Qun Mii Restaurant
9541 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
This restaurant is fairly upscale in Vietnamese standards. This is one of the Vietnamese restaurants I dont hesitate to take non-Vietnamese guests to. It is quite small and is normally very crowded so be prepared to sit and wait for a short time (usually less than 15 minutes). Food is a bit exotic with emphasis on central Vietnam cuisine, with plenty of vegetables and is very nicely presented. For me, the food is quite OK even though its not as salty as I would have liked. There are plenty of sauces you can dip in for a saltier taste, however.
Ph Vie Restaurant
15440 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
One of the 2 good Vietnamese Pho places I know that has Ox Tail in Little Saigon area.Just a typical Vietnamese restaurant. Doesnt look good and neat, but its a sign of a good food. Restroom smell bad but the Ox Tail Phở I had was just so good, especially during this cold weather and I was sick too.I mentioned there were 2 places I know that serve Ox Tail Phở. The other place is Phở Lú on Westminster Ave. That place looks nicer since they set up a more fancy decoration. However, for Ox Tail Phở lover, that place doesnt guarantee the have Ox Tail all the time. Phở Vie does. Guarantee!
Canton Restaurant - Cho C Ch C
8550 Westminster Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
This restaurant had been our favorite place for chả cá hồng every time we visited Little Saigon until our recent visit in early August, 2018! Unfortunately, They no longer served cá hồng and substituted it with catfish!! When the lady owner came to our table and asked us how we were doing and how the food was, we asked her about the fish. She insisted that they still served cá hồng and ordered the fish in big cases. But we know what we eat and this restaurant had been the only restaurant that served chả cá hồng that we know of and now, we have to look elsewhere! Hic!!If any of you know of any Vietnamese restaurant in Little SG that serve cá hồng for their chả cá dish, please let us know ASAP because we are going to visit Little SG again next weekend! Thanks!
Qun Hp Restaurant
15640 Brookhurst St, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
. . . one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurants to visit in the Fountain Valley/Westminster areas. It is a newer, more modern style Vietnamese restaurant, but we love eating there, and their Phó and Bún Bo Hué soups are delicious. Also, one of the GREAT and unique appetizers they offer is Ban Beo, which not many Vietnamese restaurants offer.
Qun H Restaurant
9727 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Had a couple of unique dishes here, but theyre pretty known for the bun bo hue and banh beo. The banh beo dishes were good, the bun bo hue was lackluster. Not enough spice. This place is pretty busy, so youll have to wait a bit. The service was okay. However, the decor was really trendy compared to most Westminster Vietnamese restaurants.
Luc Dinh Ky 1 Restaurant
9812 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
This is one of our go-to Vietnamese restaurants in Westminster, California. Only problem is it closes at 11:00pm, unlike many of the restaurants on the same street that stay open past midnight. Thats not a problem if youre a normal human being eating at a normal hour. But many times Im working late, and Ill drive to Bolsa Avenue for a bite. Otherwise, top-notch food.
