CreAsian Flavors of Vietnam

This used to be my GO TO Vietnamese restaurant ever since it opened. We followed them from being regulars for years at their previous restaurant where we were AVID REGULARS going once to twice every week. I stopped going months ago! The egg rolls in the noodle salad keeps getting smaller, many times they have been served cold. The prices keep rising and the service is utterly bad and unpleasant. After following the restaurant and owners for years they still treat me rudely as if they are annoyed we are in their restaurant. The last time I was there was reason I finally decided to leave after being treated rudely for so many years. The waiter who must have been relatively new misordered and I didn't get the dish I ordered. The owner was upset and blamed me for misordering (even though I have ordered the SAME two dishes twice a week for the past 6 years!). He rudely said it was FINE and that he would eat it so it would not go to waste. It was that day I decided I had had enough of being treated rudely and I would drive to the next town if I had to to find a new Vietnamese restaurant. And I did! I have been a regular and very happy weekly customer at Da Nang. Their food quality is always good and consistent and they are always happy to see me and their entire staff always recognizes me and knows exactly what I like to order. The owner and all the staff are always sweet and orders come quickly and the restaurant is very clean and the quality of the food is consistent and top notch in my opinion. I don't go anywhere else now.

I was skeptical of the high reviews, but they’re well deserved. The grilled pork bahn mi was one of the best I’ve had. The flavor was balanced: not overloaded with mayo or vegetables. I finished my kids’ pho, and it was really good too. I live in the South Bay, surrounded by Vietnamese restaurants, and this place is better than most.

My visit to Cre Asian Vietnamese Restaurant in Brentwood was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we stepped in, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and attentive service, setting the tone for a delightful dining experience. The restaurant itself boasted an impeccable level of cleanliness, which made us feel comfortable and reassured about the quality of our meal.Speaking of the meal, the dishes we tried were absolutely sublime. The Basil Chicken was perfectly seasoned, with just the right balance of flavors that tantalized our taste buds. The Eggplant with Tofu was equally impressive, offering a deliciously rich and satisfying taste that made us savor each bite. Both dishes were fresh, aromatic, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.Overall, Cre Asian Vietnamese Restaurant excels in every aspect—from service to ambiance to the culinary delights they serve. If you’re in Brentwood and craving Vietnamese cuisine, this place is a must-visit. A perfect 5-star experience!

It shares the problems that all In-N-Out Burgers have, due to some strange iconic popularity Buzz that circulates around the restaurants. You will wait over an hour in the Drive-Thru no matter what time of day or night you go there. I have seen their drive-thru backed up from 30 minutes before they open till well past when they should have closed. Theres a good chance your hamburger will not be fully cooked all the way to the center even if you specify you want it well done. On average the Patty spends less than 1 minute on the grill. If theyre particularly backed up it may spend even less than that, and after watching the guy running the grill part of the problem is how they do it they will put cold meat onto a grill right where they just picked up a burger, the metal is not had time to heat up enough to cook another hamburger. In general if youve never been to In and Out, and you want to experience it cuz you came to California by all means go there enjoy a double-double order animal style fries go wild. Enjoy it for what it is. Its a basic Burger chain that has a kitchen gimmick that they use, which is to somewhat reminisce of the old days of Drive-In and drive through restaurants of the 1950s and 60s. The food is about as good as what you would have gotten at McDonalds in the early 1980s. Other than the hamburger patties arent Frozen dont expect it theyre not processed. The fries kind of waxy and Neely yeah theyre fresh the guy just cut the potato you can see that. But thats not how you make french fries any chef will tell you that. Its just another advertising kids gimmick that the fries have only existed for a few minutes. A lot of people love it and well go there a couple times a week. When it first opened where I lived I went a few times but after Ive been into a raw hamburger that kind of killed it for me. I havent gone back in about a year and a half and I might if theres no line in the Drive-Thru. You sometimes get better service going inside but thats going to be hit or miss depending how backed up they are expect the place to be noisy loaded with people, and just a big ball of confusion. But after all thats what youre paying for when you go there just like going to any other friend restaurant you pay for the environment that they generate for you.
