You cant beat the fresh cooked meal here for the price. Its delicious, fast, and comfortable. It might be the best Vietnamese restaurant in Sunnyvale, (but maybe not for pho, their pho is okay).

Ph Lovers

First time eating at Pho Lovers and Im not sure if well be back.Whenever I try a new Vietnamese restaurant I usually try the vermicelli with any of the grilled proteins. I ordered the grilled pork, shrimp, egg roll w/ vermicelli and ice coffee. The rest of my family ordered the rice plates with grilled pork and chicken. The portions were comparable to other vietnamese restaurants but a few pieces of the pork was like jerky. Most likely it was just reheated. Overall, the meat lacked flavor and was over cooked. Its unfortunate that we were disappointed with the food.

The top Vietnamese restaurant I would recommend in the bay area! Their bon bo hue (spicy hue) is way too legendary!! Its consistently good. The people here are very friendly as well. 5 star experience :)

This is a modern Vietnamese restaurant, looking a bit like a fast food place. The menu is broad, complementing Pho with other Vietnamese favorites. The Chow Mei was flavorful, but the shrimp cakes proved greasy and light in flavor. Pho was standard, so quite tasty. Serving hot tea in plastic glasses is a blunder though. Attentive service (with few customer on Saturday for lunch).

I’ve been going here for over 25 years and the quality has been very consistent. Their lemongrass grilled pork is one of the best in the Bay Area. Hands down the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Sunnyvale.

1Star (11/2023)downgraded from a 4.5Star!There must have been a change of restaurant ownership or chef because NOTHING tastes or looks the same since our last review!-FEWER meats (2 meatballs n 2 thin sliced beef!) in a large combo bowl-Less pho amount-Salty soup!=================4StarFor a small restaurant, we were surprised n happy how delicious n authentic Vietnamese foods it serves. Serving sizes r good n prices r competitive. Spring rolls r especially fresh n tasty!

Sister restaurant Joy-Wok in Sunnyvale serves pho and Chinese food. Here, a very small, spiffy deli-style eatery ideal for To-Go foods with many sandwiches on fresh, crunchy french baguette. Jelly, bean, coconut and slithery smooth tofu drinks, egg rolls, all kinds of authentic Vietnamese pre- packed foods that is unavailable in most Vietnamese restaurants. Its almost like a do-it-yourself tasting menu, but without the price tag. Cash only if under $5.00. Go ahead, be brave and try out some new dishes.

Happy Flower Eatery and Boba

More recently opened Vietnamese restaurant. Starters were very good: seasonal rolls, spring rolls, and especially the papaya salad. The mains were all too sweet, expressed by pretty much everyone at the table. I think the papaya salad was also sweet but was tolerated as it was a shared dish, i.e., I had a small portion.Basically, the mains (and some starters) need a better balance of flavors unique to Vietnames food.
