

Saikou Niku Premium Meat

Awesome experience at Saikou Niku. The owner (?) was very nice and knowledgeable and recommended the right cut of meats without trying to upsell you. The price is very reasonable for the quality. We bought a bit of everything for our at-home Korean bbq. Better meat than any restaurant and cheaper too.
Katsu Bar
9090 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
If you love Japanese style curry and katsu with a Vietnamese twist, this is the place to go. We are locals and are avid fans of Japanese style curry. This place does Japanese curry justice. Go for the katsu curry plate and you will not be disappointed, katsu is always crispy even when you pour curry on it. Our favorite is the katsu or Korean dumpling curry. Mushroom tempura is also to die for. Dishes are also optional with Vietnamese style pickled greens which are delicious. When you order, there is a self-serve kiosk in front where you order with card or contactless payment, if using cash, you will need to ask staff. Portions are large will fill you up pretty nice.
Shinobu Japanese BBQ
15202 Goldenwest St, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Meh experience. We did AYCE Gold on a Thursday night. Very expensive menu, especially considering the location.Meat was good, but not sure if it was great enough to justify the price. Outside skirt was to die for. Beef belly and prime short rib were quite delicious as well. Obviously you don't go to a bbq place for shrimp and duck, but both of those were strange enough to be on the menu and ended up tasting funny. Would not recommend the shrimp or duck at all.Hated the atmosphere of this restaurant. I understand the dark lighting is an attempt at an aesthetic ambience, but it's ridiculous when I can barely see the color of the meat on the grill. Not to mention, the fan was in the way, so it was a struggle to converse with people sitting on the other side of the table. Turn the lights on a Tiny bit, and you can still create a dark atmosphere while letting us see how cooked our meat is.Service was excellent, but we came on an early Thursday evening with very few people (just two other parties) in the restaurant. Considering we ran up to the 90min limit (and still had a bit of a stomach left), the time limit would be a significant concern if the restaurant is more crowded and service was not as quick.Another note on service: they have a lot of younger workers, and they are bustling with energy and positivity. We enjoyed when they took our meat orders; however, we certainly did not enjoy the older servers, who seemed grumpy to be there.Something strange at the end of our meal... We were told after the 90min timer ended that we could order dessert and have all-you-can-eat ice-cream. But then one server cut us off at two scoops and said they could only serve two rounds for each person. Questionable that another server had told us AYCE ice-cream. Also the supposed “2-round limit” was nowhere to be found on their menu. Place was not crowded, so not sure why they were rushing us to exit their restaurant. With all that said, we had a solid meal. Personally would not return, but it's worth a shot for anyone who loves bbq.
Wow Spaghetti
7852 Westminster Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Summary: outstanding service, delicious food, limited parking. Will come back.Service is above and beyond. Vincent took my order and answered all my questions about the menu thoroughly.I ordered the bolognese with meatballs and cheese, spicy chili garlic butter with wontons, and corn cheese. The spicy chili garlic butter is really spicy for me as I have low tolerance for spicy food. Lucky for me that I did not add more spiciness at step 3 -- thanks Vincent for the warning. The noodle is chewy, definitely not the Italian spaghetti type. The bolognese is a hit for my kids as they like to dip the toasted bread in the meat sauce while eating the noodle. Corn cheese is pretty much the typical Korean corn cheese.I read another comment saying that the portion is small. However, when I received the order, I was surprised that it was much more than I expected. I can split it into two meals or finish all at once with a full belly and having food coma (I would rather go with the former). The restaurant is bright and fill with light from all windows and doors. They have three tables outdoor and six indoor. If you have a large party, the only thing that would be issue is parking. They have limited parking on the side of the restaurant. Street parking is available on the other side of the restaurant, along the Pacific Ave and Westminster Blvd.Wow Spaghetti is worth a visit for pasta dishes with a Korean twist. Definitely will come back!
Da Vien Coffee
9731 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Preface this review with I was going to Yummy Bakery (across the street) for a Viet coffee but their (usual) line drove me away. Glad I ended up here since it was a good find.ITEMS ORDERED:Vietnamese CoffeeMatcha Foam CoffeeTASTE:Vietnamese Coffee is what I expect from the drink. Good dark roast coffee flavor that is not lost by too much sweetness. Id prefer it just a little stronger in the coffee flavor if I had to offer a critique. I very much appreciate the crushed ice they use. Always a win.Matcha Foam Coffee is literally matcha foam on top of Viet coffee. Ive had a few versions of this drink at other places & Id say this is the best version. The earthy matcha flavor is strong enough to still stay present with the quite strong coffee. If youre into both matcha & coffee you should definitely give this drink a try. Another win is the drink looks really nice, cuz #aestheticsSERVICE, LOCATION & PARKING:Service was very nice when ordering & one employee walked around to the tables asking if everything was ok while I was seated, enjoying my drink.Interior is a clean, spacious, modern and aesthetically pleasing. Good amount of space between tables & theres outside seating as well.Theres a larger parking lot in this busy shopping center (T & K Market) since theres so many businesses. When Im in the mood for a good Vietnamese coffee & Im in the area, Im definitely open to returning back here.
