Ocean Ph

Since 2016, Ive been eating at this excellent Vietnamese restaurant called Ocean Pho in Yucaipa California (theres also one in Redlands as well). This Vietnamese restaurant offers a wide selection of delicious Vietnamese soups and other dishes alongside exotic fruit smoothies, iced teas, and salted drinks. The Soups are easily the house specialty and the big comforting bowls will fill you up with delight. The 2 I always order are the Pho Special Combination??: steak, flank, brisket, tendon, tripe, & beef meatballs and the Seafood Combination Pho??: shrimp, squid, fish balls, & imitation crab. As I mentioned earlier, theres a wide range of fruit smoothies including exotic flavors such as lychee, honeydew, mung bean, taro, avocado, durian, jackfruit, red bean, and green bean. Overall I highly recommend eating at the Ocean Pho, especially if you want a big bowl of soup to satisfy you on a cold day. ????

Deep within the plaza lies a gem. Tucked away from the gaze of casual eyes, there is Sam Hut. The food and service here is consistently great! The variety of Pho options all delicious. My favorite is the beef pho. The broth is rich and has that “je ne sais quoi” texture to it.This place has easily become my favorite Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant within the area.10/10 highly recommend.

Took waiting 30 minutes at the front bar seating area before the only woman on the floor to acknowledge myself and my boyfriend. We started to become confused, were we supposed to approach her to place an order? Everyone one else was seated and she would periodically check up on them so that was extremely weird. About 30 more minutes go by and she finally walks up to us and asks what we would like to drink. We stated that we were also ready to order and she seemed annoyed as if we were rushing her! She said it would be a couple more minutes until she could take our order then walked away. After another 20 minutes we placed our order, by this time we were being more aggessive with our stares lol and she finally helped us. After about 2 hours we finally recieved our food (which is decently priced) we decided to take it home with us due to the fact that woman was terrible. And the absolute icing on the cake- the food was not very good. Not worth waiting that long for. We will not return and will not recommend even people we dislike to eat there.
Queen Bean Caff

I like this place. Giving three stars because Allie(sp?) earned all of them for this establishment single handedly. She worked so so hard for the 30+ minutes I waited for my cappuccino; all alone, running the cash register, taking orders, delivering orders, making drinks, taking complaints, acting as the receptionist for deliveries and solicitors, bussing tables, etc etc etc. The whole time she was nothing but polite and diplomatic to understandably frustrated customers. As far as I could tell, it was she and one cook in the whole restaurant, which had 20-30 people come in and out during my visit.Perhaps the staffing issue was a scheduling mistake. Perhaps it was to maximize profit. If so, management should consider refraining from offering so many food options and breakfast and drinks and services.I'm not angry, I just feel empathetic for Allie, who needs a raise!

I was super impressed with how fast the food was brought out. Hot calamari, spicy garlic edemanme. After we ordered it was out in less than 5 mins. I dont know if it was not so busy, but we got our food quick. After appetizer was brought out, we ordered our rolls and another appetizer (soft blue shell crab). In less than 5 mins we had a roll on our table and in another 5 mins we had our second roll brought out along with out last appetizer. It waz all so good. I got a spicy tuna roll with no rice wrapped in soy paper topped with spicy scallops. When I took my first bite of scallop my eyes about popped out of my head. LOL. Those scallops had a flavor on them that made my taste buds dance with delight. Also the scallops were cold on top of my spicy tuna roll. I was expecting hot scallops, so my mouth got a double surprise. I noticed they did not have riceless rolls on the menu, but I asked they were willing to wrap any roll in soy paper instead of rice!! I honestly didnt catch the price, my friend snatched the bill and paid before I got to see it. All good food, fast service. They had a tv playing how they make diffrent dishes. I noticed I kept my eyes on the TV. Lol good experience. If Im ever in the neighborhood I will swing by and try a salad next time.
