Royal Thai Orchid Restaurant
1315 N Tustin St B, Orange, CA 92867, United States
On January 22nd 2022 my fiance and I came here for dinner. We were the only customers there to dine in.A woman sat us, and gave us each a menu. She took notice of his service dog (wearing her official collar and service dog tags) as soon as she saw her, she said I dont think dogs are allowed. We informed her that Tika is his trained service dog and that ADA regulations allow for service dogs to be in all California restaurants with their disabled person or trainer. While we looked over the menu there was quite a bit of rather loud conversation going on between the employees. When the woman came back (We thought she was there to take our order) she informed us that no dogs are allowed in the restaurant.A man who didnt identify himself, came from behind her and told us No dogs whatsoever are allowed in the restaurant We explained to him that she is his trained service dog and that it is illegal to refuse service .. He said that his establishment was a private business and that they would not serve us. We were told to leave, We informed him that we will be filing a complaint against his establishment based on ADA regulations.Penal code section 365.5PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT DISCRIMINATES AGAINST PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES OR THEIR SERVICE ANIMALS.

I had been craving Thai for a very long time and had no one to go with until recently. After spending the day together, running a few errands, and having our original plans fall through, we decided to check Yelp to see what was around and this place came up. Yay!This is a fairly new place to the area but it looked decent and there was hardly anyone inside so we were seated quickly, given menus and the waiter brought over some water given the scorcher outside. We immediately decided we wanted the Thai iced tea and wanted to take advantage of the lunch special with the eggrolls, salad, and a curry of your choice. The drunken noodles sadly arent on the lunch special but I did get the chicken curry and was pleasantly surprised by how spicy it was. I love that they dont skimp on the spices or Americanize anything - what you see is what you get.For dessert, we split an order of the mango sticky rice with roasted pine nuts. So refreshing, delicious and wonderful. This is a seasonal dessert so get it while you can!

Sutha Thai Kitchen

If anyone knows me, they know how much I love Thai food. And if you really know me, you know that the pad see ew is the only thing that hits home for me every time.I wanted to try this restaurant out because it was the closest one near my home that actually looked decent. (We tried Thai spice and that was a huge miss.) I ordered the ever so popular pad see ew with beef along with the Thai fried rice with beef.Pad see ew - definitely full of flavor but a bit too overcooked on the pan. Tastes a little burnt but not to the point where I hate itThai fried rice - definitely delicious but an overwhelming amount of rice in comparison to the meat and vegetable ratio.Overall, I did enjoy it and even though it's a bit of a hole in the wall the food is delicious and the customer service is great. Seriously, I ask them for extra tomatoes on the fried rice and they pack it on like no other! The only reason why I docked one star was because for some reason they mixed up my order once and made my fried rice with lots of mint. The mint was so overpowering that I couldn't even taste anything else in the dish which was a huge turn off.Other than that, this is definitely worth trying out. The prices are fair and the taste is definitely there!

Pho Asian Grill
2110 N Tustin Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
I am an enthusiast, I take ?pho seriously and believe it to be a kind of spiritual experience when its done right. Pho Asian Grill formerly Pho America, is probably my favorite for the city of Orange they are definitely worthy. If you want some Round Steak or Brisket, or Pho Ga, they deliver and with a great broth Personally I go Pho Tai every time. i eat meat rarely but its enjoyable chilled or room temperature on the side like carpaccio, and allows you to inspect freshness. a bonus here for rare and medium rare steak eaters is by eating raw and dropping every other piece into the bowl slowly so guarantees it never gets tough and overcooked or well done...because thats repulsive and disrespectful to worthy meat.Ive never been disappointed here. Good Thai Iced Teas, the mung bean desert is a great touch at the end. Other dishes are excellent here like the buttered rice with garlic diced filet mignon.Price is fair, service is outstanding, very friendly, notable as its exceedingly rare in vietnamese joints. My first pho experience was here, I awoke that night and many since craving it. Ive returned the favor by breaking in many first timers here. Nobody has ever been dissatisfied.Easy parking, convenient location, if you work around chapman its perfect. Ive held many lunch meetings here, groups of 5-6 ppl.Its a great casual or budget date spot too. The booth size is really comfortable for 3 or 4, and the whole place is very clean. small enough to be intimate, but lots of open space, never stifling, totally chill. Plus theres a cool fish tank, and interesting wall murals. love it!

I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. It made me love Malaysian food. The prices are decent and they have a good discount during lunch. The dessert drink was also great. I recommend this place especially if you like coconut curry and southeast Asian cuisine

Anjappar Chettinad Indian Restaurant
13882 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780, United States
When in OC and craving for Chettinad food, then Anjappar is the place to head to without a second thought. Until last year, the only Anjappar in the vicinity was about an hours drive away in Artesia, so visiting the place occurred once-in-a-blue-moon. But ever since they opened a branch in nearby Tustin, our visits to the nearest Anjappar have become way more frequent - be it to dine in or to pickup some spicy grub! The ambience is lively and the interior decor is very pretty, especially the mural of a peacock. There are quite a few tables that are decently spread out, but you might have to wait for a while to get seated if you show up during their peak hours. That said, their service is prompt and the staff are quite cheerful and friendly.Though its hard to go wrong with the food selection here, there are quite a few options to choose from and its easy to get lost in the menu. When visiting with friends during lunch hours, we usually order their Virundhu thaali (translates to feast) which has a plethora of food items that are more than enough for two people with a good apetite! Recently we went for dinner and sought help in deciding which a la carte items to order. Nithya kindly recommended the Egg Curry to go with the Idiyappam combo and Appam combo, and had us sold on the Vavval Varuval (Pomfret Fish Fry), and each of these items was delish! We ordered the Mutton Biryani with Seeraga Samba Rice and Nattukkoli Masala (Country Chicken Curry) to go, and enjoyed the food over the next couple of days (amazing how already tasty food becomes yummier and spicier after a day or two!). What better way to top off a hearty and spicy meal than the Desi way of having a Sweet Paan (an assortment of ingredients wrapped together in a Betel leaf)! Burp!Never have I walked away from Anjappar feeling disappointed in any way. I sure hope they keep up the great work!
