Pieology Pizzeria, Norco, CA
1411 Hamner Ave, Norco, CA 92860, United States
2 stars instead of 1 because I normally love pieology. This most recent experience however was a train wreck.Entered around 11 and saw only 3 other diners, so a rather slow lunch comparatively. Granted I hadnt come in a few months but i digress. The worker at the front was painfully slow and confused about taking an order for the classic margherita. But I assumed it was a new worker and finished ordering. After paying and going to sit i saw quite a Few pizzas sitting out at the cutting stations with another rather confused looking worker alternating between staring at tickets and dropping the pizza spat off the magnetic holder. So.... two new personnel out of 4?I went and got my drink, after 2 attempts at different sodas that seemed to have no syrups available, (so I got a mouthfull of colored soda water) I opted for the tea and had a seat. After sitting and recognizing the concerned faces on my fellow separate diners with no food in front of them, (interesting considering the number of pizzaz on the cutting board) I concluded that this was about to be an interesting lunch.15 minutes of waiting did not disappoint. I watched the female diners storm the counter and demand their pizzas to go, as they had been waiting for 25mins and were out of time. I saw the cronic spat dropper wallow among the tables with all the direction of a lost puppy with a curiously black pizza on her tray, asking aimlessly whose claim it was (if they were even brave enough to admit it).30 minutes later I asked for mine to go, not entirely sure if it would appear at all. My coworkers pizza arrived curled from severe burns on one end and raw on the other. By what force of physics this was achived i cannot even fathom, but he just got a refund and stopped for del taco on the way back to the office.I however was still curious what my pizza would look like, if in fact it ever would appear. It did finally appear in the hands of the lost puppy worker who had no idea if it was mine or not.Sadly for the punchline of this story, aside from being cold from extended neglect on the cutting board, my pizza had no notable deficiencies, and though cold, was still quite delicious once I brought it back to to the office to eat it (as i was well past out of time).Tldr; the new guys need some serious practice time.
Norco Nutrition Spot
2395 Hamner Ave, Norco, CA 92860, United States
I was looking for juices, and plant based food items, turns out it mainly consists of items made with protein. I bought the waffles and skittles tea since I was hungry, I don't normally take protein drinks/powders either for other reasons. I asked about açaí bowls and was told their protein bowls are healthier than acai. I was looking for the antioxidant benefits but ok. LOL. As I was waiting for my order i started looking around the place, I noticed they are promoting Herbalife items and pamphlets which is also a multi level marketing scheme. At that point It made sense why their items consisted mainly of protein and teas and no natural items. It's very deceiving and that was disappointing. Regardless if the drinks or food are delicious or not, if it truly was a nutrition shop, their items wouldn't be limited to items with just protein in them.
Thryve Juice Bar - aa bowls, juice, smoothies, ...
3699 Hamner Ave STE H, Norco, CA 92860, United States
The PB bowl is my everyday lunch and it is amazing and humiliates away Nekters PB Bowl. Thryves bowls and other products are all better and far better priced than Nekters. I love how fast they are as well after placing your order on one of their four kiosks. I read Giovannys review here and it is hilarious because he obviously is affiliated with Nekter. Dont listen to that liar. Thryve makes their own handcrafted nut butters and sells them to the public. They taste amazing. Thryve also sells an amazing almond butter bowl, pumpkin seed butter bowl and sunflower seed butter bowl. They are all delicious. GIovanny is a liar.

Im always a little bit reluctant when I see a high star rating but a low number of reviews. Hanami is worth a visit.Ramen is one of my favorite comfort foods. Maybe its because I travel so much for work. But lets face it, who doesnt like sitting down to a nice steamy bowl of ramen.I tried the tonkotsu ramen, which is apparently one of their most popular. Rich broth with a catchy peppery, garlicky flavor. Very nice at first taste. Hanami offers different noodle types along with different protein choices for each broth. I had the curly noodles (thick and chewy and almost perfect) and chashu pork. While the pork wasnt melt in your mouth tender (which Ive rarely found), it was tasty and among the most tender Ive discovered.A nice surprise was the whole egg I found buried in the noodles. Perfectly done and with just a hint of sweetness with each bite. For me, at least, the pepper/garlic got to be too much near the end and I didnt finish the broth. Perhaps just a little overpowering, but that first spoonful...I dont get to Corona often, but when I do, you know where to find me. Ill definitely be back. No beer or wine on the menu, but maybe in the future?

