Noodle Q - Home Style Fresh Noodles and Sushi
Gongs Shopping Center, 2648 E Ashlan Ave, Fresno, CA 93726, United States
I had the Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup, the wonton noodle soup, and the beef roll. All were very good. I would recommend this place especially if you're a fan of the fresh noodles. The broth is everything you'd expect when it comes to being Sichuan. The noodles certainly are fresh and the beef in the noodle soup was super tender. They did no skimp on the amount of beef either. The wonton for the most part was tasty however the first couple pieces did not turn me on because they lacked depth. But the remaining pieces were very tasty. I understand that when making a large batch of wontons each piece may have different depth because when you stuff that meat mixture in a bowl there might be a morsels that don't get all the needed spices and seasoning. Lastly, the beef roll was something that I haven't had and it hard to find in the area. It was very tasty and satisfying however to meat to veggie ratio was a bit more overpowered by the veggie. I hoping the roll would look more like the ones that the restaurant advertised on their menu. I will be back to try other dishes. I would recommend to anyone who like Sichuan cuisine.
Brothers Ramen and Japanese Eatery

We have been hearing great things about this new noodle shop, and checked it out after Christmas shopping last night. Wow! My husband had the ramen, and I had a rice bowl. We ate every drop, it was so good. Rarely can I say that a $10 dinner was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and filled me up for hours. Great job!!

BAD food! Very unprofessional customer service, the two ladies there were very rude. We drove 30 mins to go there and were told that they couldn't make anything cause they were out of gas, so nothing was available except gol gappe and they took 30 mins to bring that out! really bad taste!Would never go back there and if someone is looking for good Indian food DO NOT go there! It was very DISSAPOINTING!!I would give this zero stars if that was an option.
Love and Thai

I think we found our new spot when we're craving noodles. This place was on my “food places to try out” list and I'm glad we finally did. I thought their prices were great and so was the food. I was truly excited to see pork belly on their menu as one of the proteins. Today, we tried the beef pad Thai, shrimp pad Thai, beef pad se-ew, and the pork belly pad se-ew. They were all delicious but the pork belly pad se-ew was my fav. We also really enjoyed their fried egg rolls and chicken satay. The egg rolls came with a light sweet and vinegar sauce, while the chicken satay is served with a peanut sauce. I'm looking forward to trying other dishes on our next visit.

I recently got take-out at this Indian restaurant, and it was an amazing experience! As someone who isnt too familiar with Indian cuisine, I was a bit hesitant when I found out that my usual go-to dish, chicken Tikka masala, wasnt on the menu. I had left another establishment because they didnt have this dish. The cashier here was incredibly helpful, and kind and quickly asked me about my food preferences and suggested some dishes to try. He even took the time to explain each dish and let me sample some desserts!I decided to get the chicken tandoori and a delicious cup of chai tea; both were flavorful and delicious! The chicken was well-seasoned and had just the right amount of spiciness. Oh, and let me tell you about the chai tea—it was soooo good! In fact, I will ask if they sell loose-leaf tea next time so I can have it at home.Im looking forward to my next visit so I can try some of the other dishes the cashier recommended, like the butter chicken or even the Indian burger! The customer service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and I felt truly welcomed and taken care of. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you!
Heirloom

