The service wasn’t good they never came around to see if we needed anythingWhen we placed our order they forgot one of our plates it never came out so we cancelled it. The food that did come out didn’t taste too good it was bland and the lettuce was yellow. If you want better tasting Vietnamese food go across the street to Fontana pho that place has been there for years and the food tastes good. This was the first and last time that I come to this restaurant.

I hardly leave bad reviews for places, but people need to know the truth. You would be enabling shady business practices and get yourself sick by spending your money here. I worked here and hardly ate here because every time I did Id throw up. They reuse their food, dishes arent scrubbed, and chefs dont wear gloves. When the restaurant was surveyed for grading, points were taken off for meat that was left out. The chef had the food inspector wait outside while he rushed the other chefs to wear gloves. Some of you who are regulars might recognize me. But for those who dont, I was a server here. I served food, cleaned tables, swept, mopped, cleaned restrooms, washed dishes, made the schedule, hosted, and provided all duties in the chain of service. However, your tips were not going to me. The tips go to the chefs and the dishwasher. Tips were divided by the amount of workers and the amount of hours worked. If I earned $40 in tips that day, it would be divided by 4 (4 workers) so $10, and then divide that by 2 because servers only work half days. Chefs were obligated to work entire days, so of course they got bigger tips if it was based on the hours worked. On a day I went home with $8, a chef would get $20 even though I provided all service to those tables. I wouldnt have minded sharing if the chefs didnt yell at us servers in front of customers (most of the time, for mistakes they made). I wouldnt have even minded if they at least helped. But if you look around the restaurant, youll see chefs on their phone or on a laptop. There are other reviews to prove this. Training was unpaid and I worked 10 hour days sometimes without receiving overtime pay. Breaks also didnt exist here. Id have to stop eating to help people. This place grosses $30,000 of revenue monthly, while only paying chefs once a month and paying servers $11 an hour while taking their tips. Please think twice before supporting this type of business.

‘Been out the whole day with my kids and to end our day right and free from stress - around 630 pm., we decided to eat at this resto. No doubt that food is great—?But service wise and treatment from the staff - No comment but I'll elaborate our experience.Every time we go here - we experience the scenario below; however, I'm trying to observe more as I don't want to be unfair with my review but tonight is the night — I am so done coming to this place.Having two kids in tow is a bit challenge and upon entering a resto such as this-you expect staff with smiling faces and a welcome greeting.Welcome greeting none-☹️Smiling faces-yes to other costumers ? Super yes ?us? None ☹️We just sat and one staff came to ask for our order-as to my surprised, it was fast and I appreciate it; however, we were not given a chance to look and choose- well, we ended up ordering big bowl of soup and pieces of egg rolls. We are Asians and we don't eat a lot. After we ordered, I saw the disappointment on the face of the staff as we ordered only 2 from their pages of menu book. And, the man who took our ordered-never came back to our table - very unprofessional ?After a while, the egg rolls arrived and we were courteous to say “thank you” as I believe that if you treat people well, they will treat you well too.We said thank you a lot of times and yet, no good treatment - ☹️I got two kids - a ten year old and a toddler, we asked for fork - they gave one fork ☹️Soup was hot (of course) and to make my toddler eat it is by serving it in a small bowl so I asked for bowls - they gave one ☹️ and actually I already chose to ask from the son of the owner - I was thinking that he'll treat us right especially that I have kids. Yes? No, we waited for a long time and he just put it on the table without any signal. ? my daughter just decided to use one of the two napkins they're provided us as her plate. ?As I was serving food to my toddler, my daughter was trying to get noodles - she knew that if you're in a “noodle restaurant,” they offered scissors - none ? I was so disappointed already so I did not bother to ask anymore.I saw an old staff who would smile and laugh to customers and would not even look at us.Why?!?! Are we not welcome to enter the resto ?Why?!?! Because we don't order a lot. Remember guys, not all your customers can consume plates of foods and bowls of noodles. We only eat if we got no time to prepare as I have kids to take care of.This is not your issue - yes!!!! But, have a decency to respect the rights of kids. Have them eat comfortably by serving extra small plates or bowls - you don't serve them and if the parents ask for them, you don't like it. Whaaaat!!!!If we are not welcome - then let us know - we are so willing to leave your place. Be professional - approach me and tell me “you're not welcome here, please leave.” Don't let my kids feel your unprofessionalism-it's really obvious.I wanted to leave the place without paying it but I know better- I can't be rude in front of my kids.As I remember, there was one family who got very angry at this restaurant (I couldn't understand why) and even reported it to a agency- tonight I understand clearly-as clear as the crystal the reason behind why——Oh maybe this is why-we were with this family eating at this resto-but, do we deserve to be treated this way. Come on!!!!I hope this review serves as an eye opener to the owner, staff, and management.Treat your customers fairly. We were wearing decent clothes — not fancy but decent. And whatever we ordered for-we are responsible to pay for it.We don't order and pay much to please you guys and we will end up wasting the food— you know better!!!!!Oh well - in the middle of our dinner, I told my daughter we will bring our own bowls and stuff next time but then I realized-after a series of issues such as this - no! There are other restaurants out there who knows customer service very well.

