Cyclo Noodles
4754 Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90804, United States
Staff were friendly ...ordered several items ..none were Pho noodle (I never eat Pho not cooked by my mom)...since this place is mostly Cambodian, I wanted to try Cambodian food first ...pretty happy ..food good...price decent...I was pretty happy since everything was pretty good ..only thing that bothered me was the greasy lid on the condiment containers...still Ill come again...ok.came back a few more times since 2 years ago..staff still very friendly. I had an issue with my order and they corrected without any bother. Broth is a lot better. Although I think its a lot less than b4. Their spring rolls is a lot better than the sandwich shop next door (dipping sauce and actually roll both better). Came on tues. Very busy but the staff were fast. All in all. Glad this place is here in LB!So been back again..At 7:30 pm on a Friday ..Place is packed .. line out the door ..I had ordered to go over the fone ..Came in thought I would just pay and go ..But no ..I had to also wait in line to pay. Now I am not sure why management did not think to open another register for pickups especially on a busy night and when there were staff standing around with nothing to do?? Still room for improvement since the place is getting popular. Had ordered Pho a few times since last ...But still its only ok. But then I cant help it ..I have my moms pho to compare to.

Combine a Hipster feel with a Vietnamese menu and this place is what you would get! This is not your standard Vietnamese place youd go to in SGV (San Gabriel Valley)... This is a hipster version where the wait staff are anything but Vietnamese. And thats perfectly fine! As long as the food is good and the staff is cool, I dont care who owns it.FOOD:My friend ordered the standard beef pho and I got the standard vermicelli pork and shrimp. It came in all fancy. I wasnt used to this kind of service for Vietnamese food but it was nice. The food was actually pretty good, it doesnt have the same spices as the SGV viet places but it was a good. My friends Pho was alright. He said it was kinda salty. But I didnt order it, so meh.SERVICE:Great! They were fast in ordering, getting food, and the bill. They even joked about my hilarious shirt about wine.AMBIANCE:TrendyPARKING:The worst. Street or paid. Good luck.Overall, not bad. Hipster vietnamese was pretty good

Koh Ruessei (Bamboo Island) Noodles Restaurant
816 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90813, United States
Food was excellent and the service is warm and kind and yes they may take a little longer, but this is due to the dishes being prepared fresh to order. This is a rare experience nowadays. Prices are right for the freshness and quality of food. I do want to mention Da (I believe the owners sister who gave me a ride back to my work (St. mary hospital) after finding out I had walked there. I really appreciated her kindness and will pass along my experience to my co-workers and will soon be ordering food from this place again.Satisfied customer.

We Love Pho II

I absolutely love, love, loooooove this family friendly jewel. Starting with the food first ?, there is an abundance of everything even if its a plate order for one person. The broth is clean, the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the flavors do NOT stop with mmmmmm?. Your meal experience, will result in you leaving with a happy and full belly. Ive even seen some family that brought children, with excitement for the food here and kids can be picky. The service is quick, communication is clear, and the restaurant team is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The staff, all work really hard together, to keep their customers consistently happy. They go above and beyond here, to make sure your experience is a full and comfortably wholesome one. The atmosphere is unforgettably clean like their pho broth?, there is more than enough space to keep to yourself or enjoy your company in your own bubble together with your meals. They also have outside seating, for those who prefer fresh air to themselves. I would NOT sleep on this place, if I were you. Plenty of parking, and walking distance to public transportation for those who are not personally mobile. I highly recommend this place, to anyone looking for tasty and clean pho options.

The Cajun Crab
3253 E South St j101, Long Beach, CA 90805, United States
Went on 08/26 my wife and i, we have been here many times. Really great food and perfect seasonings. However today was a REALLY BAD experience. We order King crab legs, and shrimp. They took well over 30min with the order. I was looking for the waitress to flag her down after waiting patiently. When i seen her going to another table and grabbing 2 bags of food and running back to the kitchen with the owner. After 2min. She is coming back to our table with our food. As the waitress pulled out our food from the container she was bringing it in. I asked her if that was the same food she had gotten from the other table she got a bit nervous and she the said no. I then replied i seen you and the owner grabbing it from the other table. She then replies that it was not. She got more nervous. Not only was not as hot as usual but there was crab meat missing.(empty shell). Then she proceeds to say i will go talk to the boss. I said ok. Then i was a bit upset, so then i got up and decided to ask the other table what had happened if they had gotten the wrong food and they said yes. I told them what just happen and they coud not believe. And said who does that!??. So then i went for my wife and went to the front desk and talked to the owner. And she lied and said that she was just being informed of the situation. When I clearly seen her, and the waitress picking up my food the from other table. She offered to make a fresh. I said you could have done that the 1st time when the other customer touched my food before giving it to me. However lying about just finding out was a big NO-NO! For me. I told her i wanted my money back i didnt even want to hear her bs anymore. Be extra careful here....?

