The entire staff are all young and ifThere is no issues they are kind but I get messed my food up and when I called once I got home And realized I called immediately to inform them and that I'd be going back to get What I originally ordered she was fine with that. I got a missed call while Driving and once I gotThere the young lady stated I tried calling you I Said yes I was driving. She then said I repeated your order twice I said yes an I Corrected you and said no whatever I ordered she was snippy so I told her why do you have an attitude she said did didn't not i themTold her this was the third timeThey had messed up my order an im a paying customer it not like I'm asking for free food I brought all the food back as I left with it. She then made a face as ifThat was a lie a stated so did you want to waitBecause your In a rush I said yes why would I not want my food didn't you say you had to go to work. Terrible service. When I walked in before we even had that conversation she had in my food to the cooks and said don't be mad at me. It's not my fault so they were talking about me in front of me. And I already got upset for that and then the way she spoke to me as if I was in the wrong. Then once she gave me my food, she told me that my service was no longer will be serving me there. Once I had walked away from the cash register, she called her Manager and told her whatever story she told her I didn't asked. When was the manager going to contact me she said oh I don't know maybe I can have her call you in an hour but initially at the register I told her I wanted to speak to her manager and they said they could take my info down and have the manager called me, but when she got off the phone with her all she told me as they will no longer accept my serve me. Completely uncalled for no communication with any type of management.

Its a drag having to go down the hill to get my Asian ingredients all the time, but this cool little spot next to the Food4less pretty much got what the bigger Asian stores have too and saves me time and fuel. Its a family store. Its awesome, Mama and her children are running it together and makes the store comfortable, cozy, and almost like home feel to it. For anybody looking for asian ingredients, some Soy Bean Milk, Shrimp chips, Red Rooster Sauce (Siracha), Thai Basil, Thai Chili Peppers ?, and Especially Sticky rice or your regular Jasmine white rice.....etc....

Tokyo Sushi
14741 7th St, Victorville, CA 92392, United States
My mind was scrambled eggs.Dusty from the road less traveled and a little worn for wear.I need to clean my boots.A sign.Tokyo, like the city,Glowing in the dusk of polluted desert skies along a busy street 2 hours from nowhere.Dining alone I walked to the bar, may I was in order.“Ichiban, tall.”The chef, Kazu, careful not to be seen in his quick study of customers, cleaning the skin from a salmon filet, sharp is his knife, asks if I'm ready.I order off the menu, otoro and uni sushi. “If you have it.”He does. It's glorious.I ask for a plate of sashimi, his choice, “I like everything from tamago to saba” indicating my adventurous side despite my American heritage.Again he obliges.Textures, flavors, chile, wasabi, playing with my senses so delightful.Im floating now in the ether, buying a beer for the chef which he opens to a cheers, the universal language on a plate, a shared emotion, his love for craft apparent.I almost forgot my jacket by the time I cleared my plate.I never the question the price of the experience, as it is priceless. And this man, in this place, at this time in my life is worth every single penny.2 thumbs up, a cheers and an applause.Thank you chef.Thank you.“In a little hilltop village,They gambled for my clothes,I bargained for salvation,And she gave me a lethal dose,I offered up my innocence,I got repaid with scorn,Come on she said will give ya,Shelter from the storm.” - Bob Dylan

