Myungdong Restaurant Tofu B.B.Q.

Good tofu soup in Rancho Cucamonga. Service has always been adequate. Been coming to this restaurant for several years now. One of my usual go to for tofu soup in Rancho Cucamonga.

Walked in after seeing the menu on the window and seeing the spicy pork noodles for a decent price. The atmosphere and vibe of this little place is spot on for a quick meal. It felt very sanitary and the wait staff were quick to greet me and provide service throughout.Unfortunately the food wasnt very satisfying. While the ingredients were obviously fresh and of high quality, the flavor was definitely off. For an item listed as Spicy Pork Paste over Noodles, the sauce was surprisingly sweet and mild. Like 90% sweet; 10% spicy. Not really what I was looking for or what was advertised. It reminded me of something akin to a sugary marinara sauce or zesty ketchup. In my opinion this did not mesh well at all with the other bowl ingredients, which were pickled cabbage, plain kale and dehydrated corn. Ketchup and kale...? ?♂️ I also felt that the noodles were too soft and a bit gummy, but this is more of a personal preference.I was very hungry and I always finish my plate! But overall I would not order the noodles again and felt that the dish was not synonymous with Chinese flavors. I will probably return to try the XLB, though.
Thippawan Thai Restaurant
9950 Foothill Blvd S, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
I was next door shopping for groceries, and noticed this restaurant. I have been craving for Kai Kua for some time. I thought I give it a try. I havent found a replacement for Sunshine in Hollywood, located on Western. I requested less sweet,I am glad they were able to accomodate that. I am very happy with my choice, and brings back a lot of fond memories about taking my friends to Sunshine in 80s,90S,2000s and even in 2010s.The last time I went to Sunshine, the grandchildren are running the restaurant. Anyway,I am glad I found my replacement. I will be going back to Thippawan to try out other dishes. I do reccommend others to try try out this joint. You wont regret it. Happy eating. The only complain I have is the chicken is really tough, next time I am going to ask for tofu instead.?
Citrus Kitchen Meal Prep
10431 Lemon Ave unit h, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737, United States
So, I cant believe the experience we just had Saturday at Citrus Kitchen. I mean, its a great alternative to cooking at home, and its great for my elderly mom who lives alone. Normally, Anthony takes care of my mom and helps her with a smile, and overall great service, getting my moms weekly order together. But today, Ryan, the apparent owner was so nasty and rude. First of all, he was condescending, then wasnt even listening to what my mom wanted, and third he started shouting things like You cant just get what you want.So this guy with serious anger n control issues, told my mom to get. If youre paying $80 for your order, the least you should be able to do is pick what sides you want with your meals. I dont think well ever go back. This guy is completely out of control. If hes really the owner, he really needs some psychiatric help. If he was lying to my elderly mom, he should be fired and get psychiatric help.UPDATE:After getting a heartfelt apology from Ryan, he gave me Mike the owners contact information. He was very nice and sent an apologetic and heartfelt text to my mom.She was very happy to get this text as this is all she wanted, a genuine apology and to know this wont happen to her or anyone again.
RC Mongolian BBQ