Ph Thanh Restaurant
9625 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
We were hungry at 11pm on a Friday and EVERYTHING in OC was closed except fast food! You gotta love the OC where at the stroke of 10 PM, everything stops. We headed to Little Saigon to Pho Thanh because its open 24/7. We saw some other Pho places open on the way, and agreed that they didnt seem too busy. When we visit Asian restaurants, we usually feel that the busier it is, the better it is. At 11:30pm Pho Thanh must have had 60 people in it!!Does the perfect Pho place exist? I am beginning to think not. And the reasons it isnt are due to minor things or annoyances. The decor is plain and bright. Mostly Asian diners. IThe first thing that is great about this place are the condiments They have all the right ones. Not only do they have the Sriracha Chili Paste in a bottle, but the have the coarser, ground one with garlic in the jar. They also have satay sauce in a jar! The only thing that was missing was the Chinese pepper instead of regular black pepper.Notice the authentic and complete veggie condiments. Look how they have the Gai (saw leaf) herb. So many places never have this. Since this place must do so much volume, everything is so fresh! The basil was so green and crispy along with everything else. They bring this to you right when you sit down. I like this because you can get to work tearing it up so you can put it torn up in your soup right when it arrives so it has a chance to steep. Too many places bring it with the Pho or (gasp!) even after it arrives!I ordered the #1 special combination Pho with rare beef, cooked brisket, tendon, tripe. My chick had the Chicken Pho. We ordered egg rolls too with 1 coke and 1 iced tea.First came the Pho. How come so many of these places dont understand what an appetizer is and that it should be brought out first?! My Pho came out right away; before the appetizer! Notice how perfect it is though! Notice how the rare meat is actually rare. Yet the broth is scalding hot! Then tendon is surrounded by gelatinous goodness and lots of green onion. The flavor of the broth is the most complex I have had in a while (and I have tried probably 20 Pho places in OC). Every flavor is so strong, but they all work together. You can taste the ginger a little more than the rest, but I like this. Strong anise, lemongrass, and a slight fish sauce flavor. All with a perfect sweetness to it. Absolutely stunning. Noodles are firm, yet silky. The dont clump together like some places. The meat was so tender and such a treat to have it so rare when its not ordered on the side. The tendon is like eating a melting, chewy morsel that literally melts in your mouth. The tripe is flavorful, crisp and chewy. My Chicks chicken was the chicken they pull from the bone. Not like the places that use processed chicken. As a matter of fact some of the bones were still in there. Another small annoyance. A great strong chicken flavor in the broth as well.Another small annoyance is that the portions are a little small in my opinion. They are not small, but they are not large. How much more would it cost to toss in a little more broth and noodles? Maybe its because this stuff is so good, I always want more? You have to pay for water if you ask for it and it comes in tiny bottles (I think 4 oz). A soft drink is $1.00 and comes in a tiny 8 oz glass. NO refills. This is pretty annoying and the only thing I really hate about this place. Its not worth it to be that stingy to your customers.Next came the egg rolls half way through our Pho meal. Sorry about the bad picture. Notice how much lettuce you get. This is critical as most places always jack you on the lettuce and you never have enough to wrap all the egg rolls with. Also it came with lost of cilantro sprigs. A nice dipping sauce as well. They were not greasy and very light. But not a lot of flavor. I felt it could have used more filling in the inside. I would put these as averageOur total bill was $20.00 as I tipped horribly as I dont feel you get any service. They bring everything out to you and then they are DONE with you.
Den Da Coffee & Tea Restaurant
9393 Bolsa Ave # F, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
I have a case in Westminster and Ive been seeking out authentic Vietnamese dining experiences down here every month or so, usually for a late breakfast. This spot was first up for the search of Vietnamese breakfast. Crowd was 100% Vietnamese speaking including the waitress. Incredible outdoor dining vibes make you feel like you are in the Sympathizer by Viet Tranh Nguyen. I had the breakfast platter which was a fried egg, cucumber, four slices of hard sausage, some pate and a spongy sausage type substance. Amazing.
Peach Garden Restaurant (Cm Tm o Vin)
8461 Westminster Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683, United States
At this Vietnamese restaurant you can have a variety of food to eat like Thin-Vermicelli, Dry Vermicelli Dishes, House Special Rice Dishes ( Cơm Tầm Đặc Biệt ), Rice Dishes pretty much a wide variety of foods selection for you to choose from. It is also a great place to take your friends and family to eat, the price is affordable.
New Trieu Chau Restaurant
9918 Westminster Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92844, United States
One of my favorite asian chinese vietnamese restaurants. My favorite dish pork bone soup. Its a tender pork bone simmered couple hours adn savory soup. Crispy noodle with gravy is excellent. Fried rice also good. Weekend always busy, but it turns really fast so dont worry for waiting line. The server is friendly, but just extra caution with their english. Highly recommend
