Used to go to Le Cheval in Oakland, but found this place only two minutes away from home and what a happy surprise to find a Vietnamese restaurant in Pittsburg to give Le Cheval a run for its money, In my opinion Viet Palace is the best Vietnamese food in Pittsburg area.

First of all I just want to say that it is unfair for you to say that I was rude to your employee.. I even gave him some tip..He even ring a bell. I just wondered why my food was the last (because when I left at 12:55PM there is zero as in NO more customer) to be served while I'm 2 customer ahead of the rest of the customer today. My order is Lumpia and Fried Potsticker only. And saying dont comeback anymore.... does the owner knows how you manage unsatisfied customer. I hope you do something about it. I know that there is a cooking time and there are customers ahead of me but I observed that nobody is preparing my food until one of the staff looked at the receipt and starting to cook after 20 mins of waiting. Then when all customers were gone I decided to ask for my order and the cashier said that they are still preparing for my food.. all I said is forget about it then left... of course am upset and trying to just forget my order. Then when the lady went out of the store while am driving along the store she shouted here I will throw it away she literally throw away my food in a bag and saying DON'T COMEBACK here anymore. Then another guy shouting dont comeback here. Then when I called and look for the manager and starting to explain why I left... she abruptly said if you want to comeback and argue about it as what I have said Dont comeback anymore and hanged up the phone. Not so fair. I know that you dont care about loosing 1 customer but this is not right. Maybe you could have said sorry about your order that was missed...I know the effort of the cashier and appreciate him so much to follow me to give my order but am so upset but not in the mood to argue the reason why I left.

I love the variety of stores in the area, you have the Latin American grocery store which has a fresh hot foods stand inside with some pretty darn good burritos and dinner plates. You may not be able to fins everything like you would at a traditional grocery store but the quality is a1 and it has a nice large meat counter with just about every meat you could want and the fruits and vegetables are always fresh! The laundromat rarely has machines that dont work properly and theyre pretty good about giving money returns. The dollar tree is one of the best in contra Costa as far as the variety, quantity and cleanliness and the staff is helpful especially the security guard who has been there forever. The subway sandwiches store is pretty good as far a subways go. The gas station has fair prices and is rarely crowded and when it is there wont be a long wait, no car wash is the only complaint. They have a handful of other restaurants, an Indian style pizzeria, a restaurant that sales fried fish and such, and a few other stores like the nail shop and Asian convenience store and a liquor store. Love going to the area because there are more stores across the street and I can find almost anything I need besides clothing!
