Yard House

Went on a Tuesday night to take my Mom and kid out for a special treat. It was anything but... The star is for our server Janine who was very nice. The negative 4 stars is for the food that we were served. My Mom ordered her usual fish and chips but with mashed potatoes. The outer layer fish was burnt and smelled fishy. It was also very salty. The potatoes were sour and had a bad aftertaste. I ordered the carnivore pizza and wings. The pizza was cold and the sausage tasted weird, not fresh. The wings were hot, but even they werent good. My kid ordered the Korean cheese steak. It didnt look appetizing at all BUT my daughter ate it so... We sat near the bar and kept hearing glass break. The bartender was chucking stuff and knocking over glass. He never stopped. Liquid was pouring on to the floor and he just propped up a yellow warning spill sign and continued to chuck stuff. Guess he was having a bad night. Janine was nice enough to remove my Moms meal but the bill still came to $60 (not including tip). I wouldve been better off going to InNOut. At least my food wouldve been hot & tasted fresh. Also, whats up with the wait times and empty booths. We waited 20 min. & there were available booths. Definitely not going back...

Taco Bell
739 W Avenue P, Palmdale, CA 93550, United States
So I had a grub hub order I had to pick up from this toco bell it was 9:57pm when I pulled up it looked like possibly the inside was already closed so I decided to go through the drive thru so I get to where you order and I tell them hi I have a grub hub order for …. The girl says I'm sorry you have to come in to pick up orders and I respond well I thought you was closed inside already now mind u there was no other car in the drive thru if there was I guess I could understand but Not a single car. So I drive around and park and as I get out I see the order I'm supposed to pick up right there on the counter so I go in and before I grab the order I ask if the could ring me up a drink and they did so I grab my drink and the order as I head out there's someone walking in now plus the person who locks up the inside started to lock up so I get to my car and realize I have some garbage I need to throw away so I walk towards the door and ask the gentleman locking the door is there a trash can I can throw this away in and he says not outside so I say well can I throw it away inside real quick and he tells me now that we are closed inside I can't let u in to throw garbage away!!! Are you kidding me not 20 seconds ago I was in the store grabbing a order that u could of just grabbed and handed it thru the drive thru window then I ask to throw something away and now I can't mind u there was another customer in the store that didn't even order yet!

Taco Bell
2561 E Ave S, Palmdale, CA 93550, United States
I've been coming to this Taco Bell for quite a few years and the service has been superb however, tonight I went through the drive-through and the worker was so rude. It was obvious that she hated her job. I ordered the dragon fruit slushy medium. I told her medium. She was quiet for a second. I repeated medium. She said in a rude tone small or large. I said medium. She was silent again. I repeated medium. She shouted again small or large. I just drove up to the window to see her face because I have never had such a cold reception at this Taco Bell. I just drove past the window and looked at her because I knew she had to be new because she was so mean spirited. I then drove all the way to 47th street to the other Taco Bell where I know that I would have better service. I also don't trust her to even make my dragon fruit after that poor reception.I guess I will not be going back to this one. This manager needs to train her on good customer service because I'm sure if she keeps this nasty attitude they are gonna lose more customers….. They need to have a no star on this one…..too bad

Lemon Leaf Cafe
39800 Country Club Dr, Palmdale, CA 93551, United States
The Lemon Leaf cafe, in Lancaster, is nice. The menu is limited. Here you place your order at the counter and a server brings your food to the table. I like this type of set up when Im meeting someone and we are paying separately. It takes the awkwardness out of receiving the check. I ordered the soup of the day. It was some sort of bean soup. I cant remember the name or what my friend ordered. That is how unmemorable and unexciting the menu is at this cafe. The food was okay. Nothing special, at all. The decor was mediocre as well. The service was on the left side of okay, too. My companion ordered a cake to go and even though our plates were cleared and it was obvious we we had concluded our meal, the server never asked if she was ready for her to-go dessert. She had to go fetch it herself. Not a big deal but, it doesnt make for superior customer service. I didnt use the bathroom but, apparently a key is required. I will give them another try. It is in the only interesting area of Lancaster. It is on Lancaster Blvd. Lancaster Blvd is our Citys attempt at an attractive meeting area with quaint shops like antique stores, a candy store, a few restaurants, Theaters, museum, etc..... but, the energy does not compare to places like The Orange Circle or Downtown Long Beach. The stores are basic and not special. However, we have nowhere else around the Antelope Valley. So. I will go back, when meeting friends.