**Summer 2022 Menu Review:**Ive eaten virtually everything on the menu. Its all pretty amazing.Heirloom is a fast casual sit down restaurant. Typically, you order at the counter and then they take you to a seat, but the restaurant is very popular and there is regularly lines out the door for dinner service. Wait times can be kind of long, but once you order your food all comes out, at once, in about 10-15 minutes, so your time at the restaurant shouldnt be too long. They have a bar that is first come first serve seating as well where the bartenders will take your order. The food here is all things youd pay double-to-triple the price for at a high end restaurant, and theyre the kind of entrees youd expect to get from a modern hip restaurant. Prices are extremely reasonable, entrees typically range between $13 to $20. Salads will be cheaper, but theyre typically full meal size for a regular eater. There a few more expensive options as well for like a rib-eye steak. They have a build your own plate option where you can pick a protein (for vary prices) and pair it with 1-2 cold or hot side options, which lets you build a custom entrée to your liking. The bar isnt a full bar, they have a list of cocktails you can order, as well as draft beer and wine options. The cocktails are seasonal options as well, so theyll change to reflect what is available that season. Theyre all some kind of seasonal fruit mixups of classic cocktails.Since everything is good, its a bit hard to go over specific recommendations. If you see something you typically like, order it and be pleasantly surpised. But it also can be fun to try something new and different. What Ive got included in my photos are, review for all these is Its great, I love it!:Drinks: Pineapple Mule, Keto Mojito, Blood Orange Cocktail, Fig Old Fashioned, Mango IPAAppetizers: Avocado Hummus, Mushroom Taquitos, Fig Flatbread, Tempura Shrimp Bites, Burrata Bruschetta, Eggplant Parmesan, Loom Bread and BrieSalads: Hipster Caesar Salad, Sesame Salmon Salad, Keto Salad, Wawona Peach SaladEntrees: Shrimp Scampi Pasta, Spinach Carbonara, Sweet Corn Ravioli, Roasted Chicken with Sweetcorn and Squash, Spicy Lamb Burger with French FriesCustom Plates: Boneless Fried Chicken with Market Greens and Rigatoni with Meat Sauce, Ancho Crusted Tri-tip with Sweet Corn and Sweet Potato Tzatziki, Hamburger Steak with Broccoli Salad and Market Greens
Tower Tea
1020 E McKinley Ave, Fresno, CA 93728, United States
Nice atmosphere for students. Food didnt take too long and the customer service was great. Price range is affordable for college students. Convenient especially because its across the street. Tiny place if you want to dine in but there are also tables outside. I ordered the springs rolls, chicken teriyaki, and Thai tea. The menu is simple with different options to choose from chicken, beef, tofu, shrimp. My eyes was hungrier than my stomach so I was trying hard not to pick everything on the menu lol. I decided to order a simple bowl and appetizer. Will try more when I come by again since Im a student at FCC. Very clean and neat place. Super cute and nice decor. The kitchen is open so you can see them cooking your meal and blending your teas. When I tried the spring rolls, OMG, its the best spring rolls from a restaurant that I ever had! Theyre generous with the meat, not too much noodle, adequate amount of veggies. A lot of places usually have too much noodle and veggies, you cant even taste any flavor. They even added a rolled up fried eggroll wrap for crunchiness! Highly recommended! The sauce was delicious as Well! Thai tea was just like how I like it. I enjoyed it so much, I forgot about my teriyaki chicken! I also love the reusable and sturdy container they have to go. Good to reuse and food wont be leaking all over the place. Time for the teriyaki chicken... I love how unique the sauce is... it wasnt too powering with sweetness or saltiness. The taste was just right. Doesnt taste like store bought. Very original! Chicken, veggies, and rice were cooked just right. All I can say is this place is great and i can only praise good things about them. Loved it! Give it a try if youre around! Its affordable for students and delicious!
Wok & Grill

I live nearby and this is my favorite small restaurant to go to even though this restaurant is not a classy restaurant but budget wise, healthwise the food here is very excellent! I always order their beef korean bbq with rice and with fresh cooked crunchy broccoli in it and also the salmon with rice and broccoli! The chicken noodle soup also has broccoli and other veggies in it! They all taste very good! The couples here are very fast; hardworking, very friendly and are always busy but they manage to serve all their customers! I would say whoever cook the food here is very talented for cooking delicious food and very fast! The prices here are affordable too and serve you enough food! Thank you very much! Buying take out food here is worth it! If you dont want to wait in line for a take out order just call ahead... That's what I always do!
Tioga-Sequoia Beer Garden
745 Fulton St, Fresno, CA 93721, United States
Were from Northern California and discovering and enjoying local beer is one of our favorite activities. It is not often that we find ourselves in Fresno, but last weekend, there we were. Having been introduced to Tioga-Sequoias Half Dome a wonderful, unfiltered California Wheat Ale, by a friend, we wanted to try their other offerings. The brewery is downtown Fresno, and offers some of the finest brews Ive tasted. Unlike most small brewers, Tioga Sequoia has a large number of beers to offer. Just to mention a few...Tamarack is a nice amber lager, 99 Golden Ale was my pick along with their Half Dome. Kathy couldnt get past the Cucumber Pilsner. Cucumber Pilsner? Yes, I tried it and like it too, its crisp and lite and begs to be drank in the heat of the day. Now if you think Cucumber is special...Try their Piece of Cake Stout! You bet ya, Cake Stout, with its hint of chocolate its just what we needed for a upcoming birthday celebration. It was a Wow experience...we were very impressed with the fine folks and friendly reception that we were provided at Tioga-Sequoia Brewing. Oh Yea, the Beer is Great...we loaded up on the four beers I mentioned and headed back to Dixon...smiling all the way.

I've been ordering here for 5 years since I first moved to Fresno. The old place burned down and they move to new location that so far away from me but I'm still kept coming back. Tonight I wanted to enjoy Lao food with my family but Got disappointed big time. I wanted 4 packs of chicken sticky rice and The server Will went to the chicken shelves, selecting which pack to give me. I didn't understand why. When I got to my family we realized that the chicken had been cooked and warmed 3 times instead of the fresh one that cook 1 time. They were dried, tasteless. I spend $58 for bad food. Felt Like you eating cardboard paper. It was at 5 pm this was the horrible experience. The reason I keep coming back was the quality of the food. They didn't only bumped up the price but also selling low grade quality food to make big profits. As a consumer we should boycott this scam or we will soon eating scrap from restaurant like this.