This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when Im on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now Im completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously Im not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. Also, parking lot is small and shared, so I avoid coming during peak lunch hours, usually after 1 to pick up my food, and Ive had no issues.

Im so glad this place is down the street!! Im also so glad that we have a much more reliable place because there instead of foundation sandwich shop that was only open for 3 hrs a day ?

Shlap Muan Chicken Wings
2150 E South St #105, Long Beach, CA 90805, United States
Probably one of best wings Ive had compared to my brothers wings done at his home, but then again both sides are Cambodian including me ? but loved how the wings are fairly huge and not those dinky ones from other competitors.Flavors are definitely on point and not super overwhelming but just right! The Cambodian Dirt is serious fire! The Spicy Cambodian Dirt is just an extra umpf of deliciousness. I just love how the wings are able to maintain the crunch and still have their flavors maintain. Also tried their Spicy Elephant and that also was amazing with that slightly spicy peanut combo flavor. One last thing, also tried their garlic noodles and that worked as their pallette cleanser as youre eating the wings. I mainly got that for my kid but there was just so much of it that I know he wont finish it haha. The service is great and friendly vibes. Nothing more less than par. Met Hawk the owner, hes pretty cool beans and coincidentally knows my friends husband. Prices for everything overall is actually pretty good and fair for the amount of food given!Parking: free ample in a shared shopping area.Great place overall! Ill definitely be back to try more of their menu items!

If your shopping at Target or Trader Joes stop by and give them a try. The staff is warm and welcoming. Youll leavehappy from the inside out.Just had the onion rings for the first time. Simply put the best I’ve had!! The aoli and homemade ketchup is a complement.

Pickle Banh Mi Co- Long Beach
1171 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90813, United States
Update: We keep coming back ❤️ We've gotten the beef soup several times and it always hits just right. Today I was feeling under the weather and decided to try the chicken curry with a baguette. It was perfectly spiced and comforting, and it felt like something a mom or grandma would bring you when you're sick. It actually cheered me up so much. Thanks PickleWe did dine in and ordered two banh mi (lemongrass beef with egg added, grilled pork/bbq pork), pork belly spring rolls, Thai milk tea and Vietnamese coffee.Service:Our drinks were up immediately, sandwiches were ready in less than five minutes and the spring rolls came just a few minutes later so we barely waited at all.Sandwiches:The banh mi were incredible. The bread was super fresh, no dry or stale bites anywhere. It perfectly absorbed the sauces from the meat, which was so flavorful and warm like it just came out of the pan. The veggies and herbs were cold and crisp. I liked how generous they were with the pickled veg and big sprigs of cilantro. The quality of the meat seemed good, a little fatty but not too much (and that can be a taste preference).Rolls:The pork belly spring rolls were amazing. So glad my friend recommended we try these. One order is three big rolls and a huge side of peanut sauce - you could probably get the rolls as a meal if you wanted. The pork belly was amazing, tender and melty with a crunchy sear on top. They have a few pork belly dishes here that I want to come back and try now. The ratio of pork, noodles, veggies and herbs was just right, and the peanut sauce was a great texture for dipping without being too thick. Probably the best spring rolls I've ever had.Overall:We got two sandwiches, three big spring rolls, two drinks, and added a 20% tip for under $50. We even had enough food to bring leftovers home. The food was phenomenal, and my only complaint for the entire experience was that the Thai tea could've been a little stronger, but that's no big deal.FYI, a guy sitting next to us had the Vietnamese beef stew and said it was his third time coming back for it. He told us it reminded him of his best friend's mom's cooking when he was growing up, except even better. So we'll be back for that too. :)
