Savory Pho
19348 Rinaldi St, Porter Ranch, CA 91326, United States
I stopped by here with my sister family last night after my nephew basketball practice. It was a great choice because the weather was cold and the place was nearby. There are tons of parking here so you wont have any issues because its in a Amazon Fresh plaza. When we walked in, we were seated right away and given the menu. I got the Beef bun me, my nephew got the chicken pho and my sister got their bun bo hue soup. The pho and soup came out quick, my bun mi was the last dish to come out. I really enjoyed my beef bun mi, the bread was so soft and thr beef was delicious. I wouldve hope they added more carrots and vegetables but it was fine. My nephew and sister loved their dish since they come here every Friday night. The customer service we received was amazing, they constantly checked up on us and asked how was the food. They also have a all gender restroom here so no more male or female separate bathroom.

Whole Foods Market

This review is strictly for the Thanksgiving Catering Order. I placed an order for about 6 sides, 2 soups and 1 pie. My pick-up was 11/23 between 2pm-3pm. I arrived at 2:40pm and spent 10 minutes in line waiting to check in. WF has a new system where once you check, an employee will take your order to the back for it to be filled. You provide your cellphone number which youll receive a text letting you know youre check in with a link to let you know where you are in the virtual queue. Reception at this WF isnt the greatest, even with Verizon so it made it difficult to check to see where I was in the queue. Others around me had the same issue. We even attempted to connect the WF wifi to no avail. I waited 1 hour and 25 minutes to get my order. Unfortunately, I never received a text saying my order was ready while in the store. After about an hour or so one of the employees walked around asking how long have we been waiting. Anyone that had been waiting over an hour he took our order papers, went to the back and came back and said our group was next. We were a group of about 5 or 6. Here are some of the issues I/we observed while standing around waiting. 1) too many staff at the table doing nothing, looking confused because it was completely unorganized 2)not enough staff in the back to help pull and assemble order 3) too many orders were sent to one table when there were two tables to fill orders 4) many orders that were being pulled the customers werent even around and we witnessed these orders sitting out for over 30mins.If WF cannot fix this failed virtual system then please go back to the old effective method. I check in and go stand in the queue and get my order filled when I get to the front of the line. Ive only had to wait 30mins max the last few years with that method. That is reasonable. Whats not reasonable is having me and others waiting 1-2 hours, after checking in to get an order when we had a designated time frame.
Guss BBQ
20179 Rinaldi St Suite 150, Porter Ranch, CA 91326, United States
This was our first time dining at Gus's and not only was the food absolutely scrumptious, but the customer service was superb and reminiscent of that southern charm you hear about. I can't emphasize enough how kind and attentive every single wait staff was, and there were multiple people servicing our table throughout our entire dining experience. We felt so welcomed to be there! Now, about the food—if I could give this place 10 stars, it still wouldn't be enough! ? EVERYTHING was delicious! We started with spinach dip w/ fresh chips and salsa and an order of the onion strings, and the freshness was evident in every single bite. You can tell that they make the chips in house, which were so flaky and crunchy, you can enjoy them without dipping them in a anything at all. The onion strings were so well seasoned and didn't leave that oily residue you often see when food is cooked without allowing the oil to get hot enough first. They were sooo yummy! ☺️ we also wanted to try their grits (I know—super random…lol), which had a creamed corn flavor. Since I'm not a fan of that flavor, I didn't favor this dish however, I'm certain others would enjoy it. My husband and son had the Gus's burger with fries and proclaimed it to be one of the best burgers they've had in a while. My daughter and I had the chicken and waffles. The waffles were so light and fluffy that we didn't feel guilt for devouring every morsel of it! Lol! The chicken though??? INCREDIBLE! I'm hard to please when it comes to restaurant fried chicken but this chicken was sooooo well seasoned and moist all the way through and cooked to perfection. It's very difficult to find restaurant fried chicken breasts that are cooked thoroughly while maintaining the crispy skin and incredibly moist meat, but this restaurant nailed it! The chicken and waffles are served with a side of spicy watermelon, which is an added treat! The watermelon was so juicy and delicious, and the spice added a very unique twist to an old favorite. Overall, this place was slammin and my very picky family can't wait to go back to discover more from their menu! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jasmine Thai Cuisine
19707 Rinaldi St, Porter Ranch, CA 91326, United States
Ate here for the first time today and it exceeded my expectations! When you first enter Jasmine Thai you are greeted by a beautiful fountain wall which, with its beautiful bronze inlay, really sets the tone for your dining experience. This is a lovely restaurant with beautiful decor, really an upscale ambiance with very reasonable prices. From the walls to the table linens, Jasmine Thai sets the tone for a high quality dining experience with food that is as good as the atmosphere. I had the Yellow Curry with chicken and shrimp, while my wife had the honey, pepper and garlic with chicken and shrimp. What I really liked about Jasmine Thai was that the dishes were named/labeled by their spices and you just chose the meats. For example, my order on the menu just said Yellow Curry and at the bottom of the description of what spices were used was a list of meats for the dish... in this case, I went with chicken and shrimp as noted aboveThe shrimp were nice and plump in both mine and my wifes dishes and the curry was spiced just right. Now, Ill qualify this statement with the fact that Ive never been to Thailand but curry of all kinds is my favorite dish so Ive eaten a lot of Thai curry and this is some of the best coconut milk based Thai curry Ive eaten. The sweet coconut milk in this curry was well balanced by the pepper flakes and other spices which produced a pleasing warmth. We also had an appetizer of chicken dumplings. They were delicious as well!Well be going back at night because this place looks like it will be delightful if dimly lit.
Silverlake Ramen
20065 Rinaldi St Unit 160, Porter Ranch, CA 91326, United States
The latest addition of the Silverlake Ramen chain is conveniently located next to the AMC theatre in The Vineyards at Porter Ranch shopping center. Even though they’ve only recently opened the service was decent and our food arrived in shorter order. The classic tonkotsu ramen with a splash of black garlic oil was rich without being overbearing and the noodle had good bite. The broth for the tsukemen however was a bit on the thin side and not really able to stick too well to the noodles. Still, it was a pleasant meal all around.