Kings Kabob

My friend and I were in Palmdale for 3 days with a large group for a seminar. We were tired and didnt want to go to dinner with the group so we sought out a Mediterranean restaurant for take-out and landed on Kings Kabob. Its a small casual place and on this particular night (Sunday) there wasnt much activity. We walked in and while perusing the menu, the owner, Nadir began to ask questions about our preferences and then made corresponding recommendations. When we werent sure about something, he offered up samples. The food here is absolutely delicious! Fresh, unique, healthy, authentic and so satisfying. I am a dip & sauce person and they had so many to choose from! Not just Tahini, but their version of Chipotle as well as the most fantastic jalapeno sauce. It was so good that I had to buy an 8 oz container of it to take home because I live 6 hours away. (Ive mixed it into humus and put it all over scrambled eggs so far.) Nadir and Iris (Iris is mother in law and chef) made us feel so at home and welcomed we ended up staying and eating at the restaurant. They are charming and the real deal. I love when business owners actually give a sh-- about their product. The love that goes into their food is palpable. The best Falafels, Baba Ganoush, Humus, Fries, chicken, rice, etc. I cannot wait to come back! Next time, we will bring the entire group.

Caribbean Corner
40112 170th St E unit a, Palmdale, CA 93591, United States
A centrally located restaurant serving authentic Puerto Rican food. The portions are family size, they make several vegetarian options, and dont they make it all fresh there in house. From their sofrito, sancocho, flan or juices. The owners are also really very sweet. A great trip at just an hour outside of L.A.

Armanis Mediterranean Cafe
40008 10th St W # 103, Palmdale, CA 93551, United States
My all time favorite Mediterranean restaurant is back in Taos, NM but Armani’s gives it a run for the money. I had the falafel plate and baklava. I ate everything except the stems of the pepperoncini!First, the falafel are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You know how bad falafel is often dry and grainy? Not these. Then, the pita. Pillowy soft with great chew. I went back and forth between making small falafel sandwiches and dipping them in the wonderful hummus and smooth-as-silk tahini that comes with the plate. Finally, all the veg was fresh and crisp, plus the peppers were nice and spicy. The baklava was the best dessert. Crispy phyllo on top, just the right amount of honey. If this is how they cook vegetarian, I’ll for sure be back for the lamb!

Meechys Cheesecakes
2211 E Palmdale Blvd Suite C, Palmdale, CA 93550, United States
My boyfriend and I went to this place for lunch yesterday. I am a huge Cheesecake lover so I was very excited. When we walked in, the place was so clean and pretty. I love how they have the place set up with the kitchen completely open, it's so fun to watch the chef cook and the smells are lovely. The service was great and our food was so fresh and tasty. I'm not a big fan of tomatoes but the tomatoes that was put on my sandwich tasted so fresh and lite.We ordered a 9 slice pack of cheesecake and I have to tell you all, it does not disappoint. This cheesecake has the traditional NY taste with its own tasty spin. We are so happy with this place we can't wait to go again and show our families!Beyond that the prices are great and staff are very friendly. The man that served us was punctual, professional, and informative. Thank you Meechys!

Jasmine Thai Restaurant
326 E Palmdale Blvd, Palmdale, CA 93550, United States
First off, despite showing up on lists of vegetarian friendly restaurants, there are only a couple of actual vegetarian dishes available. According to staff their sauces are pre-made, they use chicken stock on most dishes, and cannot change the dishes to accommodate non-meat eaters. That said, the food tasted fine if somewhat bland compared to other Thai food weve had.
