Oasis Vietnamese Cuisine

Glad to find good quality Vietnamese restaurant in this area. They have a pretty extensive menu (including steamed rice rolls). The service was good and the place was bright and airy (if a bit cramped).

I consider myself a connoisseur of Vietnamese food. I love trying new restaurants, especially ones that focus on spring rolls and bánh mì! Dinosaurs knows what it does and does it exceptionally well. I loved my meal and Id go back again and again and again! I highly recommend this restaurant. Its worth the wait!

The menu is pretty standard for a Vietnamese restaurant, but the food is great! All fresh ingredients are used and prepared quickly and consistently. The owner and her daughter were so friendly - making you feel welcome and comfortable. The dining room is tidy and clean, though not pretty, but theres counter seating that stretches across the front window where you could enjoy your meal and people-watch.
Soul Grind Coffee Roasters
5400 CA-1, Pacifica, CA 94044, United States
This is a conflicted review. On one hand I sincerely adore this place, and on the other I wish it were less crowded. This is to say that I am selfish, opting to intentionally nerf my review with the caviat of wanting to reclaim the space.I come here to spend time and money to chill, read, write, glare, and charm, and the floor plan as it is cuts through the soul of the store like an atmospheric river.I cant help but also feel for the staff who have to cross the river to buss tables, and the occasional battle royal that is seating.Again I do love it. The Thomas the tank engine lookin bean cooker right out in the open. The fireplace. Cool mountain bike. Watching surfers. THE FOOD! And of course the brew. Its truly great. But the floorplan is something of an issue that a skilled architect could really nail down, perhaps to the degree that Soul Grind could be both visually iconic and efficient without sacrificing the ambiance. Its as though this place wants to remain a hang out, and yet it suffers from its own popularity by being too delicious not to drive a crowd. I believe it could strike a balance between comfort and economy, if that were its intention.Thats admittedly ambitious and opinionated. Maybe start with the outdoor seating area? I mean it could be better. Or maybe Im really just asking for my own little table in the loft above the register. Thatd be peak. But what do I know? Thats just like, my opinion man.
Eureka Square
20 Eureka Dr, Pacifica, CA 94044, United States
In this visit, I only went to the US Bank branch at Eureka Square and their Branch Manager, Lali Tsiksrichvili, was so very helpful. I had opened my US Bank account inside the Safeway on Gellert Blvd. in South San Francisco, however, that branch counter was closed recently, and on the most recent visit, there was no longer even a US Bank ATM there. I will now consider adopting the Eureka Square branch as my main Branch due to Lali's helpful attitude. The other Branch, near my home, is in Half Moon Bay, and although l was the only customer inside wishing to make a cash withdrawal, and despite there being three people visible working at the Half Moon Bay branch, the clerk at the window looked up and said “just a minute” and continued with something she was working on. After waiting two minutes she was still shuffling papers at her window and her male supervisor did not offer to assist me either, so l asked her how much more time would it be and she replied “just a minute” to which l replied you said that the first time. Still l waited, more impatiently than before, and not wanting to miss my doctors appointment in Redwood City, l went around the corner to the San Mateo Credit Union where l was waited on immediately and went on my way. The US Bank branch in Half Moon Bay recently had an incident in front of their ATM out front, where a deranged homeless man chased a local woman causing her to fall down in her attempt to escape. The location has no security guard, and l had seen one in the past, at the Eureka Square branch so that also gives me more confidence when banking there. I finally closed my Wells Fargo account about two years ago because US Bank offered a free Senior checking account. In this day and age, it was nice to find a bank willing to offer Seniors a deal. Again, the branch manager of the Eureka Square's branch is The Best! If you are looking for excellent customer service, visit this US Bank branch!
