Prak Kitchen Chinese Food

I dont know where to start.... the first few times I came by on a weekday and everything was beautiful, all the trays were full and everything looked fresh. The last couple of times I came here, very disappointed. There was only a handful of items out looking not so fresh and on the brink of being thrown out. My partner and I got different types of beef plates, both had a hint of a fish taste, Im not sure if its due to the oil used or quality of the meat. He said his fried rice was a bit stale, my chowmein was alright. If the quality was the same as the first time I came here I would definitely come back but its really disappointing getting sad food two times in a row, about a month apart.

About last week my gf and I were on our way to go bowling until we where approached by this Asian women trying to promote this restaurant across Bowlero. It was so humbling to see despite her broken English I can see her trying her hardest which I admire the most. I told her we will go after bowling unfortunately they were only open until 9 pm. So we went the next day. The food took long because it's freshly made it's not like your ordinary Asian restaurant where the food is already cooked and sitting on a heating tray. I order the Ginger chicken with green onions, Kung Pao Chicken and Veggies Spring rolls. everything was delicious including the Tai Tea Boba, if authenticity was a flavor that's how I would describe it. Be careful with the home made sriracha. I was warned by one of the cooks in restaurant it was spicy and it was! in a good way though. Overall, the food was flavorful, seasoned, chicken cooked perfectly, veggie rolls were crunchy, vegetables were juicy. On the other hand, the customer service is a 10/10. Each employee we spoke to seemed very genuine, caring and most importantly happy. I did appreciate them advising us to place and order on the phone ahead so we wouldn't wait so long. Honestly guys I had a wonderful experience. I'm coming again no only for the customer service but the food is fantastic. Shoutout the woman who was passing out the menu in parking lot. I know it can be depressing when people ignore you or shut you down before you can finish your sentence. Just know you were the reason why my gf and I showed up to your restaurant. Enchale Ganas!!!

Fontana Pho
9820 Sierra Ave. B, Fontana, CA 92335, United States
‘Been out the whole day with my kids and to end our day right and free from stress - around 630 pm., we decided to eat at this resto. No doubt that food is great—?But service wise and treatment from the staff - No comment but I'll elaborate our experience.Every time we go here - we experience the scenario below; however, I'm trying to observe more as I don't want to be unfair with my review but tonight is the night — I am so done coming to this place.Having two kids in tow is a bit challenge and upon entering a resto such as this-you expect staff with smiling faces and a welcome greeting.Welcome greeting none-☹️Smiling faces-yes to other costumers ? Super yes ?us? None ☹️We just sat and one staff came to ask for our order-as to my surprised, it was fast and I appreciate it; however, we were not given a chance to look and choose- well, we ended up ordering big bowl of soup and pieces of egg rolls. We are Asians and we don't eat a lot. After we ordered, I saw the disappointment on the face of the staff as we ordered only 2 from their pages of menu book. And, the man who took our ordered-never came back to our table - very unprofessional ?After a while, the egg rolls arrived and we were courteous to say “thank you” as I believe that if you treat people well, they will treat you well too.We said thank you a lot of times and yet, no good treatment - ☹️I got two kids - a ten year old and a toddler, we asked for fork - they gave one fork ☹️Soup was hot (of course) and to make my toddler eat it is by serving it in a small bowl so I asked for bowls - they gave one ☹️ and actually I already chose to ask from the son of the owner - I was thinking that he'll treat us right especially that I have kids. Yes? No, we waited for a long time and he just put it on the table without any signal. ? my daughter just decided to use one of the two napkins they're provided us as her plate. ?As I was serving food to my toddler, my daughter was trying to get noodles - she knew that if you're in a “noodle restaurant,” they offered scissors - none ? I was so disappointed already so I did not bother to ask anymore.I saw an old staff who would smile and laugh to customers and would not even look at us.Why?!?! Are we not welcome to enter the resto ?Why?!?! Because we don't order a lot. Remember guys, not all your customers can consume plates of foods and bowls of noodles. We only eat if we got no time to prepare as I have kids to take care of.This is not your issue - yes!!!! But, have a decency to respect the rights of kids. Have them eat comfortably by serving extra small plates or bowls - you don't serve them and if the parents ask for them, you don't like it. Whaaaat!!!!If we are not welcome - then let us know - we are so willing to leave your place. Be professional - approach me and tell me “you're not welcome here, please leave.” Don't let my kids feel your unprofessionalism-it's really obvious.I wanted to leave the place without paying it but I know better- I can't be rude in front of my kids.As I remember, there was one family who got very angry at this restaurant (I couldn't understand why) and even reported it to a agency- tonight I understand clearly-as clear as the crystal the reason behind why——Oh maybe this is why-we were with this family eating at this resto-but, do we deserve to be treated this way. Come on!!!!I hope this review serves as an eye opener to the owner, staff, and management.Treat your customers fairly. We were wearing decent clothes — not fancy but decent. And whatever we ordered for-we are responsible to pay for it.We don't order and pay much to please you guys and we will end up wasting the food— you know better!!!!!Oh well - in the middle of our dinner, I told my daughter we will bring our own bowls and stuff next time but then I realized-after a series of issues such as this - no! There are other restaurants out there who knows customer service very well.

