Furn Saj Restaurant & Bakery
1331 S Lone Hill Ave # 120, Glendora, CA 91740, United States
I dont even know where to start to begin describing just how much of a jewel this restaurant is. I suppose that I can just start with the fact that I walked in yesterday for the first time. Initially, I was going to Blaze Pizza, which is next door. But, something about the storefront caught my attention and diverted my plan. Going into that restaurant was seriously the best thing that I could have done.As I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the girl working behind the cashier. I was pleasantly surprised to see an extensive menu plastered on the wall with accompanying pictures. From studying the inside of the restaurant, I surmised that this is a Lebanese restaurant. Ordering my plate was so hard because everything looks sooo good. I went with the Beef Shawarma plate with hummus & their in-house salad. The moment that my plate arrived, I was taken aback by how big the quantity was. My first bite literally transported me abroad. I could tell that all of the ingredients were fresh and prepared in a distinctive manner. My meal was sooo delicious! I seriously think that this is the best restaurant in Glendora.10/10
The Diplomat Junior
171 N Glendora Ave, Glendora, CA 91741, United States
Really enjoyed this place. Was recommended to try from our family. I only wish they would have a closer location towards the Inland Empire. While searching it seems like there is another location, but for some reason there is a Junior to this location, would love to know why that name is added here. Anyways the two people working were so nice and helpful. We wanted to sit outside, so they ended up turning on two heat lamps so that we wouldn't be cold. The food came out fast, and the first thing that came was the hummus and pita bread we ordered, which kept us from being hungry but was really good. Keep note that some of the other dishes have pita bread so you could use those to continue to eat with the hummus. The hummus is not included in the other plates.I recommend the 2 combo, it was huge ! It had a nice pepper, some sort of sausage that was called lulu on the menu, chicken and beef, and rice. Even the rice was very flavorful. The other two things I would recommend is the lamb chops and the Beef Shawarma Fries. The Lamb chops were full of flavor and not gamey at all. The fries were crispy and the beef had a different marinade, that went really well with the fries.Overall had an amazing experience and would definitely come back again if I was in the area. Like I said I wished there was good Mediterranean food towards the inland Empire like this place. Until next time.
Loving Hut
722 S Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740, United States
We were looking for a vegetarian restaurant and came across Loving Hut with high ratings and a diverse menu, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the summer roll, tom yum soup, and pad Thai. The summer roll was ordinary; adding some basil could enhance its flavor, and the dipping sauce lacked taste and was too watery. The tom yum soup completely lacked the authentic tom yum flavor; aside from the sourness and peppery taste, it contained an abundance of cabbage, celery, and tomatoes, reminding me of the famous Harvard cabbage soup diet, making it the worst vegetarian tom yum weve ever had, especially after spending three months in Thailand last year, where we know what authentic tom yum tastes like. The pad Thai was decent, but nothing exceptional. We specifically went out of our way to try this restaurant due to its excellent reviews, but we were very disappointed. The service was also quite average; they only provided a small packet of chili sauce for both of us when we requested, and we had to ask for plates and bowls.
Taco Bell
116 E Rte 66, Glendora, CA 91740, United States
Dont eat at this Taco Bell after 6 pm . You are guaranteed the worst service I have ever been witnessed too. First off if you expect your food in a timely manner you can forget it they will handle every car in the drive-through first and then if you wait long enough you just might get your food cold or lukewarm at best. If you complain to the management you wont get a name of the manager working that shift or the name of the employee who your complaint you they make sure to either remove their name badges or refuse to give you their names for what reason .? Well I would say it would be to avoid responsibility for poor customer service and even worse terrible .dont get me wrong I do enjoy Taco Bell in many different cities but in my hometown in Glendora I was surprised to find that when I took a bite one single bite into each taco that I ordered the food was cold this our cream was rotten The taco shells were stale and all of it I mean right down to the trail them selves smell terrible. I waited 25 minutes for my food to get there and it took me five minutes to decide I want my money back. After paying the total sum of approximately 10. could receive was four dollars back. I returned a soda full and it only took me one small bite out of each item to find that none of it was edible and all I could get back with four dollars when I complained again that that wasnt correct and I want to the managers name they refused to do so not only that they laughed be rated my wife and myself and said I should just go home and forget about it the cashier employees name was Jamie as it was written on the receipt and I truly plan to complain I getting again as theres nothing worse to have poor customer service poor food paid good money and a lot of time for something that couldve been easily settle

