Pho 999 is an excellent hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant in Van nuys on the corner of Sepulveda and Victory.Ive been coming here for many years.Its a decent sized restaurant in a big mini strip mall. Its usually pretty busy with a a large Vietnamese customer base. The food is very authentic and delicious. Every time I order I usually get my meal within 5 minutes, fast!!I typically get #1 Pho which is the combo Pho. The portions are very large and the price is very reasonable.I also get the spring rolls and the egg rolls which both are incredibly good.This place used to be open till 12:00 midnight and now its only open till 9:00 p.m. I would go more often when it was open till 12:00 midnight and hopefully soon they will extend their hours.If youre looking for an authentic Vietnamese spot I would say this is it.Ive been here maybe 60 times and Ive never been disappointed.Good food, good price, good service.

Pho So 1 is a popular Vietnamese restaurant in the same shopping center as the Ranch 99 market. The restaurant offers standard Vietnamese fare: a variety of pho, vermicelli and rice dishes and some vegetarian offerings as well. The pho is pretty good here, arguably better than at some restaurants elsewhere in the valley.Like most Vietnamese restaurants, forget the interior decor. There is plenty of seating and the restaurant is generally clean, but the atmosphere isnt what you come here for.Prices are fair and average, service is fine.

If you havent been you should definitely go the menu is divided by traditional vietnamese and European food choices. They have amazing coffee that will definitely make you happy. The staff is friendly the restaurant is clean. They have plenty of seating. The only thing is that you must use cash to purchase things from them at this location. They do have an Atm in the restaurant so you can pull out cash. So far I have had three trips to this location and I have had three different things but always their coffee.

The service was great. However the pho lacked flavor. It was not an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered the ox tail pho. It was a disappointment. I left most of it untouched. The bowl of pho was enormous and yet it lack to deliver in taste.

We wanted to check out Elno Tea Shop after discovering them on Yelp as a new small business.We ordered the Moon Palette + Jasmine Boba and the Match-iato + Lychee Puree + Jasmine Boba. The Moon Palette had a nice, soft tea flavor, and the Match-iato was rich in Matcha with a hint of sweetness from the puree. The jasmine boba they serve here is the best boba weve ever tasted in our lives, hands down. It was pillowy soft, freshly made and just so mochi-like. Also, a huge plus for having vegan friendly options!The owners were very kind and truly put their hearts into this shop. The Karaoke room(s) bar on the SFV! I have celebrated a lot of friends special occasions and birthdays here and its always a good time. The service is friendly, the karaoke books are extensive and so are the acoustics.Mostly have done the VIP (XL) rooms that hold up to 20 people. Its per hour like most karaoke bars with private rooms and varies by group size as well as Weekdays vs Weekends/Holidays.Once you have a room secure/booked you enjoy those fab multicolor lights, mood lighting and can start inputting your songs with their remote - make sure your numbers match the song and artist and keep the rotation going with a full list of anybody and everyone in your party that wants to sing.You will get rated on your performance/vocals by their karaoke system which is part of the fun - getting a 100 is a little bit of a journey but its possible lolCarnival serves some food here - mainly large appetizer platters (fried dumplings, dried snack, etc) - the fruit platter is my jam, with soju! You can enjoy non alcoholic beverages (coffee, tea, soft drinks/soda, water, slush, smoothies and even red bull), wine domestic beer or imported.They do have some specials/combo deals that include a bottle or multiple bottles with a menu item.Restrooms are well kept too like the entire space from the main lobby/front desk area to the hallways to all each room/space for your party.Parking is vast as the lot on Sherman Way and White Oak (Avenue) is bigger than youd imagine.Carnival Karaoke is located in Lake Balboa, Los Angeles,California by Evergreen Restaurant and inside the H.K. Valley Centre/Center, home to the Greenland Marketplace - the international grocery store of stores I always find myself in after partying it up at C.K. - snacks, small grocery haul and the best deals on tofu after belting out Dont Stop Me Now!!

Frequent customers to this day! We ordered chicken and sautéed loin, and at the last minute a dessert, it was to take away when after having ordered by phone in advance we had to wait almost an hour because it was not ready! My husband goes to pay and they tell him 55 dollars! He goes to the car and checks the bill and does not understand the payment of 5.99 and 8.99 extra, he assumes that 5.99 is the dessert and is returned for the charge of 8.99 and they tell him that 8.99 is the dessert no bigger than the palm of my hand ( I would have bought a complete cake) and that 5.99 for the inca cola when the chicken has always been bought with the inca cola included. The funny thing is that between one worker and the other they couldnt agree and one told the other that they dont know I charged for the soda and the other said that if you were in front of the customer, this cannot be allowed, if they want to charge you whatever they think they want to balance the cashier for the day! If it is a family business it should not be managed as such, very bad for them because they not only lost us as clients but also many friends who went there since they showed solidarity with us.