I have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant in my life. My wife and I came about 7:45pm. The hostess informed us that they closed at 8:30pm. Which was fine for us. We were seated and after a few minutes we went to get our bowls, upon getting to the grill the guy grilling told us that he was turning the grill off but he would cook our bowls. I told him that we were told they closed at 8:30pm. He said very rudely as he pointed to me “we turn everything off at 8pm and start cleaning, YOU leave at 8:30pm.!” I took our food and went to the table. At this point the food was very steamy and hot so we were waiting for it to cool. Meanwhile at 8:05pm.they started cleaning the whole restaurant, moving chairs around and making the few customers left uncomfortable so they got up and left.I asked the waitress if she wanted to give us boxes to go then we wouldnt mind just taking our food to go so they could clean and go home. She said “NO to go boxes with all you can eat!” I told her I understand that but you guys are closing and you didnt tell me that the grill would be turned off at 8pm. She said just this one time! We took our boxes and started to walk towards the door when the grilling guy started yelling towards us saying NO to go boxes, the lady came to try and calm him down, he started swearing at us and I told him I am just trying to do you a favor so you can go home. We proceeded out the door when my wife told me that he was coming after us running towards the door. I turned around and he was in my face, he grabbed my to go box and ran back into the restaurant. I went back in and he was yelling and screaming, meanwhile the hostess was arguing with him as well. He told me, you are lucky we even gave you a to go box, we usually charge by the pound. I told him just keep your food, I dont need it. My wife did end up with her to go box. In the end we paid $55 for one bowl of noodles. This is definitely not the way to treat customers and to make us feel like the bad ones even though we were trying to work around them. I highly recommend everyone to stay away from here, even if its just principle. FYI the food was terrible so maybe they did me a favor.
Chili House
United States, California, Rancho Cucamonga, Foothill Blvd, 邮政编码: 91739
The food in this restaurant is very delicious, I have been there many times. However, the service attitude of the waiters is too bad and the service quality is too bad. It is not ordinary bad; every time I go, it is the same waiter, who speaks very forcefully, is domineering, and is impatient in answering questions. Twice when I ordered takeout at noon, I was asked for a tip first. I even asked for a tip before I even saw the food and took the order. I really wanted to go to the relevant department to report her bad service attitude and asking for tips. People who have been there also said that the service attitude was poor. I wanted to go have something to eat, but changed my mind when I saw her face.Continued: Recently, a group of seven people went to dinner, and the waitresss attitude was as hateful as ever. When I walked in, I was told to hurry up and eat quickly, otherwise I would choose another restaurant. There was still an hour left before closing time, so I persuaded the two groups of customers who came after me to leave, saying that we were going to close. We handed over the bill before the food was even served, saying that we had to pay for it right away and that she wouldnt wait for us if she had something to do. There were still 20 minutes left before closing and I was picked up by a car waiting outside. My guests were all surprised by her attitude and shook their heads. They tried to argue with the boss but were told that the boss was not here. By the way, a few months ago when I was eating and ordering takeout, there was a male waiter who had a super nice attitude and was very patient.
Bright Star Thai Vegan Cuisine
9819 Foothill Blvd S, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
I've been holding off on writing a review here in hopes that the food would improve. We found this over 3 years ago and we're excited at the fact that we finally found a vegan Thai restaurant. When we first ordered we were so happy that we didn't really talk about the issue with the food. Once we kept ordering from here it became obvious that things would never get better. What's the issue with the food you ask? Well, it's simple. It's bland. We've explored the menu a little but have found items that we considered our “regular” dishes that we would get. Out of everything we've tried and each visit we find ourselves in disappointment looking for flavor and it's just not there. Most of the sauces are plain and super oily or watery. Also, speaking of oil we've noticed in the last few times we've ordered here the amount of oil used in the dishes that becomes apparent once you see it left over in the takeout dish or in your own plate is gross and ends up making us feel heavy and disgusting afterwards. A lot of the dishes (especially when you order a few things on the menu at once) taste all the same. The best way I can describe flavor of most the dishes here is: sad. This is hard to admit because if you're vegan you know how hard it is to find a decent vegan place in the Inland Empire (and in general). And when you do find a place you don't want to think of it anything other than great because you know that if something is not going right with the food that it will be one less vegan restaurant off the already short vegan restaurant list. We ignored it for a long time and kept ordering here in hopes things would get better but realistically, it hasn't.Also, if you tend to order takeout like we do, it's very much outdated. It's slightly frustrating to have to call in your order since they don't have a website NOR do they have a website with a menu (the only menu I've found is of customers who've taken photos of the menu but that can be old menus). I'm dumbfounded as to why this isn't a thing for them during this day and age (it feels like the old school days of having to call in your pizza order — those of you who had to do that know what I mean).I think our time ordering here has come to an end, at least for now. I think both me and my husband realized this after our over $85 dollar order last night and felt the whole order was a waste of money. Perhaps, we'll give it a try again in the future to see if things have changed but for now we'll still be on the search for a good Thai or Asian vegan place.
Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar
11560 Fourth St, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
I dont know who this menu is for. Its all over the place and Its just faux-elevated bar food (and not worth the price.Loaded potato hush puppies, by its name, should be a cornbread potato croquette with baked potato fixings. This was a mashed potato ball with the type of spicy aioli typically best served with poke. The chicken lettuce wrap is just a deconstructed Thai chicken salad that is hard to build and is better consumed as a salad...but not on the tiny plate they chose.Brussel sprouts were alright but the croutons should either be cut smaller or they should just toss them with breadcrumbs. Its hard to eat both a Brussel sprout (half) and these monstrous mouth-cutting herbed bricks. The menu is confusing and it is hard to get excited about items that dont make sense. Stop trying to cater to everyone and do one thing really well. I feel like they are trying to compete with BJs, which is another place I generally avoid for these very reasons.Apple huckleberry open faced pie has excellent vanilla bean ice cream (but... is that really worth mentioning?) and the hand-folded sugar crust is notable.HOWEVER, not only can you not taste huckleberry, it looks like more like a spread than the made-in-house compote one would expect from wild huckleberries.Service is excellent but that doesnt compensate for how utterly unsatisfying everything is. I was STARVING when we got here (we been traveling all day) and as famished as we were, not a single thing sounded appetizing. And by the end of the meal I was still exceedingly hungry.Perhaps the biggest dining disappointment in my entire life. If not for the happy hour prices and their e-club introductory coupon, it wouldve been a total loss. But we wont be racking up on more points on that membership.Speaking of memberships, theres a Costco around the corner. Save yourself the trouble and just buy 3 of their pizzas instead.Better yet, Blackbear diner aims for the same ambience but succeeds in a the ways this franchise fails. Go there if you want a rustic small mountain town feel with food you actually want to eat
Chop Stop
11144 Foothill Blvd #120, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
Asked them to bring my food to my car after paying that was parked right in front, the guy at the cashier said “Yeah we can do that.”. I sat there for 20 minutes as people kept going in and coming out with their food. After spending 5 minutes on hold to ask them how much longer til my food was ready, he said that because so many people were coming in that they were too busy to go out and give it to me. They didn't offer to remake the food either after it was sitting on their counter the whole time. What I don't understand is that I'm parked right in front of a sign that says they'll bring the order out to the car, and this cashier is putting me, a customer who has ALREADY PAID, below people who have yet to order. I don't want to go inside because I feel uncomfortable around groups of people during this pandemic yet I had to against my instructions. Why tell me they can bring it out if they are just going to let it sit there while I wait? Why advertise that they'll bring it out? The worst experience I've had at a store yet.
Thai T
9000 Foothill Blvd Ste 102, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
The best Thai restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga! Weve been eating here for more than ten years and have loved every meal! This is our go to place when we have company, and our go to place for special events. Weve celebrated all kinds of events with food from Thai T. Its a great place to bring vegetarians too because you can have tofu instead of meat with almost every meal. My favorite dish is spicy cashew nut, and you can have it with any meat you like or tofu. The fried cheese wontons are the best Ive ever had anywhere! I always try to leave room for dessert too because they make the best mango and sticky rice Ive ever had too. Their Thai iced tea is the best Ive ever had too. The staff are so nice too, its just the best! Love this place and highly recommend it!
