Used to be great before COVID, until they got rid of the omelette line with Adrian (which was the best part) and the make-your-own-smoothie bar. None of the workers there speak English; I dont mean they speak it as a second language, they dont know the words for knife or cup and will just respond in Spanish, which makes it really hard to communicate if something runs out. They have huge, elaborate, in-your-face displays for Chinese New Year and Pride Month, okay great, but nothing for Memorial Day. Disappointing and has gone almost more downhill than SF, needs new management.

We had the Filipino pancit, orange chicken, lemon grass tofu, and fried rice. The orange chicken veggie meat was rubbery & stale & sauce wasn't orange in color or in taste. The bell peppers and onion it was made with was barely cooked. Tastes like veggies and veggie meat was warmed in microwave & then doused with sauce. Lemon grass tofu was drowned with what tasted like the same sauce as “orange chicken” There was no lemongrass taste in the dish. Same deal with the veggies as in the orange chicken. Pancit was mostly onions with a sprinkle of thin noodles. It was not Filipino pancit in taste or texture. The fried rice was barely covered with/soy sauce. It was mostly white rather than the dark brown color you're used to seeing with fried rice. One good thing I have to say about this place is that the service was very friendly which is not common in Asian restaurants (in my experience)Good customer service not so good food.

We came to the shopping area to spend some hours and occasionally got hungry. Checked for healthy and not overpriced food in the area and discovered this place. We came to the place and could directly order as it was not crowded. We ordered two Argentinian salad bowls - one with lax and one with steak - and dined in. We paid somewhat above 30 usd. We took a place outside. The food arrived very fast. The food was very tasty and fresh. The portion could be a bit bigger but generally it was enough. I liked the combination of rice and quinoa, I found it unusual and very tasty.A pleasant surprise is that the food is served on real plates and with real silverware, which is such a relief after all the plastic and paper that you get in other places. The design of the place is very nice both inside and outside: the combination of bright colors makes you feel happy, while wooden elements add some natural touch. I liked their vases with succulents placed in the exterior, it made the place look cosy.I could definitely recommend this place.

Im normally not a fan of chain restaurants but this was a very pleasant surprise! My husband and I decided to try it after walking by and seeing the beautiful patio setting and very fresh and tasty-looking food - and we were not disappointed.Weve come here twice so far for dinner during the week of June 20th, soon after outdoor dining became allowed in the area. Although at the time of this review the Google page for this restaurant says that they do not offer dine-in, I can assure that is not the case. In fact, this restaurant has one of the nicest patio settings in Palo Alto so at the moment it might be my new favorite place for pandemic dining-out.The atmosphere is very pleasant and the decor is clean, modern, and a little beachy. Everything is well lit with fun string lights for the evening. There is plenty of patio space even for somewhat large groups and lots of small tables for couples. The staff are currently wearing masks and gloves, and seem to be taking the safety precautions very seriously. I saw several staff members change their gloves and our waiter, Danielle, informed us that she couldnt take our dirty dishes until the end, which made a lot of sense. (Thank you Danielle, you were very kind and helpful!)And most importantly, the food is just delicious! So far, weve tried a variety of fish tacos and fish & chips, as well as some desserts. The fish tacos have many options and are very flavorful and fresh. The fries include several options like sweet potato and seasoned. Today, we both ordered fish & chips and they were some of the best Ive ever had - and Ive had them before in Ireland! The fish is moist, creamy, and not overly fishy with a perfectly crisp coating. The slaw was very well seasoned and fresh. For dessert, I ordered the Hula Brownie Sundae which has a wonderful coconut flavor served with macadamia nut ice cream and delicious hot fudge. It tasted just like a Mounds candy bar in brownie form! Ill definitely be ordering it again. This restaurant is definitely worth a shot if you enjoy seafood that isnt too fishy, served with interesting flavors and fresh ingredients - in a pleasant, clean atmosphere with lots of outdoor seating.

Despite the other lower reviews, I love this place! Im a cupcake fanatic and the cupcakes here are amazing. I always get the classic, red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting. The bread is really soft and the frosting matches perfectly with it. Ive tried several other cupcakes as well and they are all so tasty and addicting. You cant go wrong with your favorite flavor they serve here!I only gave four starts because it can get pretty pricey. The price stops me from getting more! If I only want cupcakes for myself, Ill only opt for one. If I am going to bring home some for my friends or family, Ill bring home a box!The interior of the store is really nice. Its really spacious and the wooden theme is really cute and aesthetically pleasing. There arent too many seating options but it doesnt tend to get too crowded inside, so youll definitely be able to find a spot to sit. There are even seating areas outside around the plaza.Since youre just buying cupcakes, the line goes by pretty quick so dont worry about waiting for too long. Id recommend coming earlier in the day because some flavors can sell out pretty quickly.
