Gabys Restaurant
3216 Washington Blvd, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292, United States
I ordered food for 18 guests and it only served 13 plus the food was dry and meat was chewy no good as in the past there food used to be great and it served double every time u ordered from them so it was very disappointing when I called to dispute that the food was only for 13 people and to be fair I need a refund on the rest I was told by the manager that he will refund me 7 days later I followed up he said has refunded me but I called my bank and no refund had been issued. I cannot be babysitting as I have my work so I am putting this review to warn people don't order food from here if you do please double check if the food is enough and taste it for quality as well because it went down hill .This review is to protect others to please make sure to triple check your food if you dare to order form their because if I had my full party of 18 show up the food would not have been enough and I was already humiliated since food barley made the 13 guests and I did not eat anything to ensure food was enough. I was humiliated I front of my guests because of the food quality and amount. Please be careful of their service as it has gone extremely down .

I got the curried chicken salad. I lost my mind. I got in between medium and small for the amount of dressing. It was delicious I highly recommend it!! My friend got the Kale caesar. She doesnt like kale so I though it a weird choice, but she loved it. There are some outside seats and some seating inside. SUPER CASUAL wooden seats etc. You walk up and they basically walk down a table of ingredients and build your concoction then you pay and sit yourself down and eat. They have seen unique teas and juices but I just got water. Everything g was so fresh and delicious. Perfectly sized portions. Next time I will add extra chicken because I need higher protein. But it was enough on its own Im guessing for most people. This will be my stop anytime I am coming to the Marina to hit that Sephora or the Amazon bookstore. Come eat then shop. There is a parking lot bit it we had to park on the other side of the parking lot. Still not but a 2 minute walk. They do have handicap accessible parking and thats good to know if you need that. I like to get extra steps in so I never sweat parking. I am excited to go back!! Oh and my friend paid but I think now she said there is no cash payments. Hmmm let me double check. Ok I just texted with them and yes credit cards only till next year. Another you go. Please like if my review was helpful and comment or ask any questions. Xo

Rainbow acres is the ONLY place I go to buy fresh squeezed juice when I am in Marina Del Rey. This no thrills store is what Whole Foods would look like without the fancy decorations. This store has a small kitchen with a menu loaded with fresh, healthful choices. Quinoa, brown rice, tempeh? Yep. This place has it all.The staff is really friendly and will suggest food/juice based on your taste preferences. The only thing I would change is to offer larger juice selections. The currently selection offers 12 ounces and 16 ounces. I would love to have a 32 ounce option as opposed to purchasing two 16 ounces.

Three of us had brunch here. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The waitress was pleasant and helpful. The menu is simple exclusively vegetarian and has a broad selection of our food came fast but were were there at opening so your times could be different. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge was great the food was great and thus a lovely meals was had. If you have been skeptical about vegetarian food this should be your gold standard. I really enjoy eating here simply for the pleasure of not missing meat and proving that excellent vegetarian is possible. For San Francisco dinning this is reasonably priced but it’s not a budget restaurant.

Rude people! Not sure if she is a manager or what but everytime I have come here when she is here Ive had a problem. Came in for lunch, ordered from kiosk and wasnt given all the drink options so selected diet pepsi expecting to get my own. When my 11 year old daughter asked to get the correct drinks after they made them in the back instead, the lady behind the counter popped an attitude about the fact that diet pepsi was selected, then my daughter told her that the option for regular was not given and she got upset but got the drink anyway. Had to send my drink back because it was not the brisk dragon I clearly asked for it was something red. Oh and my daughter found a hair in her food. She told the guy we usually deal with about it and he fixed it but not without having to fight with the ladies behind him.We WONT be coming back here for a while.

