The Red Dot Vegetarian Kitchen
3221 Mt Pinos Way, Frazier Park, CA 93225, United States
Resume: Great (mostly Indian) food! Its not just minute-maid, its also very tasty! All fresh and home-made as you order (not in advance), everything is vegetarian, some even vegan or gluten-free. They even produce their own cheese! As everything is cooked right before you, you might encounter a little delay, but believe me, they are other things to enjoy there while waitingWhole story: I guessCome as a guest, leave as a friend has never made so much sense to me since I met these guys. I found this restaurant, by googling vegetarian restaurants while staying at Lebec, and here it pops. I was surprised by their grades and here I am giving them 5 stars myself. We tried the restaurant once and we went there ever after every mornings and nights during our stay.So we had the time to talk food with the Chef and also about the spirit that goes along with this place, because its important.Ive never felt so good in restaurant! It feels like the one and only preoccupation of the team is your well-beingAbout the food what can I say... Whatever you choose, youll never be deceived. Everythings tasty and fresh, made before you as you ordered and some are even home-made (like the cheese). In case of doubt or trouble choosing, just ask the Chef, hell give you the best advice to suit your taste

Had a very pleasant stay at Frazier View. Very quiet and comfortable especially the bed and lounge-chair. It felt very homey and I liked the warm peach wall paint and the lighting was nice and soft. Great deal for the price. Bathroom was very nice as well. Keyless entry was cool and convenient as I checked in late and got to go straight to my room without checking in. Would stay here again in a heart-beat.Also check out the Red Dot Vegetarian restaurant two doors down. Great food and opens early for breakfast coffee or tea.
El TESORO SALVADORAN FOOD
3216 Mt Pinos Way, Frazier Park, CA 93225, United States
Fun restaurant addition to the mountain! I appreciate having another food option that isnt pizza or burgers. The food from El Tesoro was very good, maybe a bit fried/greasy but its fine to have every now and then. The first time we ordered was interesting.. we couldnt get through on the phone so had to go place the order in person. Came back 20 minutes later to pick up the food. Almost everything was correct - however our order of pastelitos de papa had only 1 with papas (potatoes) and the other two were with carne (meat). Good thing our guests ate meat and nothing went to waste. Flavor was good so well be back again, especially for the pupusas and yucca!
La Lea Mexican Restaurant
16236 Pine Valley Ln, Frazier Park, CA 93222, United States
For being in a tiny town so far out from everything, La Lena Mexican Restaurant was a great surprise! We didn't know what to expect, but upon walking in the door we were immediately greeted with warm smiles and great service! The lady that served us was super on-the-ball and made us feel right at home!We ordered the sizzling fajitas trio and the enchiladas trio. Both dishes were excellent! In the fajitas, the shrimp, beef and chicken were super flavorful, cooked perfectly and just tasted great. It came with refried beans, Mexican rice, guacamole, pico de gallo, and some tortillas (which were cooked perfectly as well)! All three enchiladas were excellent as well. I can't decide which was my favorite!!Both meals were super hearty portions (like, super difficult to finish it all!) and it wasn't nearly as expensive as other Mexicans restaurants elsewhere considering portion sizes. We will definitely return when we visit Pine Mountain Club again!
Los Pinos Mexican Restaurant
133 Frazier Mountain Park Rd, Lebec, CA 93243, United States
My husband and I got seated promptly with no reservation. The food was tasty, and not greasy. The meal started off with the usual chips and salsa. The salsa was a bit more watery than I'm used to, I kept dripping it on the table and my shirt, but the flavors were spot on. My husband had the carne asada dinner and I had the Chile Relleno burrito. My husband enjoyed his dinner, though the asada was cut slightly thicker than the classic thinly sliced and marinated meat he's used to. I love Chile Rellenos, it's one of my go-to items to measure the quality of the food, but I'm not quite sure why I ordered it as a burrito vs. a regular unwrapped Chile Relleno possibly travel fatigue and low blood sugar or maybe because sometimes I like a flour tortilla on the side and I thought it was similar enough. The Chile Relleno itself was good, it wasn't drenched in fat and had the right proportion of egg to Chile ratio. Because it was wrapped in a tortilla they added a small bit of refried beans inside probably to glue it shut and additional melted cheese on top of the burrito it was a bit richer than I needed. or was use to. That being said I easily managed to gobble it up along with most of the rice and beans that accompanied it on the side. The food was surprisingly good and the prices were reasonable. The one down side to the restaurant was the service was a little slow and disorganized. Our waiter was good, but he was literally running at times because he was covering most of the tables, seating people, setting them up, wiping them down, getting drinks, taking the orders etc. There was a woman “working the floor” maybe the owner or owner's wife but her pace was let's just say less efficient. We weren't in a hurry and I kind of felt sorry for our waiter, who was working hard. We could see he was trying, but he could only do so much, so that's why I said the service was slow and disorganized, more from lack of personnel not from our waiters efforts. Definitely a good find in this small town if you have a taste for Mexican food. ?
China Red House
223 Frazier Mountain Park Rd, Lebec, CA 93243, United States
I know writing this review isn't gonna do me any favors. Uhm anyways, the steamed rice there is like Uncle Ben's rice. You should go there on Halloween. I guess glaciers are disappointing. A blonde with blue eyes owns it the core but it's in Chinese though. Chinese men think she's an animal and she thinks she's a HEtARD. But she doesn't cook like one. Otherwise I'd give it a 5 star review. The resurrected Christ probably made that rice. She is obviously married to the owner. That Chinese man of an owner is obviously orphaned so he's materialistic and sexual as all hell. Being her customer is better than being mine. I should feel sorry for anyone who sees the look on my face when I don't receive a tip. The business will never close down because of my mean face. He stopped making love to her and that's why the rice is bad. I'll make love to her for good rice. I'm really happy for his old happy to know that he's rich thanks to her. With that said, all I have to say is that that restaurant is not for Asians.
