Taco Bell
6800 Eastern Ave, Bell Gardens, CA 90201, United States
So, I really dont give more than three stars to a chain restaurant where everything is programmed with minimal creativity. Everyone knows what to expect. Some, basic, Mexican want-to-be type food, disguised as a taco or a burrito. A few other reinventions of the same thing, but not worth it.So why give this particular Taco Bell an extra star or two? Well, there is a story...Walking past, a homeless guy was seeking shelter sitting down and leaning against the wall, across the street. He asked me if I could help him out, so I decided why not, and told him I would buy him a taco if he would like it. He was very happy and followed me over to Taco Bell, and respectfully stood to one side near the door, while I order his taco. When the counter staff handed me the takeaway bag, she nodded at the man waiting patiently by the door and gave me a smile. The bag was heavier than it should have been for a taco.I thanked her and handed the bag over to the man, who looked inside and opened his eyes wide in happiness when he saw not one taco but several extras, added by the staff. The man left with his quiet thanks, and when I saw him next, he was quietly sharing his meal with his girlfriend, both nestled up against a wall, on some cardboard and a blanket.Taco Bell, Bell Gardens, California... Helping out your community and those in needs, a few tacos at a time, earned you five stars.Good on you, team.

I think his name is also the Fisherman. Not very good this time. I ordered a vegetarian enchiladas, and they only brought broccoli with melted cheese. What we paid was very expensive for us.Update from 3.31.23 breaded shrimps this time. They were somewhat burnt. The Pescador from Tweety and Atlantic is better.

Rocios Mexican Kitchen

We notice it was highly recommended by a renown gourmet website. We were totally blown away. The chips brought to the table were topped with a light drizzling of molé and some pipian. The chips and its toppings were really telling us we were in for an unforgettable eating experience. We started with Queso fundido with chorizo. It came with hand made corn tortillas. The chorizo comes cut in bit-size chucks, not the crumbly pan dripping you get at most places. We enjoyed it very much. The cheese and the chorizo were flavorful. For our main course, we ate tacos de chapulines (grasshoppers), taco feos (ugly) and an empanada plater. My teenagers loved the grasshopper taco. I ate two of them. Absolutely delicious. The tacos feos are a chicken taco with some molé manchamanteles over them. It also has a pineapple slice and small slices of fried plantain in the taco. It was a flavor explosion. The empanadas were crispy and flavorful. I ordered some extra molé manchamanteles to dip them in and that took them over the top. We highly recommend you try the platanos in tequila. It beautifully presented on a plate with strawberry garnish. The bananas were slighly carmelize and topped with a flavorful cream topping. You could take the hint of tequila in the topping. We loved it. We even took some molé home. This is Mexican food its truest form. You could tell it was cooked the love and respect for the customer. We will be back soon

The best urban Thai food that I've ever had!!I ordered:1. Seafood Tom Yum2. Sriracha wings3. Chow mein4. Thai quesadilla - Chef's creation!5. Thai fried rice6. Thai milk tea7. Mango sticky rice with coconut milkThe food is definitely bomb, so good! It is flavorful on all the dishes, the Thai tastes are really on point. The service is also super nice and fast. I asked them for recommendations and satisfied with all of them. The sauce tray has 4 sauces that go really well with the dishes. They also manage the sauce tray really clean, this got me!There were 2 tables for dining in due to COVID but it gave a decent flow to the restaurant. I went for lunch that I see the place was busy during lunch time which showing me that this place is good! I also love the huge size Thai milk teas and yummy mango sticky rice desserts!! I also heard from the store manager that they change store decoration once a month for the occasions. This place is so fun!! I would definitely come back!

Alfredos Mexican Food
7101 Eastern Ave, Bell Gardens, CA 90201, United States
Been coming here for years, I always get the vegetarian burrito. When i first started coming here the veggie burrito was only $ 3.99 but now its $5.49. I didnt mind paying more because the food was always good. But I guess times change and having new cooks or maybe even new management has changed the way my food is being prepared. Got a veggie burrito last week that had maybe a small spoon of beans inside. Came back this week and found my burrito was made light (skimming on the ingredients) which I am not about to pay $5.49 for. So I guess I will have to find me a new place to eat that knows how to make food correctly every time. I would advise wasting your money at this establishment as the prices continues to rise you get less and less food. Fries used to be under $2 now they over $3. Avoid, Not Worth the Wait Time nor Money anymore.

I wanted to give it a zero, but since the food is good, Ill give it a 2. YOLANDA has a freakin NASTY ATTITUDE and thats putting it nicely. She acted like a big B****. Normally, even if people have an attitude somewhere, I wouldnt say this, but hers was so awful theres no other way to describe it. I know everyone has a bad day, but it was in the morning. She needed to go back to bed and wake up on the other side. To top it off she yelled at everyone to go wait outside when the guy cleaning told us it was open and the door was wide open, as well as the hours saying they were open. Then she gives my order to someone else that had a completely different order than mine. When I questioned her about my order she said that she had come out and said my order and the other guy took it. That I shouldve said something. How would I have even known? She made us wait outside! Another bad customer service move. She should make sure who she is giving the food to and that its the correct customer. From reading previous reviews, I notice were not the only ones that feel this way. Her job is customer service! So many people would love and need her job. If she doesnt like it, she should go somewhere else! Needless to say, we will. It was our first and last time there. Thanks to YOLANDA we wont be back and we definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!
