Rutabegorz
211 N Pomona Ave, Fullerton, CA 92832, United States
I just went there and decided to try it out of recommendation from a friend. Prices are somewhat expensive but they do offer a decent selection of bagels, coffee and sandwiches. They’re specializing in vegetarian meals so I bought their veggie burger. It’s pretty interesting they use a sourdough bread to cover up the patty and it works quite well. Although the bread was a bit tough and overly toasted, the patty is really tasty along with the simple melted cheddar cheese on top of it. It’s $14 after tax but the portion is decent. Not too bad for a first try and the interior is quite nice. It’s Slow during the day. So unless you’re meeting a friend or a date, better to do a takeout. They’re definitely one of the few nice vegetarian restaurants around the area. Just be prepared to spend some extra money especially if you eat inside.
Chicana Vegana
113 E Commonwealth Ave, Fullerton, CA 92832, United States
???????????? This was one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Southern California. The psychedelic art reminding me of funkadelic and Parliament in the 1970s George Clinton. All the food was delicious as you can see the photos below I mean absolutely delicious. I wish I can give this place a six star instead of a five star. This is a very upbeat hip restaurant the staff were very friendly so many smiles and genuine connection. The french fries oh my God where I dont know where they got those french fries from maybe from heaven. The chili cheese fries were great too could have eased up on the sodium a little bit but I guess thats just a personal choice. The vegan burgers oh my God they put veggie grill to shame. The nachos were amazing oh my God they were out of this world. Everyone needs to go check out this restaurant it should be in Hollywood somewhere and if it was it would be the top vegetarian restaurant. If these restaurants could get a #Michelinstar this restaurant most definitely would for my personal opinion.
Pieology Fullerton (ChapmanState College)
516 N State College Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92831, United States
Awful experience Sunday at 6 PM after our Disneyland trip. We walked in to an empty Pieology line, which we thought would be a plus, but turns out they are empty during peak dinner time for a reason. I havent been to this one in years but I was really disappointed I didnt just go to the blaze closer to me. There were 6 employees there and yet we had to wait over 5 mins for anyone to help take our order with no one saying a word to us about what they were doing, waiting on, or what we should expect. Its ok to make customers wait, just talk to them. The first employee was cleaning up the underside of sauces section with a rag and no cleaning spray. She just kept pushing it around until it looked clean, but I figured that since that was under the trays, it wasnt a health issue. I could tell someone was very messy with the ladles as one of the marinara sauce trays had pesto, cheeses, and butter/oil pooled on the sides. The second employee was pressing and placing the dough on the trays. She seemed to be the only employee actually working the line. The third was scattered and asking the other two what to do, she tried her best to help but she was clearly new or undertrained to handle the customers all by herselfEmployee #4 was just standing in the veggies/meat section waiting and doing noting to help his team.Employee #5 was listening to music on her airpods while working the empty register, and she had an attitude when I paid and then asked for a cup and lid for my daughters apple juice. She seemed to think I was going to steal some soda so I said ok, no problem.Employee #6 was folding boxes, and a lot of them for an empty restaurant with only 2 pizzas in the over from other customers. Im sure they have to prepare for the rush, but this seemed to be pattern of every-person-for-themselves. She didnt know what all the sauces were and seemed bothered to have to go and find out. There should be a sign people can look at to know what to ask.Food tasted ok but this was mostly because of how hungry we were when eating them. The gluten-free crusts were burned and crispy like rustic crackers on a charcuterie board. One of my daughters pizzas was black along the edges and it had shrunk to about 8, when the other was overdone but the usual 10.I used to really like Pieology and have supported them since they opened the Fullerton location on State College. The prices have increased drastically to compete with Blaze, and that is typically fine with me if I need to pay extra to support a struggling business. However, theyre charging more for a subpar experience and leaves a lot to be desired.
Fresh, made to order Mediterranean Cuisine
132 W Commonwealth Ave, Fullerton, CA 92832, United States
Excellent Mediterranean restaurant. The service is friendly, the environment is cozy and the food is great. Currently my favorite place for falafel, and their chicken shawarma is delicious. They have vegetarian and gluten-free options as well. And if youre lucky, youll catch their belly dancers on certain weekends like I did.
Crepes Bonaparte - Fullerton
115 S Harbor Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92832, United States
This is a nice little eating spot tucked into a small courtyard in downtown Fullerton. They have a variety of Crepes both sweet and savory for about $8-9 each. Their breakfast crepes are served all day. They offered a choice of about 5 savory and 5 breakfast crepes plus an additional larger variety of sweet or dessert crepes. They also offer several types of champagne mimosas for about $3.50 plus a small selection of wine. This place was very busy on a Wed. weeknight at about 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. with lots of walk in traffic. I was told the place really gets hopping on the weekends. The two young women handling the walk up counter and crepe station were both extremely friendly and helpful. You can watch your crepes being made and the wait was minimal. They were quick and efficient. Once you grab your food you take it out the door to eat on their patio that had about 6 clean and colorful wooden tables available. My husband and I sampled 2 savory crepes and 2 sweet crepes and we both liked all 4 of them. For a light meal this was perfect. My husband, who had eaten a snack earlier, was completely satisfied but I was extremely hungry when we arrived and didnt feel the crepe was quite big enough to satisfy me for dinner all on its own as it did not come with anything else. That is the only reason for the missing 5th star. The food was very good, the service was excellent, and we enjoyed it and will go back.
