For sure, this is a hidden gem!Our experience was great, beginning to end!We were greeted by Luan, the owner, as soon as we entered. He made small talk with us even though they were clearly busy fulfilling orders. He was very friendly and treated us with so much kindness! The overall service was phenomenal!Banh Mi Zon has some of the best banh-mi Ive ever had! The bread they make and use for their banh-mi sandwiches is soft, fresh, well-risen, light crumb, and very delicious! If you eat a lot of banh-mi like I do, you know that the quality of the bread can either make or break a sandwich. Here, you wont have to worry. This place has top-notch banh-mi bread!!! I havent found superior quality like this anywhere else! The meat was flavored well and very tender, and veggies were fresh and crunchy! It was all proportioned well.I got the beef bulgogi banh-mi and highly recommend it! My sister had the spicy pork belly banh-mi, and my husband ordered the bbq pork. They both loved what they ordered and also raved about it!The restaurant was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Vibes were great. Really loved the simple and sleek design of the place! And the self order kiosks were awesome!Literally, there are too many good things to say about Banh Mi Zon! Well definitely be returning whenever were nearby. ☺️ Thanks for an amazing and memorable meal!

I think this restaurant is rated highly because there are very few or no authentic korean/vietnamese restaurants in Marin, let alone Mill Valley. Food is truly subpar, Ive only enjoyed the atmosphere when theyre properly staffed and friendly. Would not recommend.

It was fine. Its a little pricey for typical bar fare and its not like the food was super high quality. It took a while for anyone working behind the bar to even acknowledge us, let alone give us menus. Once we finally got our menus, its like suddenly we were visible and a bartender came over to take our orders, about ten seconds after we got them. The food is just okay and a little on the expensive side. $18 for a hamburger and french fries that probably cost them no more than a $1 to actually make is a little ridiculous. If it was like top quality ground beef, sure. This was probably your basic chuck. The fries had basically no flavor, which is a little mind boggling. I could see that they were seasoned, they just didnt have any flavor to them. The baos were actually pretty good. The bread was soft and warm and the filling wasnt bad.The cocktail and beer prices are about standard for a bar in the Bay area, so no real complaints there. All in all, it was a rather forgettable experience and perfect for being paired with Holiday Inn. Its somewhere you go because its not really possible to go anywhere else and everything is just ho hum and generic. Absolutely nothing about this place stands out.
