Barbonzai Lebanese Eatery Lake Forest Halal Med...
24301 Muirlands Blvd Suite S, Lake Forest, CA 92630, United States
Flatbread really good. Falafel really good. However the guy that took my order said the chicken was shawarma chicken in the wrap I ordered. It wasn't Sharma, it was Halal. No big deal but he disappeared or I would have reminded him. The menu says halal. But it was my first time so I asked questions. The chicken halal wrap was okay. The bread tasted processed. I expected something more authentic. I spent $45 on 2 wraps, 1 cheese flatbread, 2 sides of tahini, 2 falafels, a 2oz side of hummus and 2 drinks. When I asked the cook for a 2oz side of tahini. He said it was .95. I passed. So basically he doesn't understand restaurant basics. I spent $45. That's rubs me wrong, that he wanted to charge me. And pointed out that we already had a side with our falafel. No im sorry or just this once I can. Plus he wasn't a very cheerful person like with a smile. He seemed grumpy. Attitude goes a long way. He now lost us as customers over a side of tahini. Maybe .35 his cost. Not a good move bro.

Inka Grill
23600 Rockfield Blvd #2K, Lake Forest, CA 92630, United States
Did you know Peruvian food is popular because Peruvian dishes can be so diverse, with so many ingredients to choose from. Ive been coming to Inka Grill one or two times a month Ive tried mostly everything. The location of Inka Grill is 23600 Rockfield Blvd, Lake forest, CA 92630. Inka Grill is a Peruvian cuisine restaurant that claims that 99% percent of their ingredients are fresh. Its surprising to me that they have been open for twenty eight years and even survived a pandemic which shut a lot of restaurants down.It was founded in 1996. Its a family owned restaurant inspired by her Grandmother's cooking back in Peru. The first items visible when entering are some old antiques like cooking ware, old plates and designs on the walls. The first thing you hear from entering people just having conversations and the workers cooking at the back of the restaurants. When getting there the first thing you smell is the chiefs cooking food or the food the people are eating when getting seated you get a smell of buttered bread at your seat with this green sauce but be careful with its because it might look harmless but it has a good kick to it! My experience upon arriving was nothing crazy, just a regular entrance with a little bit of seating outside so don't expect a crazy entrance. The typical customers that I saw when I went were mostly Latins and a little Peruvians. They were super calm and super nice. The ambiance is very positive and everybody that enters has a positive vibe when walking in the restaurant. Inka grill is worth a try when you have time to go to a restaurant. For example. The food item Inka Grill is most known for is their ceviche. There ceviche is a small dish that has marinated fish with this tangy spicy lime juice with just the right amount of crushed garlic to not overpower the dish with some perfect looking cilantro and perfectly cut onion.Another food item that I bought was Aji De Gallina. It has shredded chicken in a tangy Peruvian curry sauce served with perfectly cut potatoes and well cooked rice sprinkled with cheese. In my opinion its something worth a try if you are going to try it for the first time and if you like more simple food. Another menu item is a drink called Maracuya. Maracuya Is a type of passion fruit drink that is sweet but not too sweet. It is also worth a try if you like passion fruit if you dont. I suggest getting a fountain drink.another menu item is a dessert called juanitas crepes. Juanitas crepes is a homemade french style crepes that are really warm andsoft filled with sweet dulce de leche served with there nicely fried plantains(bananas) and has a piece of cold ice cream that gets melted by the warm crepes. The restaurant is different from the others because it sells a diverse food you don't see everyday in different restaurants around Orange County. The reason why i think its so special is because its a fusion of local and international flavors.Inka Grill is a good restaurant to try because it has a lot of options to try and different menu items that most restaurants dont have. Inka grill is a good Peruvian cuisine restaurant that is all homemade and made by great workers. Inka grill is a place you wont find everywhere around Orange County, Buen Apetito!

Royal Rasoi

BEST Indian cuisine (buffet) I have ever eaten. The restaurant’s environment is very clean, and everything is well-organized. The dishes at the self-service counter are very fresh, and the counter itself is very tidy. There is a wide variety of vegetarian dishes, chicken, and lamb dishes. Each dish has a unique style and distinct flavor. The garlic naan is highly recommended, as it is very aromatic. The yogurt counter features a variety of special Indian snacks and desserts. The owner is very warm and patient, providing attentive and comfortable service.

Brizio Pizza Italian Kitchen

I really don't understand how you can offer vegan cheese as an option if the dough itself is not vegan??? I'm not vegan but my son has a dairy, egg, and nut allergy so I was thankful they were open on thanksgiving so we could get some pizzas for lunch. I asked if the vegan cheese had nuts and they said no which was great. Then before I put the order in I wanted to confirm that the dough was just wheat and didn't contain dairy/egg and the person taking my order went to ask the kitchen and she came back saying the dough contains dairy. She said the gluten free and cauliflower didn't. So I asked if those contained egg and she said it does. She also said the chicken tenders contained egg and dairy (in our experience if the restaurant gets the tenders from a supplier they usually only contain soy and wheat but if they make it in house they have their own batter - not sure which version they had and at this point I didn't want to continue asking questions about allergens). Long story short we left without being able to order any food. However we have eaten there in the past and the food was okay. Wish they offered a true vegan option for people who are vegan or have allergies. If I'm wrong about this I will update my review. There is always a chance the people working there are just not as informed about ingredients.

