Taco Bell
2204 N Garey Ave, Pomona, CA 91767, United States
First off I would like to say I am a Taco Bell fanatic, I think most people would agree they are one of the better fast food options so I am disappointed in having to write a bad review. For starters the lady seemed pretty rude at the drive thru ordering window, which is no big deal if the following events didn't occur.1- was told I can't upsize my drink in a meal, which I know is false because I've done it many times before.2- ordered a specific menu item and didn't get the item I ordered, I was home by the time I realized and not worth going 3 miles back over a messed up item.3- the drinks were mostly carbonated and had little to no flavor syrup in them. Both were the same flavor and 1 was extremely carbonated with no flavor.4- nacho fries were cold and stiff like they've been sitting around for about 30-40 mins5- the Mexican pizza looked like someone just piled it with very little topping and spun it in the air and threw it in the box, and they didn't cut it into sections like they normally do.6- the overall interaction with the food service worker made it seem like I was an inconvenience to be ordering at the establishment which again I understand everyone has bad days, but the other issues made me think they just don't care. Cant say I've had more of a careless order at Taco Bell before so it's surprising more than anything.Overall I still will eat at Taco Bell but maybe not this location. It was very mediocre. Overall 1 star. Normally a 4-5 star place to eat for the money and service but it was littered with bad customer service and bad food preparation and quality assurance.
Pieology Pizzeria Rancho Valley, Pomona, CA

This location let us down.We love pieology pizza. Walked in looking to have a great Pizza experience.Never had an issue until tonight. At the beginning we ordered our pizza's and cheese bread. Our pizza's looked good. The service from the young lady helping us was great. We get down to the register and Roberto is there. We didn't a greetingWe didn't get a thank youWe definitely didn't get a smile.(At this point I would have given 3 stars)We ordered two cups of water. He hands us the cups, while touching the rims.*He was the money handler. So I pointed out that he touched the rims of the cups with his hands and asked for new cups. (His fingernails had dirt under them and his fingers were dirty). He instantly had a temper tantrum. He wouldn't give me the opportunity to explain why (...to wash his hands).Quickly gave us the cups and went onto the next person.Come on, Pieology. Do better. No one wants the flu.

I just went there and decided to try it out of recommendation from a friend. Prices are somewhat expensive but they do offer a decent selection of bagels, coffee and sandwiches. They’re specializing in vegetarian meals so I bought their veggie burger. It’s pretty interesting they use a sourdough bread to cover up the patty and it works quite well. Although the bread was a bit tough and overly toasted, the patty is really tasty along with the simple melted cheddar cheese on top of it. It’s $14 after tax but the portion is decent. Not too bad for a first try and the interior is quite nice. It’s Slow during the day. So unless you’re meeting a friend or a date, better to do a takeout. They’re definitely one of the few nice vegetarian restaurants around the area. Just be prepared to spend some extra money especially if you eat inside.

Forget what you think you know about a good burger is, and then order a Bourbon Burger. WARING: This is burger is addictive and delicious AF! In our most recent visit to our new favorite restaurant we tried the famous bourbon burger, smoothie, elote, and cookies!Firstly lets talk about Gorgansons very proud and friendly owner Mark. He was amazing we not only felt the love, we could taste it!The Bourbon Burger was something to remember the sweet bourbon sauce, and spicy bite of serrano chili, and the grilled onions! The burger had me wanting more, more, MORE!The elote was a nice treat to from what I saw my daughter stole the entire plate! She absolutely devoured it, although shes only 3 she gave me the thumbs up on the corn for her review. The smooth was perfect for this hot summer day to help cool us down. My son and daughter loved the smoothie, but adored the cookies. Chunky gooey and just so damn perfect! I as well as my family can not wait to drive back for the food. Oh yeah I drove from Rialto to Pomona just for Gorgansons!!!
Borreguitas
987 S Garey Ave, Pomona, CA 91766, United States
Ive read a handful of the reviews for Borreguitas. Some of them say: best vegan Mexican food in town, still open for business during quarantine, extremely friendly service. All of these are true. I would add that they serve the best Mexican food for vegans/vegetarians in Southern California period.Taking price, quality, and quantity of food into consideration, I would venture to say that it is a no-brainer to eat here if puzzled for somewhere to order from. For the layman vegetarian or veteran Mexican food connoisseur, Borreguitas is a benchmark for local restaurants.Thank you for being there in these trying times Borreguitas. We all appreciate you.

Excellent food, very clean. The Kobe burger is delicious. Menu changes regularly. Walnut shrimp tacos, grilled chicken sandwich, salads. Great pastries and breakfast items with stumptown coffee. Vegan and vegetarian choices as well. Very friendly staff. Great addition to downtown where everyone keeps opening up Mexican food restaurants this is a nice change of pace. Closes at 3pm so breakfast and lunch only.
Restaurant At Kellogg Ranch
3801 W Temple Ave Building 79-102, Pomona, CA 91768, United States
They have a very limited but interesting menu. Check the menu beforehand if you have any dietary restrictions, especially if you are vegetarian/ vegan. The Service was quite prompt. The views from the restaurant were great. I didn’t enjoy the food so much and would say it was just average. The desserts were too sugary. The bread in the main course was a bit burnt. Make sure you make a prior reservation.
Curry Time

Ive been looking for a place just like an express Indian restaurant just like Curry Hut in fullerton. Soooo many places didnt have a taste that they have it. BUT!! This place has it and the taste is even better with some spice in their chicken Tikka masala. Here my thoughts.Pros: the taste is really good, and the chicken Tikka Masala has a great heat and great Indian curry taste. Service is great, the gentleman and lady are very friendly and the place is very clean. Price is reasonable, things used to be 2 dollars cheaper but since the prices of ingredients got higher, 10.99, 12.99 are very reasonable combo prices. Oh!! And most important, the Nan is very soft and it doesnt seem to get hard at all. Dudes you, if you love Nan Plz~ try this places Nan, it is sooo good soft and flavorful :) In addition, they serve the food with microwave safe container. :DCons: my only pro will be the sound of the vent is little too loud? But it doesnt bother me too much, but it is what it is. Other than that, so far so pros.Overall, this place will be your a go to express Indian restaurant and you will love it with their flavorful food. I definitely will become one of their regular customers, I will always visit here whenever I crave for Indian food for cozy food.
Luchador Brewing Company

We had dinner at this restaurant because it was across the parking lot from our hotel. We were so glad we did! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Really good selection of beer. The food was excellent. We had the gordita pollo asado taco. At first, we thought it didn’t look very big, but the shell was not your usual taco shell. It was masa that, while shaped like a taco shell, was thicker and more substantial. The shell was stuffed with the pollo asado mix, cheese, lettuce, etc. It was plenty big enough. One of us is a vegetarian, so had the nachos with veggie beans as well as the guac with chips. We added a side of frijoles for me (the beans had meat), and they were some of the best beans I have ever had. We would have liked a better selection of salsa but what they had was tasty. Oh yes, the beer was really delicious! The interior is open concept seating, but people seemed to pay attention to safe spacing. There was also a large outdoor seating area with misters. Lots of people out there even though it was a 100+ day. If you like Lucha Libre there were three TVs showing videos of that. This is an excellent choice for lunch, dinner, beer; a really fun and tasty time out. We wish we had more reasons to go to this area as we would definitely go back.