Billy Js Restaurant

Ill start off by saying that I have never eaten here before and regardless of how the food is, I will support this restaurant and owner for deciding to stand up against tyranny and doing the right thing for their business and employees, if you get what Im trying to say without getting them in trouble. That being said... the food was really good as was the service. By looking at the place it looks like your standard dated Cafe or Diner so we werent expecting much. The food didnt match the decor. We had the Texas Cheese Fries and they were delicious! I ordered breakfast for dinner and had the chili verde omelet and it was incredible! The meat was cooked perfectly as was the omelet. The German fries were great. The biscuit and gravy was decent but I wasnt expecting the freshest biscuit at 6:00 at night so I was okay with that part of it. My girlfriend loved her Avocado chicken sandwich. The bread was fresh and the avocado was great. The best part of the meal was the waitress. I belive her name was Karin? She was running the place single handedly with the help of a busboy but she was nice, patient and very thoughtful. She brought refills before we asked, supplied us automatically with everything we needed for our meal, again without us needing to ask for anything. You can tell she was a professional waitress who knew how to help people! We dont live neccessarily close to this place, but we will definitely be going back!

Ono Hawaiian BBQ
17009 Valley Blvd, Fontana, CA 92335, United States
Long story short, we got food poisoned. And it was resolved today. We (my fianceé and myself) ate here 08/30/2023 at 5:35pm. Walked in and was not greeted, and there was a bad smell in the air, and the floors were filthy around this time. I thought well mabe its just an off day, because we heard so many good things about this place. We get our food, and I notice a bad smell. I smell the rice and it smells like a sweaty gym sock, so I dont eat it. I stary eating the chicken and after a while, it started tasting off. So I toss the rest of my food, my fianceé eats all of his food (2 rice balls and his chicken he got). I was feeling a bit queasy on the way home and my fianceé was feeling bloated and having some stomach pain. We get home around 6:30pm. My fianceé is still complaining of stomach pain and it is getting worse. He heads to the bathroom and I follow him, concerned. He gets severe cold sweats all of a sudden and he starts throwing up. Bits and pieces of the undigested food come up with it, he continues throwing up until his face turns red. His stomach got completely emptied and he is in so much pain and just wants to go to bed. So we go to bed, he wakes up at 12am that morning 08/31/2023 moaning in pain, he gets to the bathroom and starts throwing up blood, I had to take him to the ER. They never refunded our money or anything. And the worker up front is a liar, he first tells me my manager said this.. so I ask to speak directly to the manager, he then tells me actually, my manager is out right now. So we came back today, and the manager quickly resolved it and refunded our money.

