The food was exceptional. We were a party of five and shared dishes. I could choose from everything on the menu as a vegetarian. I ? ved the tofu dish, eggplant, and string beans dishes. I love this restaurant and will go back soon.
Lemonade Restaurant
781 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States
The concept of Lemonade is like an upscale cafeteria along with higher prices. There are sections of marketplace, leafy greens, land and sea, sandwiches, and hot dishes. You are encouraged to mix and match between the categories to make your meal. There are so many options in each of the categories that it can be overwhelming to make a decision, something that I dont like. There are about 30 options to choose from. Add that with the lunch crowd, confusing layout, and there is a large amount of confused people in a little area. The choices displayed looked good and I chose a buttermilk baked chicken sandwich with a side of truffle mac and cheese. To drink I opted for the carrot ginger juice and my meal was about $18. The sandwich was ok. The bread was thick and dry, but the chicken was tasty. The truffle mac had good flavor, but the noodles were overcooked and mushy. All in all the meal was ok and definitely not worth the cost. But the staff are very friendly and accommodating to new diners. They help walk you through the process and will answer your questions. You are also encouraged to sample the dishes as you move along, which is nice to help decide what you order. The indoor seating can get crowded and clustered since it is right next to the food area, but the outdoor seating is open and airy. There are heaters that will warm the area to combat the windy SF weather.
Lemonade Restaurant

Update: August 2020My initail review stands HOWEVER... I would NOT recommend ordering food online from here. The first time I ordered online my order was incorrect and they gave me burnt cookies and the wrong kind (which I was allergic to) even though I ordered the cookie dough, to prevent exatcly that. THEN, they were nice enough to issue me a $15 coupon code but in order to redeem it I had to order online AGAIN! Make that make sense please? So anyway, I order online again today to use the coupon code and sure enough my order is wrong and they had to remake everything and throw away food. Like last time, the wrong food unfortunately included things I was allergic to otherewise I would have taken it as it was. Also they were out of the lemonade I whad ordere and instead of letting me know, they took it upon themselves to give me a differnt one instead of waiting for me to pick up the food and let me choose. On top of that, no one even said anything about it until I asked if that was the lemonade I ordered (because it didnt look like it).The staff was kind, and I politely expressed my frustration while being thankful to them for fixing the mistakes. For the price of the food, Id like my order to be correct. Were talking almost $20 for a sandwich, tiny side salad and a lemonade. Will not be ordering online from here again. Ill just go inside like I usually do.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Original ReviewBest option for healthy fast food. Fast food meaning its quick. Lot of salads, sandwiches, hot food and of course lemonades! Chocolate chip cookies are so, so good and they sell out fast.Only downside is it is pretty pricey. 4 à la carte hot-food items cost me $32 Also the tuna, chicken and salmon are served cold...ick. So Ive only had the ahi tuna as a take home item.
Enjoy Vegetarian
839 Kearny St, San Francisco, CA 94108, United States
I recently visited Enjoy Vegetarian in San Francisco and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. As a vegan, I am always on the lookout for great plant-based options and Enjoy Vegetarian did not disappoint. We started with the vegan spring rolls, which were crispy and filled with delicious vegetables. Next up were the dumplings, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. And finally, we tried the fried won tons, which were a real standout - crispy on the outside and stuffed with a tasty filling. What I loved most about Enjoy Vegetarian, besides the amazing food, was how fast the service was. We were in and out in no time, but didnt feel rushed at all. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting.Overall, I would say that Enjoy Vegetarian is the best vegan restaurant in San Francisco. The food is top-notch and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious, plant-based cuisine in the Bay Area.
Thai Idea Vegetarian
710 Polk St, San Francisco, CA 94109, United States
Thai Idea Vegetarian is a gem for anyone who loves Thai food and wants to enjoy it in a vegetarian or vegan way. The restaurant is cozy and clean, with friendly and attentive staff. The menu is extensive and creative, offering a variety of dishes that are made with fresh and quality ingredients. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Some of the dishes that I recommend are:V0. Pad Thai: This is a classic dish that is done very well here. The rice noodles are pan-fried with tofu, bean sprouts, chives, grounded peanuts, and egg. The sauce is tangy and sweet, and the dish is garnished with lime wedges. The dish is vegan and contains nuts.V. Green Curry: This is a spicy and aromatic dish that is served with bell pepper, bamboo shoot, eggplant, string bean, baby corn, and basil. The curry is creamy and rich, and the vegetables are tender and flavorful. The dish is vegan and vegetarian, and goes well with jasmine rice.V. Pumpkin Curry: This is a unique and delicious dish that is made with pumpkin, tofu, bell pepper, and basil in a red curry sauce. The pumpkin is soft and sweet, and the tofu is crispy and chewy. The sauce is creamy and spicy, and the dish is vegan and vegetarian.Thai Idea Vegetarian is a great place to satisfy your cravings for Thai food without compromising your dietary preferences. The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 2:30 pm and 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The restaurant is located on 710 Polk St, San Francisco, CA 94109, near the Civic Center BART station. You can order online for pickup or delivery, or make a reservation for dine-in. Thai Idea Vegetarian is one of the best Thai restaurants in SF, and I highly recommend it!
Ananda Fuara

Our party of 4 visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening. We did not have to wait for a table, but the restaurant was mostly full. While only 1 in our party was a vegetarian, we were all eager to try several things off the menu. I will say that everything we had was great, and the picky eater in our group declared it the best restaurant we had visited in San Francisco (and being on day 5 of our trip, that was saying something). We thought our meals were moderately priced. Given the chance, we would go again

If there’s one vegan/vegetarian restaurant in San Francisco that I’d go to every single time, it would be Wildseed.Absolutely love the refreshments (nonalcoholic & alcoholic) choices and their mouthwatering food!
Firefly Restaurant
4288 24th St, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States
This restaurant was the perfect cozy dinner for a friend’s birthday. Two of us were vegetarian and the other 3 are enthusiastic meat eaters and we were all quite happy with our food. We started off with bread and yummy spread apps. The bread was great and spread was a hummus-y generous portion, which one friend finished off on its own after the bread was gone because she liked it so much. We also had beet salad and brussel sprout apps- beet salad didn’t have ton of beets, but was fresh and good, and the Brussels were perfect and had lots of parm on top. I got the chickpea griddlecakes for my main and they were good. My friend got the enchiladas and liked them, and another person got lamb and was quite pleased. All my friends split two bottles of wine and were pleased with the selection. Our waitress was great. Highlights: the amazing s’more dessert and the adorable comfy settings of the restaurant.
Indian Oven Restaurant
233 Fillmore St, San Francisco, CA 94117, United States
Delicious vegetarian options! We had the Navratan Korma, Saag paneer, and chana masala with rice and naan. My favourite dish was the Korma, but all were delicious. Friendly, fast service and well priced. I also learned it’s the oldest Indian restaurant in San Francisco! Highly recommend for dine in or takeout.