Taco Bell
105 W Arrow Hwy, Glendora, CA 91740, United States
I went there this evening. I was the only one in drive thru line so there was no reason to hurry. When I was handed my sealed order I was assured everything was inside. I drove home and opened the bag only to find my order incomplete. I drove back and entered the store to let the employee know my order was incomplete. I repeated the order for them and they had the nerve to ask if I paid for what was missing. Is it a common experience for customers to make 2 trips within 10 minutes to your store to collect things they didn't pay for or make an attempt to get something for free? I then watched other orders get filled before mine was bothered to be done. (Keep in mind the other part of my order was at home getting cold.) I was finally handed the rest of my order that I had paid for on the first trip and told to have a nice evening. A nice gesture but how about an apology for my inconvenience? How about adding something extra to the bag for the inconvenience your employees caused? You failure to provide a simple apology and your poor choice to treat me as if I was trying to get something for free is clearly an example of poor customer service training.

Crispy wing appetizer was sooo yummy! Fried tofu plain until you added the sauce and fried spring rolls were a touch greasy...but light and crispy. Their dipping sauces were all good and complimented the dishes.I had the crispy fatty pork vermacelli...my new favorite summer meal. Veggies were so fresh. My vegetarian sister enjoyed the vegan meat banh mi. She said the bread was exceptional. My vegetarian neice happily reported the vegetarian pho had very tasty broth...the best she has had.Ben the owner was very attentive though being a relatively new restaurant he had to take orders, serve, greet customers, bus tables.I will definitely be back!!
The Curry Pizza Company 7
630 S Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740, United States
Oh. My. God. Not once in my life have I ever felt compelled to write a review as I am still eating my meal, but this is too good to not shower my praise upon this restaurant immediately.Their pizza is cooked to absolute perfection. Not a single bit was undercooked, overcooked, or soggied by the weight of sauce/toppings. A nice crispy crust and a bountiful amount of spicy, flavorful toppings makes for a perfect and unique pizza.Their waffle fries, desi cheese bread, and wings of many varieties are also phenomenal. With vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options with both Indian and American flavor choices, this place will have something that anyone, picky or adventurous, will love.I just... oh my god... Im so happy ???
Domestic

Putting this into perspective:This is a smaller place with less traffic than a usual restaurant.I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and a side of bacon Mac n cheese. The pulled pork was good not to dry with a very good smokey taste. The sandwich bread didnt have spread and it was a little dry, but Ill give them credit for using a light amount of BBQ sauce.I hate BBQ sauce because people soak their food in it and it defeats the purpose. Here they use it well.Sandwich was $7 and it left me satisfied. However, the bacon Mac n cheese was okay. They do have a nice spicy kick to them but they are not creamy enough. Mac n cheese needs to be thick and creamy (the cheese portion). This side is pretty small with a price tag of $3... Its hard to defend the price based on the flavor alone.I tried my friends fries that he ordered with his chili cheeseburger. The fries were over seasoned and tastes like Lawrys seasoning salt. The ambience of the restaurant is modern industrial meets rustic old people. Service was good and friendly. Clearly this BBQ restaurant was designed with a bar at its core. They have local brewed beers with a $7 price tag for 16oz a little pricey, but it is local beer...If you are in the area, and really in the mood for BBQ then try it out. Yet, this place is not a must-have.