Norco Pizza Company

Very reasonably priced pizza and very good quality! Plenty of toppings, tasty sauce and reasonable amount of cheese.I get mine with a little extra sauce and ask them to crisp it more. The extra crisping really makes a difference if youre taking it home, delivery, or planning to have leftovers. The mango habanero boneless wings are fantastic! I always get the 20 piece. Theyre not little tiny pieces either. Most are more than a single bite.Theyre working to add a larger dine in area. Little bit of a mess, but nothing major.Staff is very friendly and is great about customer service.Deliveries can get a little flaky because of the labor shortage, but theyll let you know when you call.
In-N-Out Burger
1810 Hamner Ave, Norco, CA 92860, United States
Yes the lines are always long but so worth it I dont know how they can make such a great tasting hamburger without pickles in it ??? I always like extra pickles on my hamburger or I dont like it at all unless its an In-N-Out Double-Double they are so delicious and flavorful and they dont eat the pickles and the animal style fries genius!!! Californias are so proud to have had In-N-Out only in California for such a long time ...its not only a place to eat its a land mark to take out of state visitors to ... Although the lines are long compared to most other places~ they managed to get the food out quickly you go in there and you think on my gosh Im going to be in here forever and now forever turned out to be 15~20 minutes and those 15 minutes or 20 minutes whatever you wait or the food its so worth it because its so delicious no matter what you get and I have a whole new respect. for the fast food i dustry... I usually go by myself but this last time someone gave me a ride and they were waiting in the car as I was inside and so I was watching the people behind the counter you go in there and you watch the people work and you never see anybody slacking off, they always look professional and their doing what theyre supposed to be doing they have a smile on their face, they look happy and they managed to get the food out as quickly as possible considering that there was standing room only when you go in its amazing I have a whole new respect for the fast food industry...or maybe the are just in a legue of their own.... they have it down to a science... So if you have the time this is the place to go and get your fast food(or not so fast food~ like I said is not always fast but its always so worth it)
Cowgirl Cafe
2859 Hamner Ave, Norco, CA 92860, United States
A little far from where I live, but since we were in the area for work related stuff we hopped onto Yelp and found this gem of a place. The place was poppin when we arrived for brunch, but we opted for the bar that was empty and free so no wait. The restaurant has a VERY homey vibe. The kind of feeling you get from a small town where everyone knows everyone and everyone is family. Thats the feeling I got when I was watching the patrons and staff interact.Ordered their veggie omelette and when it came out I was impressed with the vegetable that they used. Ive NEVER had a vegetarian omelette be cooked with zucchinis (a very different ingredient compared to the usual onions, tomatoes, spinach and mushrooms). I very much liked it, I LOVE zucchinis. Although the eggs were a little overcooked for my preference, I usually like my eggs a little on the goopier cooked raw side. The extra star is for the staff, theyre so nice and friendly here. I forgot my Takeya water bottle and one of the waitresses came out to find me in a mass of cars in the parking lot to return it to me. So sweet of her. :)
Saddle Sore Saloon
343 Sixth St, Norco, CA 92860, United States
Couldnt really expect too much on a Monday afternoon after horseback riding, coming to this place for lunch was a bit of a blah moment since we just wanted food in our stomach. My main concern with this place was the lack of servers during off peek hours. The only person running the front of the saloon at the time was the bartender who was way too occupied attending to regulars that it look way too long to get her attention before we could order our food. Seriously thought about leaving at one point because she didnt look out way and kept talking to regulars are the bar. It wasnt busy on a Monday, since there were only about 3 tables and 5 people at the bar, but it was difficult to order. When we did get her attention, ordering was pretty straight forward and got our food rather quickly and nothing too spectacular about the food. Considering that we were hungry, I would assume the food would taste great, but not really. We did the 2 for $22 Monday deal and it was filling. The saloon was dimly light so it felt darker than it needed to really be so its not for dates so much as it is for watching the sports on the televisions that were on the walls.
Wahoos Fish Taco
1295 Hamner Ave, Norco, CA 92860, United States
Came in for lunch today and ordered the Loaded Nachos. The Loaded Nachos come with a choice of meat, topped with beans & jalapeños, served with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole (per their menu). Well, I was charged extra sour cream and the guacamole - which is usually included. They also wanted to add rice to the nachos - which has never happened before and is not on the menu description. The cashier told me that they charge extra for the guac & sour cream because theyre made in-house (???). The cashier appeared to be a bit confused, and somehow I knew this wouldnt end well (mistakes on my order),I was refunded for the guac and I never got any beans. When I received my food, the cheese was not fully melted, and the nacho chips were a bit hard (stale). I didnt want to send my food back, so I just dealt with the final product.Ive never had this issue in the past, so I hope this was just a fluke.
