Sawasdee Thai Cuisine

Wife and I have gone to this restaurant every valentines day. Tonight was a great date night. At the door it does say masks required. Although I am lead to believe that its an older sign.. just not changed . I still respected it regardless that we are fully vaccinated. As you walk into the door you simply can ring the bell to let staff know your waiting. We waited all but maybe a minute before being seated. Staff was friendly and greeted us kindly. We sat in a booth. Restaurant was clean and you can tell they definitely upkeep the place.Dishes ranging from 5.00 to 20.00 most are served for a portion of 2 people.. its a lot of food .. but I also like to take some home. With that being said you can easily rack up a larger dinner bill.Wife and I ordered teas. She ordered the Thai tea (large) No refill on the specialty drinks but on the normal tea and soda yes.I just ordered regular unsweetened tea.We started are meal with some appetizers the Triangle Crisps and the Freash rolls (shrimp) you wont be disappointed by the Freash rolls great peanut sauce and basil sauce. This is the largest rolls I have encountered. Really good . Refreshing.Tom yum Shrimp followed along with Combination fried rice . I added pineapple do delicious with it . We also ordered the Pork Pad Thai.Restaurant for the most part is very quiet and cozy you definitely will have an intimate setting. Nice place to take your date or tour spouse.
Jasmine Thai Restaurant
1145 S Victoria Ave, Ventura, CA 93003, United States
Im reposting my review because its absolutely astounding how quickly the service has dropped. I had to return to the restaurant FOUR seperate times because they couldnt handle a not spicy yellow curry with beef with no tomato. I had to call them twelve times not even a second after placing my order to remind them not to make it spicy because the lady didnt repeat not spicy and hung up after reading it back to me incorrectly. They didnt answer those 12 times so I had to show up. I waited inside with not so much as a wave with 3 other people and called while inside the store after 10 mins of being ignored. They left the phone off the line. They had to remake it because by the time they got to me in person it had been 20 mins and my food was already finished. When I got home it was still spicy and had no potatos so I had to go back and tell them it was spicy and missing potatosThey remade it and when I got back home THIS time it was watered down and full of raw potatos. And I dont mean just mildly cooked I mean these potatos were raw.Go back and repeat the process and I finally gave up and requested a refund when they added chicken instead of beef even after she wrote down my order AGAIN.Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere elsem unless your comfortable with raw food and incorrect orders. If thats the case this is the place for you.

Studio City Plaza
12046 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604, United States
Great strip mall with Trader Joes as the main attraction. TJs grew when the neighboring store closed. Theres a bagel shop which unfortunately closes at 2 pm so I always miss it, and they usually run out of bagels 1 pm anyhow. GNC, dry cleaner, cigar shop, a few other places Ive never been in but look good. The Plaza also has a popular diner on Ventura Blvd by the crosswalk to the Shell Station which is wedged between Ventura Blvd and Ventura Place, and just east of the diner is a (ugh!) McDonalds, USPS is almost immediately behind the mall on Laurel Canyon, and on Sundays theres a very good Farmers Market across Ventura Blvd on Ventura Place sheet Big 5 is. But be careful parking. S.C. Plaza parking will get all over you if you park in their lot and go to the Farmers Market, and I dont blame them, do dont do it. If you dont plan on shopping in the Plaza, dont park there. Theres plenty of places nearby to park and walk a few blocks.