Taco Bell

Taco Bell worker: hi what can I get you?Me: 2 burrito supremes and..Worker: got it.Me: umm & fire sauce?Worker: got it. Oh uhhh .... $7.09Me: umm yeah I rounded up earli-Worker: got it.Me (in my head):* screw it, I dont need a soda anyway *Ugh so I just proceeded to the first window. & yes this was my 2nd trip to Taco Bell today. Different locations. Anyway I pull up & hand him a $50 bill and 9 cents. He hands me back $3...Me: I gave you a $50Him: oh what? I thought it was a 10. Hold on. Heres your food.Hands me my bag and closes the window. I notice my burritos feel kinda hard...He gave me 2 hard tacos.I wave him to open the window.Me: I ordered 2 burrito supremesHim: yeah 2 dorito supremes Lol honest mistake I guess but thought he got it.Hes tapping the screen, looking a little lost. He calls over his manager, I assume. We fill her in, she calls to the back for 2 burrito supremes and then she rings me up for the correct amount and change. She quickly fixed the issues and apologized for the mix up. I feel for her! Shes working hard but everyone else is just futtin around. So I drive off and unwrap my burrito. It was a complete mess. I try to reassemble it so I can get a bite without spilling but this burrito is straight beans, sour cream, and a whole lot of sauce. I didnt even bother trying to eat it. But I was starving so I tried the other burrito. Idk why. Wishful thinking. Ugh thank God this isnt my local Taco Bell cuz this one is no bueno.
Taco Bell
131 E Orangethorpe Ave, Fullerton, CA 92832, United States
Very disappointed and infuriated at the service I received in this location the cashier joselyn was extremely rude and gave so much attitude, from taking my order to me receiving my order, When giving me my change she tossed the change to my hand that it all ended falling which mind you the change falling isn't my problem but the way she gave it to me with a lot of hatred, that was the beginning of the conflict she then gave me my 4 large drinks I asked for a cup holder and she laughed and repeated “ you need a holder “ with a smirk laugh and that's what set me off, I asked for the manager and the manager on duty didn't do anything to resolve the issue, words can't even explain this cashier attitude and lack of customer service. I am so upset with the situation.
Earth Bowl Superfoods
575 N Commonwealth Ave, Fullerton, CA 92831, United States
This place was a random find for me. I was a little skeptical as I had not had superfood bowls before, but knowing I could sample the items before I ordered helped me feel comfortable. My go-to orders usually include either mango & pitaya base (for a more fruity base) or cacao & coconut base (for more of a dessert feel) with vanilla chia pudding, strawberries, a lot of almond butter, pumpkin seeds and honey. There are tons more options for toppings, but Im easy to please! The service is always friendly here, and its always clean. My one complaint is that there are only three small tables. On the weekends, it can get kind of packed. But Ill take it as a win, because I want them to stay in business for years to come!

All About Pho
100 S Harbor Blvd Suite B, Fullerton, CA 92832, United States
I'm so happy that Fullerton has a great premium Pho spot in the Downtown area. It was previously occupied by Cha2o and has been closed for construction for months! I was driving by one day and saw that they had a “Now Open” sign. Not really knowing what to expect other than knowing that it was a pho spot, I came in with minimal expectations. As soon as I walked in, I was very surprised with the interior and the open kitchen layout. I was told by the servers that every piece of furniture including the plates/bowls were imported from Vietnam. At the front, they even have a contactless pickup where you enter a code and the box that holds your order will open up. Their pho offerings are definitely on the premium side but I believe the pricing and value is more than fair as the portions are very generous. Their broth is fantastic, and I believe they spend 48 hours making the broth. Usually I get very thirsty after consuming a bowl of pho due to the saltiness, but it was not the case here. They're also one of the few places here that offer an option of thin or thick noodles for their pho. I've been here twice so far and I've always had a pleasant dining experience. I definitely want to come back and try their other appetizers and pho when I get the chance.Oh by the way, did I mention that they have cool robo servers and that they have a mouth wash station next to the restroom sinks? I went with the next appetizer I had in mind which was the roasted bone marrow. I've had a couple of bone marrow dishes at other vietnamese fusion places before and while it's very tasty, it usually comes at a ridiculous price point. Therefore, I was honestly surprised that we got (2) large bone marrows that had a lot of fillings! For once, I actually had enough bone marrow to scrape off for all the bread slices. The provided bread is fantastic and toasted to crispy perfection. Definitely a decadent and rich appetizer before devouring your pho.Pho Tai Wagyu ($19.00) - Feeling a bit fancy so decided to go with this option with the choice of thick noodles. You have the choice of having the meat rare, medium or well done. I went with the medium option as I don't like it when my meat is too well done. I figured it would still cook a little while it sits in the broth. The wagyu was extremely tender and the amount of meat given was great! I was low key afraid I was only going to get a couple of pieces.Pho Le Xua ($19.00) - If you can't decide which meats you want, I highly recommend going with this option. I went with the choice of thin noodles. Like I mentioned, they are extremely generous with their meats and it was honestly hard to pick a favorite meat. I think I'm probably never going to deviate from this bowl. The meat off the bone slid off super easy.Matcha Coconut ($6.00) - loved the combination of both flavors and how it wasn't overly sweet. If you need something refreshing with a kick of caffeine, this is for you.Herbal Tea ($4.00) - This definitely cooled me down from the summer heat. Love the cup that it comes with. It's slightly sweetened.Salted Lemonade Soda ($5.00) - I was intrigued by the thought of a salty lemonade so I decided to try it out. Super refreshing and light. I liked how the salty flavor didn't overpower the lemonade.