ALDI
15080 Summit Ave, Fontana, CA 92336, United States
I frequent Aldi whenever Im in Germany twice a year and this new American Aldi gave me the nice German shopping experience Ive missed. Complete with European grocer practices-- you need to insert a quarter to use the shopping cart but youll get it back once you are done by reconnecting the cart with the other carts, you must bring your own shopping bags or must pay 15 cents to use one and will have to bag your groceries yourself on the counter near the registers. The prices are very low as they have their own brand names and they have German snacks and foods Ive missed! Schnitzel, Spätzle egg noodles, butter cake cookies and more.

Pho Ha Vietnamese Restaurant
9938 Sierra Ave., Fontana, CA 92335, United States
I love Vietnamese food and I am always on the lookout for a great place to eat. I did not expect to find great Vietnamese food in Fontana of all places. First time there and I walked in not expecting too much, however it was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. My fiancee and I say and looked over the menu. We had decided on two large bowl of Pho, egg rolls, and cucumber mint lemonades. Let me tell you, the size of the bowls of pho are huge. A large is good for 2-3 people. I order a large and eat my share, then I take some home and have a few more meals out of it. All of the food is great that I have tried. The soup comes out and has a rich meaty broth, rice noodles, and the brisket is the way to go. A plate with Thai basil, bean sprouts, likes, and jalapenos are provided. I load up my pho with that, red chilli paste, and it is delicious. The egg rolls are delicious too. Actually, everything is delicious. They also have boba teas, and other drinks too. Just saying, the mango boba smoothie/shake thing is amazing. Can someone put that in an IV drip? Please? Just go here, you will not regret it !!!!

The Thai T Exotic Thai Cuisine
11275 Sierra Ave. Ste 3D, Fontana, CA 92337, United States
I have travelled across much of the U.S., and there is nowhere better for Pad-Thai than this little local spot. It has a nice mellow taste that is almost sweet and that keeps you wanting to eat more. The noodles are tender but firm, and if you order it with the chicken, they pair well with the more understated poultry. The crab fried rice is also top-notch with nice chunks of crisped, shredded crab interspersed throughout. Just be careful about the heat. When you say hot, they do mean hot. One time, I ordered the rice at the hottest level, since I love spice. I got home and took a bite, and my mouth was instantly on fire. I would eat a tablespoon worth of the rice, and then have to eat about 4 or 5 mouthfuls of normal rice. It took me around 2 days to finish the meal.Their papaya salad has crisp lemony shreds with just the right amount of spice. Just make sure you dont have all the juice around the dish. Whenever I have the juice with all the left-over flavor, I tend to be left with a case of heat-sniffles.My only gripe is that I just wish they gave more hot sauce with their order. I always feel like I have to heckle them for more.

My NY Pizza Sports Pizzeria
15034 Foothill Blvd, Fontana, CA 92335, United States
Drove out with the wife and kids to find a NY style pizza since I seen one on TV and was craving to try one out. Its was good for what it is. Not 100% sure if this is authentic NY style since Im not familiar with NY style pizza. I probably could have rated it a 3 but I feel it was a fun enough experience for me and the kids. The pepperoni pizzas were a bit over cooked and my ladies Alfredo chicken was a bit doughy. The salad was good but the ceasar dressing tasted like it had thousand island mixed in with it but maybe that was authentic ceasar dressing I really dont know but I know I did eat it. My girl got a calzone but it came out by the time we were already done with out pizzas, and our appetizer garlic bread came out after our pizza too. The garlic bread was heavy oiled and the marinara sauce was fridge cold and a bit watery. I would say their prices are a bit overpriced but not by much. The server was a nice young man. But maybe some inexperience all things considered I still had fun eating a giant pizza slice and spending time with my kids and wife. Food is probably a 6/10. The environment 7/10. Menu would make me return. They have beer on tap I would like to come try with some buddies. But I would/ will definitely come back with my kids, since they enjoyed the pizzas. We came and sat down it was empty but there is large seating arrangements and plenty of TV with games on. They had basketball on one baseball highlight on another. So next time I might just catch a game with a beer and pizza with a couple of local friends. Its a bit on the adult level you wont find kids games and prizes here, but a buncha beers on tap and some pizza to wash them down.
