Really impressed with the quality of the food, not to mention the fast and friendly service. The portions were generous, just enough left over to take home for a small snack. The pho and bun were both great, but the salmon and rice was the real standout. I honestly dont think I could have purchased the ingredients for the cost of the meal, plus it was seasoned and cooked to perfection.I dont know if there is another Vietnamese restaurant in Ramona, but this will be my go-to when in the area.

I went here with a friend based on their choice. I have never been before. I had an appetizer based on their recommendation, which was some sort of shrimp wrap with peanut sauce, and I would agree that it was okay. It was a cold appetizer and decent, but it wasnt a WOW experience.As far as the service goes I will start out by saying that I realize this may be a culture thing, but when I go to a restaurant i go with the intention to enjoy my food as well as the person I am with and I didnt appreciate the server reaching in front of my food while eating to remove dishes off the table from my friends almost finished meal, without asking first if they were done or if they could take anything away. It left me feeling as if my patronage wasnt appreciated, and I was being rushed out the door.We definitely didnt stay for dessert if they even offered any there.The atmosphere was okay. But it was the person I was with that made it better, not the establishment.Overall, I would say that this might be more of a take out vs. a come and dine with us experience. Its definitely not a place to go to sit, be social, and dine. But if you are in a rush to get out, eat something real fast, and then be on your way, well then, this may very well be the place for you.

Generally a quaint coffee shop, but horribly passive-aggressive customer servicei ordered w this younger hispanic male, and after he asked my name, he was like, “robert…………” kind of like robert what? like, idk who u r?like okay, idk who u r either? goes both ways. also, can u name all of the children of the rothschilds? probably not. not every rich person is in the entertainment industry, and not every rich person wants to be known… different industries are lucrative, not just being a hollywood puppy with no true forms of freedom of expressions nor choices.what a bizarre insecure male. i get that comment a lot from people in poor situations and environments that i waltz into. “but who r u?” like, sorry, did i trigger you without doing anything? that was easy ?i wished he worked at my dad's café or, even, restaurant in point loma… i wouldve had to greatest satisfaction in his termination.maybe if you guys treated people with respect, especially as working-class individuals, you would be busier.btw, egg nog chai lattés should not come with espresso… what a bunch of skilled baristas ??cheers!