Young Dim Sum
12209 Hesperia Rd F, Victorville, CA 92395, United States
Update :Finally got round to trying the stir fried beef with rice sticks. Its a passable version of the dish in sgv, Ive had better and I had worse. Given the low low price its a stonking best buy. Xlb soup dumplings was the same as last time, which scored points for consistency, and its the reason why my friend was addicted and insisted to go there. Also the wonton soup improved: the soup has a deeper flavor and it came together better. Id upgrade it from average to above average. Both could stand comparison to some of the specialist joints in sgv, so save the drive downhill for cravings.Im surprised theres dim sum (small snack like dishes) in Victorville, and I wish them every success as this is one measure if our town is boring or not. All dim sum at a jaw droppingly cheap $4,50.I would split the food I tried into three groups: 1) really good and firmly recommended - hakow (shrimp dumplings ), siumai (pork dumplings ), spareribs and chicken paws;2) recommended with slight reservation : charsiu (roast pork ) bun [dough too soft, may need more kneading or less time steaming, filling was great], xlb Shanghai soup dumplings [seasoning slightly bland, but it has flowing juice so nothing wrong with execution ], egg fried rice [slightly enthusiastic on the oil but flavor was good]3) tasted different from dim sum of the same name as those in sgv, recommended to try at the minimal cost of one go-cup coffee, you may like them - wonton soup, beef balls, chives shrimp cake, and dai bao. For example beef balls resemble more Thai style beef balls with tendons, or dai bao was a giant chicken bun and other ingredients thats traditional with dai bao, but in itself theres nothing wrong with that as long as the taste is okay. Except dont go down to sgv and yell at people for infringement of trades descriptions act of 1963. Everyone can defend themselves by saying its how their grandma cook that.Stir fried beef with rice sticks are sold out at 3pm, so its a hot item. Will return to rectify this omission with update. Never say the high desert dont know a good thing when they see one

Samurai Sushi
14464 7th St, Victorville, CA 92395, United States
Had date night with my wife a few nights ago after finishing a Costco run and headed over. We ordered a few rolls, Yellow Tail belly sushi, Garlic Edamame, and they threw in some tempura shishito peppers with a cucumber salad compliments of the chef. The yellow tail belly was delicious, nice thick slices of fatty yellow tail. We ordered the Garlic Albacore, Sexy Night and Spicy Tataki Rolls. The garlic albacore roll was a little dry, but it is one of their low price rolls, so nothing fancy about it, and still flavorful. The spicy tataki roll was my favorite, loaded with fish and tons of flavor. Sweet, spicy, tangy. My wife preferred the Sexy Night with the spicy tuna and little bit of crunch from the tempura flakes. We sat at the sushi bar which is always fun especially hearing the chefs friendly banter and joke with each other. You can tell they enjoy making sushi and it shows in the quality of sushi they serve.

Korean B.B.Q
14950 Bear Valley Rd, Victorville, CA 92395, United States
Best Korean food I have had in California. The kimchi dishes are excellent, just as if you were eating in a shop in Seoul. We had the family menu A and B which gave you just about everything to sample. We also added two orders of dumplings aka Gun mandu, a little salty for me but still delightful. Of course you cant completely enjoy the meal without Soju ? the strawberry is good but the peach is better.Waiter and staff/owner were wonderful. Place was clean and so were the bathrooms. They have a nice little selection of noodles and snacks.to buy.Definitely a recommend and we will be regulars.

Pho Saigon Le
12353 Mariposa Rd F12, Victorville, CA 92395, United States
Food was delicious, but the service and people that work there were unbelievably rude.My husband and I ordered 4 Pho bowls and made sure to ask for 2 to be small, as our sons are 7. We were not asked about drinks, the guy just grunted water and then sped off. We received our appetizer and food in a very timely manner, but the bowls for our sons were clearly not smalls. We did not bring this to anyones attention, because we would just take leftovers home, but when we asked for to-go containers a different guy literally rolled his eyes at us, shook his head and shoved the containers at me. We were nothing but respectful, didnt ask for any substitutions and always said thank you to the guys that came to the table (when they actually came to the table). When my husband went to pay they showed him the receipt, did not hand to him, and then took it back. My husband said there was and additional 10+ dollar charge on our receipt and asked what it was, but all the guy said was that the total was the total and wouldnt hear anything else about it. We never got to see the receipt again, as they wouldnt give it to us, so we can only guess that the 10+ extra was an instant gratuity (lucky for them as they most definitely were not getting a tip!)Again, food was good, but we will never be coming back!

