Pho & Chinese Food
e 90744, 445 E Anaheim St, Wilmington, CA 90744, United States
I've go to this restaurant at least once a month. Everything on the menu is good. My favorite is the brisket Pho, pork egg rolls, shrimp rice wraps, chowmein and the hot jasmine tea. The hot tea is loose leaf, served in a lil tea pot. So you may pour yourself as you go. They will give you a to go cup for what's left as well. All the condiments are on the tables already included the chop sticks and straws. They have fountain drinks and drinks in the refrigerator for you to choose. My favorite is the jarrito guava or the parrot guava. They also have glass bottles YooHoo and snacks like chips and chocolate bars at the front. The place is good for kids. My daughter enjoys the quiet ambience and the seating fits your party comfortably. The owner Steve and his wife are amazing nice people. The parking is ample as well. My favorite restaurant overall especially for taking my toddler.

New spot! But I believe its a really beautiful addition to the area. I tried the chipotle torta recommended by a friend. It was delicious! Flavorful and juicy! Not your traditional torta because it seems like a more healthier version. Not salty or fatty. So if you are a person watching your waistline and trying to keep your arteries unclogged then this is the spot. They have coffee, smoothies etc. I had a Mexican jimaica. Ill have to go back to try their coffee. I did see that they brew Farmer Brothers coffee so dont expect a Starbucks lol They do have an outdoor patio area to dine in and its so cute. Not the best area because of the homeless and mental homeless in the surrounding streets. But if youre parked inside the parking lot youre fine.

Great clean and well run spot in Wilmington! Delicious and freshly made authentic salvadoran food. The quesadilla, sweet bread, served nice and warm made in house is a must. We had the mojarra ? frita and chicharrones entomatados served with nice refried red bean, rice, and freshly hand made tortillas. Family restaurant with spotless facilities. Will be back!!
Marina Cafe
720 Peninsula Rd #202, Wilmington, CA 90744, United States
What an absolutely lovely hidden gem! You would never know it was there but worth the adventure to get there. It is run by a lovely lady named Sherri (sp?) and she has surrounded the establishment with staff that care about their customers and think about food outside the box in a delicious and unexpected way. Ask about the soup specials on the weekends, get it no matter what and you will understand why. We have always enjoyed their food - chicken green pozole, chicken fried steak, the hot mess (this good - trust me - get anything with gravy - even the Southerners rave about the gravy), huevos rancheros, menudo, belgian waffle, etc. We make it a point to have breakfast there at least every fortnight. We enjoy the food, the staff and being right next to a marina!
Chowder Barge
611 N Henry Ford Ave, Wilmington, CA 90744, United States
What an awesome find! Absolutely the best clam chowder I have ever had. My husband and I were selling our boat. So I met the guys down at Lemans Marina in Wilmington. This is where the new owner would be keeping the boat and I was meeting them to drive them back to Alamitos for their vehicles. Not real easy to find but a diamond in the rough would be accurate to say. I had my little dog with me but they didnt mind at all providing a table overlooking the marina and a bowl of water for my little one. Did I mention the incredibly delicious smell that brought my attention to this place? OMG! It is located on the docks in the marina. You will need to walk down the gangway to get to it. Just follow your nose. I had a bowl of clam chowder and a captains size draft beer. It was huge and in a frosted mug that kept it ice cold until I polished it off along with the chowder. I couldnt wait to tell my husband and the new owner of our boat how great the chowder was. We ended up going back to the Chowder Barge when they returned so they could try it as well. They also ordered some of the onion rings (gotta try these too guys....yum!). I ordered another captain size draft beer which I shared with my husband. It was unanimous that the chowder was amazing. FYI, my husband drove us back to Alamitos as I drank most of the second draft as well and they really are huge.Great food, exceptional service and an overall perfect experience on a day that was bitter sweet. Im gonna miss our boat but may just view it from a distance when I return to the Chowder Barge for their yummy clam chowder.
Charlies Sub Sandwich
1058 N Avalon Blvd, Wilmington, CA 90744, United States
Take out food only! Best kept sandwich secret in Wilmington! Im reluctant to post this review because I dont want longer lines than they already are! Subs, the Charlies Special, Pastrami, and fresh made Tuna or Chicken salad are all on my list of faves! Potato and Mac salad sides or fresh made soups round it out. A staple for the Port community for years, and not what you would expect to find inside an Arco station. Quality food and great service and plenty to choose from for sides or snacks, I always recommend it to friends and family, and now my gift to you. Enjoy!!
Maya Mexican Restaurant

OMG! My Comadre and I were there on Friday, May 2 2014, for Breakfast. First of all, it was very Hot inside! Ugh! My Comadre ordered the Chile Verde Plate because she heard that peeps were raving about the it! Their Chili Verde is s Joke! It looked more like Pea Soup was underneath the eggs because there was only one and a half cubes of meat on the plate! If you wanted more meat, then it costs extra! I ordered the Nopales and egg Plate! It only comes with Beans on the side. If youd like Papad or Rice, then that would cost extra! The Beans or Potatoes Had No Flavor what so ever! No salt, cheese or bacon drippings, manteca flavor what so ever! The Salsa also sucked! Pardon my language. People were coming in and out. I have no idea why because their food is very sub-standard and not Authentic! I Would rate this place a F for FLOPPED!!! The Waitress wad also rude. I adked for a glass of Water and she only brought one glass! The Overall Experience Was Very Dissatisfying, and that is putting it nicely! This place is A Joke! What happenef to the Old Mayas that was on Anaheim Street? Now that was a nice restaurant! This place must have new Owners and Cooks with the same name. *I Wish I would if took a Picture of the Chile Verde Plate So You Could See it For Yourselves and See The Green Soup... Dont Waste Your Time or Money Coming to This Place!
Eat At Rudys

I was pleasantly surprised with the food and quality here. The restaurant is modeled from the 70s but the food is not out dated! Dont let the location fool you because the food here is amazing. I was skeptical and decided to venture out on the appetizer and play it safe with the entree so I ordered a cup of the clam chowder and a chz burger for the entree and I was blown away especially by the soup! I regret ordering the burger as I had an opportunity to eat something outside the box but the burger did not disappoint at all! All fresh ingredients and I badly want to come back and try something that I cant easily cook at home. High respect to the cook/chef! I only ate 2 things here but I can confidently say that EVERYTHING here is good! Cant wait for round 2 to get my phat-on!
Nenos Ristorante Italiano & Norooz Persian Grill
910 W Pacific Coast Hwy, Wilmington, CA 90744, United States
The food was horrible, we ordered two lasagnas, the sauce looked like it was from a supermarket jar with very poor quality meat and little cheese, I also ordered a fish and French fries for my son and they were the worst fries ever, you could tell everything the grease and sloppiness of that cuisine just by trying a fried potato that arrived super soft and cold, we also ordered salad and guscamole and they looked old and rusty, I do not recommend this place at all
Lucky Chinese Fast Food

I would give it a 4.7 if I could only cause the beef from the beef&brocolli wasnt all that great it wasnt bad but it was a bit to hard n chewy on a few cuts.(if they can up there meat cuts.. perfect) Other than that food tasted great. The chow main and spicy sesame chicken was on point it looks like they try when they make the food. Not like other spots where the food just feels rushed. The lady cashier is very nice. And I liked the little shop it was small but organized and clean.