I was welcomed upon walking in the door. Ordered Vietnamese hot coffee with condensed milk. Big T bowl of Pho, fried spring rolls. The coffee came in just the cup, not the slow drip you see at most Vietnamese restaurants. The bowl of Pho came right after. Tasted the broth first, and it was the standard bone broth with not much flavor. Squeezed the lime and added basil, didnt help it much. Poured what I thought was black vinegar into broth but ended up being soy sauce. Only saracha was offered as hot sauce, no chili oil.The egg rolls were very greasy. Overall a very boring lunch, not much different than what you get in the area.

KONA'S MONTRA IS “WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE”I've taken my clothes to Kona Cleaners for a little less than a year and was happy with their service.I decided to bring a brand-new designer shirt in for specialty cleaning. Considering how delicate my Burberry garment is, I expressed my concern and was told that Kona offers couture cleaning which is extremely gentle and meant for high end brands. After picking up my item, I noticed the buttons on the left sleeve were shattered (the material they are made from is Mother of Pearl). Upset with this, I went back to complain. I was informed by the store manager Rosa that they would fix the issue. However, it would take up to 6 weeks. This was unacceptable, as I planned to wear this to an event which was imminent.I investigated Burberry's repair service and went out of my way to take my item in to get it repaired ASAP. Kona's General Manager (GM) informed me she would send it in herself, but I did not feel comfortable as it was damaged under their care previously. At Burberry, I told the representative that I would like the replacements to be match the current set of buttons (quality, design, and material). They informed me that they would do their best. Upon picking it up 1 week later, I saw they were unable to fulfill my request (not Burberry's fault), and instead replaced the damaged buttons with what they had that was most similar. Anyone within apparel industry knows that it is the nuanced things like this that really make or break a piece.I reached out to the store manager in hopes of settling this civilly. She then forwarded me back to the GM. During our phone conversation, the GM again offered to take my shirt to Burberry to replace all the buttons so it would match. I told her that was unacceptable because it is not OK to try and settle this by replacing the set with buttons of cheaper material such as plastic. She then asked what can be done to rectify the situation. I informed her I would like a replacement (I am happy to let them keep the damaged shirt). She informed me that Kona Cleaners does not take responsibility for damaged hardware (buttons, zippers, etc) and are only responsible for tears as it is not financially feasible. Everything they've offered beyond the service is just a courtesy. She also assumed the buttons were made from plastic, which I corrected her by referring the website which indicates the material of the shirt (Item Name: Burberry Check Silk Georgette Oversized Tie Neck Shirt). My assumption thus far is that the proper precautions were not taken to ensure the protection of my clothing before putting it into the dry-cleaning machine. I discovered it is common knowledge within this business that dry cleaners should evaluate the type, rarity, and fragility of the buttons (particularly ones made from MOP, Corozo Nut, or etc) and then take the necessary steps to protect them like wrapping them in heavy aluminum foil or specialty designed Velcro covers. The best cleaners will even go as far as removing the buttons before the process and re-stitching them in after cleaning and press. Again, due to the level of negligence at Kona's, I firmly believe Kona did not take these steps. With all things said, we did not come to an agreement. I am unfortunately now having to pursue resolution by working with 3rd party labs like the DLI to assess damage as well as consumer protection agencies to file complaints. I am also speaking with a specialist in reviewing the CA Laws on Drycleaner Obligations regarding hardware responsibility.

About last week my gf and I were on our way to go bowling until we where approached by this Asian women trying to promote this restaurant across Bowlero. It was so humbling to see despite her broken English I can see her trying her hardest which I admire the most. I told her we will go after bowling unfortunately they were only open until 9 pm. So we went the next day. The food took long because it's freshly made it's not like your ordinary Asian restaurant where the food is already cooked and sitting on a heating tray. I order the Ginger chicken with green onions, Kung Pao Chicken and Veggies Spring rolls. everything was delicious including the Tai Tea Boba, if authenticity was a flavor that's how I would describe it. Be careful with the home made sriracha. I was warned by one of the cooks in restaurant it was spicy and it was! in a good way though. Overall, the food was flavorful, seasoned, chicken cooked perfectly, veggie rolls were crunchy, vegetables were juicy. On the other hand, the customer service is a 10/10. Each employee we spoke to seemed very genuine, caring and most importantly happy. I did appreciate them advising us to place and order on the phone ahead so we wouldn't wait so long. Honestly guys I had a wonderful experience. I'm coming again no only for the customer service but the food is fantastic. Shoutout the woman who was passing out the menu in parking lot. I know it can be depressing when people ignore you or shut you down before you can finish your sentence. Just know you were the reason why my gf and I showed up to your restaurant. Enchale Ganas!!!

Tealove is now my new favorite for Boba. I used to go to another place very similar to this one and very close on Valley blvd. I dont want to list the name, but every time I went there. They made me feel very uncomfortable with their attitudes, like it bugged them when I ordered my drinks. I like to see a smile, not a frown. So, one day, I walk into Tealove, and I actually get greeted by an employee who actually seemed happy to work there. So now this is the place where I take my money too. The drinks are great and they have a nice variety of drinks, very colorful ones too. The sizes arent limited like other places. They have small to jumbo size. Tea Love also offers different levels of sweetness to your drinks from 0 percent sweet to I believe its 110 percent sweet for your drink. My favorite drink is the Jazime Honey Green Tea with Lychee jelly. In jumbo size. Lol