YardHouse Tuna Poke Nachos Made Me Sick!Raw Tuna Poke Nachos Made Me Sick !Follow up: After waiting 9 days, I finally heard back form Gallagher Bassett yesterday, I was asked questions, all they wanted was a doctors test results proving I got sick from eating Poke Nachos at Yard House MDR. After almost a hour on the phone, Sabrina's only offer was to have someone contact me again from yard house guest. Thanks for nothing Yard House!————————————————I received a email response from yard house yesterday stating someone would contact me by days end. It's the next day and I still haven't heard anything. They could care less about customers.——————————————————0 stars:Warning: After eating poke nachos I was sick. If you get a case of food poisoning/stomach bug from the Yard House or any other restaurant go the hospital or your doctor immediately, don't wait for assistance from the restaurant or their insurance company, all they will do is give you the runaround to avoid any liabilities or costs to them.I've been a longtime customer of Yard House and eaten there many times. I ordered a poke nacho appetizer (raw tuna) and a few beers with friends Tuesday after seeing a movie.I woke up in the middle of the night around 3am feeling queasy, and then proceed to spend the rest of the morning hours making way too many trips to the bathroom with a extremely bad case of explosive diarrhea.I reported the food poisoning/stomach virus online and called the manager at 11am that morning when the Yard House opened. The manager on Wednesday apologized and was going to tell Gallagher Bassett and they would be contacting me to check my condition and would be offering assistance if needed.I stopped at CVS late that morning to buy Imodium to hopefully decrease my symptoms.I never received a call Wednesday or Thursday, so Friday morning I called Yard House to report my diarrhea had not gone away and that I never heard from GB, again the manger said he would call them, later in the afternoon I received voicemail from YH stating GB was contacted once again and a message was left about my case/complaint.I not holding my breath waiting, needless to say after this experience, I will no longer be a customer of Yard House restaurants.Avoiding customers is unacceptable!I block out my bartenders name on my check pic, she was wonderful as always, no complaints.
Sampas Pizza Cafe
534 Washington Blvd, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292, United States
I have been buying pizza from Sampas for a few years already. Being Brazilian myself, Im happy to have them close to our home and order from them often. I love their pizzas and also some of desserts, like the Brigadeiro cake. Today, I ordered 2 pizzas to take out and wanted to add some slices of the Brigadeiro cake to my order, and there were already a few cut and in plastic containers. I could easily tell those slices were old and dried by looking. When I mentioned that to the girl helping me she looked at them herself, made a face and agreed by saying I know, that is bad . So I asked her for some slices from the fresh cake that was right there in plain view, instead. I could not believe my ears when she actually told me no, and that I could not have new ones and she insisted I buy the the old, stale ones first!!! Seriously???Now, if I am paying $7.00 for a piece of cake I should be able to choose a fresh one. This person should learn more about what she should and should never say if she is in a customer facing position in a restaurant! After I got home I called over there. She answered the phone and I asked to speak to the manager. She refused to put the manager on and then said she wasnt there. I asked when shed be back and she answered I dont know, she was here earlier which isnt really an answer... I then asked for the managers name and after 5 seconds of silence she asked Why? I repeated the question and she reluctantly gave me her name after another long pause. She clearly realized it was me calling by that time and reacted very poorly. Just BAD BUSINESS any way you slice it!
Ikes Love & Sandwiches
4371 Glencoe Ave Unit B-9A, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292, United States
Once again, this place is a FAIL. I have tried to eat here 4 times and always have one simple request that I ask for in the nicest way possible - Please toast the bread. I do not want the bread to be soft, I want the bread toasted and crispy because I may save half of this sandwich for later and do not want it to get soggy. They never ever ever ever do it. Its like they dont understand the concept that some people in the world like their sandwich toasted to a crisp. This has happened 4 different times and Ive come to the conclusion that they literally do not care what you ask for - they will just make it however they want and pretty much ignore you. Dont even bother trying to make any modifications to your order - they do not care.Today, I happened to be near them and thought I would give them another shot and specifically explain that I would like the bread toasted. Once again, my sandwich didnt even look like it was lightly toasted. It actually felt like the girl who took my order purposely did not follow directions. Also, her customer service was TERRIBLE. Dry, unwelcoming, and made me feel like I was irritating before I even ordered. She clearly did not want to be there which is why I know she specifically ignored what I asked for. Sorry, but I didnt think simply asking for my sandwich to be toasted was that complex or demanding. The ingredients arent that great, they do not follow directions, and the customer service is horrible. Get a sandwich from somewhere else!

** To those on plant-based diets: beware.**Very disappointed with the plant-based protein lunch options: only one option and there's not much protein.I'd eaten near this place several times at night when it was closed. I'd glanced briefly at the menu and was excited about the possibilities. I came for lunch today. While they seem to have a number of plant-based breakfast bowls (lots of carbs — I'm not sure how much protein, if any, is in them), they only have *one* plant-based protein lunch option: tofu panini. Normally it comes with the soup of the day. Today the soup was chicken soup, so I couldn't eat it. They were not willing to make a substitution. (I suggested even something small like a shot of ginger, which costs less than the standalone cost of a cup of soup. They declined.) When I bit into the Panini, I discovered it was tons of bread – and very little tofu. So, now I'm going to a nearby restaurant to buy something else that's truly a meal and not mainly bread. Fortunately, within 50 yards there are three restaurants with solid plant-based protein options: Dametra Mediterranean, Deli Delicious, Teriyaki Madness. I suggest you go to those or others instead.