Well Being Tofu House
15024 Bear Valley Rd, Victorville, CA 92395, United States
I will be honest. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned about trying this place out. However, my wife and I wanted some Korean cuisine so we thought that we would experience the location for ourselves.Well Being Tofu House is snuggled into the corner of a predominantly intersection of different business which offer grocery, furniture, cellphones, fast food, and whatever you can imagine within a plaza in the high desert -I mention this because parking, while not a problem, will be interesting.I digress, when we arrive, the place was quiet and had the look of Korean style restaurants I have frequented in the past during my travels overseas to Korea. I laugh now when I think of a comment someone made of the hostess's attitude. While her delivery and inquiry about or meal was straight and direct, there could be some other variables influencing her approach. However, I found her manageable and even personable as the meal progressed. The meal was not bad and the portions were comparable to the price - I got full and could not eat it all! There was so much! You will get your money worth if you are a reasonable consumer who do not frequent all-you-can- eat establishments. The one hang-up for me was the white rice I was served. Just did not taste like I am accustomed to. My wife did not seem to notice, so it may just be me.In all, it was a pleasant experience and I will have to explore with my wife if we will make a return visit. Hope you enjoy! ?

Pacific Crab House
12229 Hesperia Rd STE N, Victorville, CA 92395, United States
My wife and I were craving crab ? so we decided to check this place out. Upon arriving for dinner, we were greeted by the staff and sat down. Right away we were helped by Paul and a waitress. We ordered our food and enjoyed the Notre Dame football game on TV. We received our food shortly after and couldn't wait to dive in. We ordered sausage, peeled ? shrimp, and crab ? to with the red potatoes ? and corn ? on the cob. My wife also ordered some ? wings and fries ? . Everything was so delicious ?, the only issue I had was that the crab was over cooked. We tried breaking the shells to get the crab meat but we had to dig out each one. We also had to ask for shell crackers and metal forks because they bring you plastic forks when you sit down. Doesn't make sense to give you plastic forks with crab. Also they should have the small crab forks made especially for digging out the crab meat when the shells don't break properly. Other than that the experience, service and food were outstanding! Hopefully they read this and make some of these changes.. I gave them 5 Stars ⭐️ and would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, nice ambience, and service!

Pho Kobe
15208 Bear Valley Rd, Victorville, CA 92395, United States
One star simply because I like the food, however, we waited ONE HOUR AND 40 MINUTES FOR OUR FOOD! I went in Saturday night and ate dinner with my friend, so I deiced to go in the following night with my family (Sunday night). It was busy I understand that (Im not a monster!), but we waited 40 minutes before my grandmother got up to let them know we want our food as soon as possible. We were originally supposed to eat there by the way. Five minutes or so passed before the waitress came and asked for our receipt, she didnt need to say it but she obviously LOST our order! We had to wait even longer o that we may gt our food. It got to the point that I got up and told the cashier that I wanted to change my order to take out. One hour later and I got up to ask for my refills and thats when the waitress came back with our food to go. She tried running away to the safety of the kitchen but I called her attention asking for my refills. She tries to run off again. I say I want the seedy sriracha. She tries to run off again (without apologizing!) and thats when I realized she is not going to apologize without me bringing up how long we stayed there. So I brought it up and all she said was Yeaa sorry about that. I was to mad I didnt want to appear aggressive, thats why I chose to leave. The only reason I stayed was to see how long they are actually going to make us wait for our food. That was the worst service Ive ever had in my entire life! I wish I got that waitresses name just so I could make sure she gets a warning or something. They did even give us extra food or anything and every place Ive been to that messed up my order would give me something in return, even another Pho place in San Diego. Not to mention how filthy the floors were and how I almost slipped 5 times! It really sucks because I like the food, and my family has eaten there for years. My mom goes in the lunch rush hour and they have never made her wait more than 20 minutes. Its really unfortunate this had to happen, because they lost a very loyal customer.