Ikes Love & Sandwiches
23646 Rockfield Blvd #602, Lake Forest, CA 92630, United States
I have love Ike’s Sandwiches since I lived in the Bay Area where I discovered their restaurants. I was so excited to see they were opening a location right next to my office. I ordered the Hunter Pence, basically a Turkey, bacon and avocado. Delicious and fresh ingredients, fast service and friendly staff. It is a bit expensive, but take advantage of their rewards program, you will find new deals and they help you to explore their large menu of delicious sandwiches. Vegan and vegetarian options are always great.

Kabab Express
23624 El Toro Rd Ste A, Lake Forest, CA 92630, United States
Express without sacrificing quality; this is fresh and top-level Mediterranean, best rice Ive ever had, cant forget the flavor...I drive out of my way to come here and its worth the effort; I initially decided to try it due to the fact that its the most highly-rated Mediterranean restaurant in the area, and Ive now become a loyal customer.Mike (the owner) is so warm and friendly, hes a wonderful host and even gave me Persian caramel tea on the house on my 1st visit. It was late at night but the naan bread was very fresh, as was everything else... When I told Mike how impressed I was to have such fresh bread just 30 minutes before they closed, he told me they bake it fresh with every order. The Feta Cheese & Walnut Salad was wonderful with fresh herbs and veggies and paired well with the Mixed Rice Special (a mixture of lentil, sautéed onion, raisins, dates, mixed with white Basmati rice). The seasonings of the rice were outstanding and I honestly couldnt tell you where to find anything comparable. On a subsequent visit I had the Vegetarian Eggplant Stew and while it was also seasoned and prepared very well and I have no complaints, the salad with rice are going to be my usual.

Pita Pita
23052 Lake Forest Dr b2, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, United States
I dine out everyday so I am always on the look out for eateries that offer dishes which both taste good and are also healthy. This places Mediterranean food high on my list of frequented restaurants.I have eaten at Pita Pita a number of times over the past few years. It was never a favorite, but it was a good place for a change of pace. In the past I would have given Pita Pita a 4 star rating.Maybe it is a bit unfair to compare a fast-food Mediterranean eatery with a genuine, full-service restaurant, but these are my only experiences. As such, Pita Pita has dropped to a 3 star rating for the following reasons:Food quality - still 4 starCleanliness and atmosphere - still 4 starService - was 4 star, now 2 star and this is why I feel this way:In the past you entered the restaurant and walked past a line of food servers who were helpful and asked you for your preferences as you passed down the line. You could see the food, ask opinions of the various servers, choose different toppings and sauces, etc.Now that area is blocked off with obscure glass panels and you interact with one order taker making you feel like you just drove up to the drive-through window at McDonalds. When I asked this young gentleman why this change he said it was because of COVID and will likely be permanent now. I regularly frequent many restaurants that now have returned to normal, and I feel comfortable once again with the warm atmosphere. Conversely, Pita Pita now feels like a cold, corporate run food factory.I ordered the steak pita and a spinach salad. In the past there would be many questions asking about various toppings. This time I was served my meal in what appears to be take-out containers, offered no choice of toppings, and I had to return to the cashier because they didn't even ask if I wanted tzatziki sauce for my steak pita.My meal cost me $23.00 for the steak pita (which came with home made potato chips), a small side spinach salad (about the size of a large bar of soap), and a fountain drink. True, this was far less costly than a quality Mediterranean restaurant, but after my recent experience here I do not believe I will be frequenting this establishment again in the future.I will miss the potato chips.

Veggos Green Cuisine
23615 El Toro Rd Q, Lake Forest, CA 92630, United States
Veggos offers an all vegan menu which is exactly what we were hoping for. Also, at typically raw vegan restaurants, the portion sizes are small. Not here--the portions are adequate. We ordered a variety of items, such as the green bowl, nachos and hummus burger. Unfortunately, all three items were similar in taste, with the dominant flavor being the onion bread. Additionally, each dish came with a new plastic fork, was served on paper plates and one dish was served in a styrofoam bowl. Plastic cups were the choice for water. This place is not friendly for the environment. Another disappointment was the pitcher of water. The cap looked as if someone had just finished working on a car and opened the lid. I checked the caps on nearby tables and saw similar black markings on the caps. The food was okay, but it is not a place we will return.

Nekter Juice Bar
23612 Rockfield Blvd Suite B, Lake Forest, CA 92630, United States
Acai superfood bowl continues to decline in value! A couple of years ago I was a regular customer (4x per week purchase of superfood bowl). I was a simi-reluctant patron because I thought the bowl price was too high, but the quantity and quality of product good. As their portion/bowl size declined I found a different Acai bowl shop ( Natura Bowls in Tustin) with much greater portion size, lower price and equal or greater quality). Unfortunately, they this shop is currently in winter hours and open too late for me to stop by on my way to work. I reluctantly went to a Nekter shop near my office today and ordered an Acai superfood bowl. What an even greater dissappointement; not only is it the same expensive yet small size bowl, but it was only filled 3/4 full with product. Huge rip off!! Service was friendly.
