As a Shanghainese who came to eat at this restaurant owned by a Shanghainese owner, I can say that the food tastes really good. A taste of Shanghai ?

Little Pan is my SURPRISE gift for my Fathers Day!!!  Thank you,  my 美夢美Mo !Stone cooked tasty pebble crispy grass carp. Taste grade = A+This dish is FANTASTIC!  I have not yet given any dish for the HIGHEST grade for a LONG LONG LONG TIME !!!!!  Maybe more than 7 years?! Anyway,  this dish is TOTALLY blow off my mind !!!!!  Please watch my video for the presentation and come try it for the taste.Assorted pan fried pork bun.  Taste grade = A-This restaurant is FAMOUS for this so we order it.  Moreover,  it is very SMART of them to have this assorted dish so we can try 3 different flavors: original, curry pork and shrimp and leek pork. The skin is AWESOME!!!!! This is the BEST skin ever !!  The bottom part is crispy and the top part is fluffy.original taste grade = Bcurry pork taste grade = B+and shrimp and leek pork taste grade = BFor me, the BEST pan fried bun STILL belongs to Kang Kang Shau May in the Rowland Heights (well, that was BEFORE Covid 19 Pandemic 5 years ago, HOPE it is STILL good)Beef pancake.   Taste grade BIt is just standard.  However, the sauce is TOO much, the pancake is not warm, and it is NOT cut all the way through.   PLEASE IMPROVE on it.Service is attentive and friendly. Background music is the popular English songs you hear on the radio. It offers free Wi-Fi as well.It has unlimited refill for the lemon ice tea.Lastly,  it offers a SURPRISE drawing box when you are paying your bill.  You can get a free meal or other discounts,  if you are lucky. In conclusion,  we will be back for sure and I will invite my friends and family to try MORE dishes.Thank God for this restaurant.Thank my 美夢美Mo for this food adventure.

Inexpensive, but delicious Chinese fast food. Especially at the Shanghai cuisine section of the food court. You must try among cuisines from other parts of China, the Shanghai Sheng Jian Bao, which are pork stuffed fry dumplings, and the Shanghai big wonton soup, and the Chow Niangow, the delicious stir-fried rice cake, Shanghai style.Other sections are great food too, but my first choice is always the Shanghai restaurant. Five stars!

Golden China Restaurant

The food quality was changed too much than year ago. Downgraded. Maybe the gradually dwindled customer plus the shorter business hour, caused they barely making money ? The food taste was soso, tasted like Tea-Rens,but less meat inside. They use Vegetables and Tofu as major materials in every dish, even they name the dishes as Beef/Pork, you barely find meat staffs. Also the boss acknowledged and approved that. The quality of the dishes is far from before, and the taste is almost the same as tearen, probably the same seasoning bag. The price is also close to that of a tea restaurant, but the main ingredients in the dishes are much less. Basically fill it up with vegetables. Maybe due to the drop in customer flow, the restaurant closed early and needed to reduce the amount of dishes to maintain costs. Not recommended. Not recommended.
