Menu is very different to the one on their website which I guess is now for their Sacramento branch?The 7 types of beef special has a minimum order of 2 so I couldnt have it! :(
First time there. Food is ok, not very surprised. No pho, show on a sign at door.
This is the 3rd I have tried the 7 course beef. I thought it was ok, I think it’s a bit expensive for what you are getting.
Best Vietnamese I’ve had. We usually go for bon bowls elsewhere which this restaurant doesn’t have but you can make one from the dishes they serve. Super fresh greens including sweet basil mint cilantro and this other leaf I don’t know. Very tasty pork rolls. Super good crispy won ton soup. We had it to go
About 6 items of Cooking Beef. That’s kind of different flavor to try it.
Their beef set menu is worth trying. My favorite part of dining here is making my own spring rolls with delicious in-house made fish sauce. The flavorful wonton soup is highly recommended.
Great food and a great experience. This restaurant specializes in this create your own spring roll at the table concept; they bring all of the items that you can order from the menu and you roll and eat. I LOVED it. The servers were attentive, the food was fresh and flavorful. The beef wrapped in grape leaves was yummy. I would suggest ordering the big catfish that they butterfly; the skin is so crispy and the meat so tender. This place easily accommodates big crowds, but I would consider making reservations in advance (and its a must if you want the fish). The only down side was the front door kept being left open my customers and on a cold evening the wind came rushing in.
We tried the 7 course beef option. Overall there the wrapped beef and beef sausages were the best. The salad and vinegar hot pot dishes did not stand out. The fish sauce that went with the dish was very good.
When a friend of mine from Washington DC came for a visit, I took him and my family of 5 to this restaurant for dinner. It was on a Saturday night and the restaurant fill up quick but the service was great and the meal was excellent. We order some 7-course beef and a bake catfish. The portions were very generous (we took home some left-over). The price was reasonable as the bill was around $120 for our party of 6. There were two identical-twin waiters working there and we had a few fun moment mistaking one for another.
I have been to this restaurant many times, but never get to write a review. The 7 course beef here are excellent, although they don’t give you the banana blossom stem like the 7 course beef restaurants in southern California. When I come here with my family, I sometime order the grilled fish, which you have to order ahead of time. It is also delicious. You have a choice of two different types of dipping sauces: the diluted (added sugar, lemon juice, and garlic) Vietnamese fish sauce or the fermented shrimp paste dipping sauce. The shrimp paste sauce is a bit strong, so if you are new to the 7 course beef, you may want to stick with the diluted fish sauce. The service here is usually pretty good, but a bit slow on Friday evening and on the weekend when the place is crowded.
7 course beef is a MUST!!! It is such a great experience and each of the dishes are extremely flavorful and creative.

Customer service here is really friendly and helpful. They help you with the menu if youre not sure what to get. They make accommodation for food allergies. Most of the food Ive tried here have been delicious. Menu is a bit pricey but for the quantity and quality its still considered a good deal.

This unique Vietnamese restaurant is nestled in between Tofu House and Jang Su Jang, and in the same shopping mall as several other restaurants and a grocery store, meaning parking is increasingly challenging on weekends (business has clearly picked up in the last few years!). The restaurant itself is moderately sized, with simple but clean decor, and seating doesnt feel too cramped. It was packed on a Sunday night, so reservations are recommended. Ive had Bo 7 Mon, their signature 7-course beef, which is delicious and unique. It includes La Lot, which I love. Another of my personal favorites, the beef rice porridge, is like Chinese congee with a soup base thats slightly richer and more savory than pho broth, and has ginger --- perfect on a cold night! I also tried their claypot with mushroom, chicken, and shrimp. Shrimp was small and slightly over cooked, but the flavor of the chicken/shiitake mushroom/rice combination was wonderful. Service was sufficient and efficient. Ill be back here again!

The restaurant is a authentic Vietnamese restaurant but without the pho` or the banh mi, I think because of the pho restaurant next door to them otherwise their crispy wonton soup is good 👍

The food is OK but nothing to write home about. The prices are quite high. For 40$ per person I can get a much better meal. We will not be going back there.

My friend ordered the lemongrass shrimp lunch plate and I got the BBQ chicken lunch plate. It was delicious, the lunch plates come with rice, salad and soup.

Very very good Vietnamese restaurant. Dont expect to eat spring rolls or pho here, but rather traditional dishes from southern Vietnam. The staff is very kind and explained to us how to season and taste our dishes.
Same restaurant Anh Hong, but the price difference is too much between AH in Tully San Jose and AH Milpitas. The price for a plate of Beef Lalot is $14 in San Jose and $23 in Milpitas. Customers should rethink whether to come to AH Milpitas again?????👎👎👎

2023-11-03 01:07:50This is the first time for us to try the famous 7 course beef dinner. We were duely impressed with the quality of the various dishes. Definitely a fun experience enjoying with your friends and family. Minimum 2 orders needed for this set course dinner but frankly its enough to feed 3 people IMO. The vermicelli appetizer was awesome too. Two thumbs up.

Everything was good but the highlights are the bò lá lốt (beef wrapped in betel leaves), grilled chicken and the Vietnamese pancake. The dipping sauce are mixed very well and balanced. They also have a decent selection of craft beers that pair really well with the food. Price was reasonable and the food was served very quickly and piping hot.

The courses are house special beef salad, beef in red wine vinegar fondue, steamed beef patty, grilled beef sausages, beef wrapped in La lot leaf, beef roll with onions and lemon grass, and beef porridge. I love eating this with family because it allows you to share everything. This is also a fun, tradition dish to sample every thing. I love me some Spring rolls. 2023-07-14 07:15:307-course beef is their specialty and a MUST TRY. one order per couple is enough. Weve also tried grilled pork over noodles, nem nuong rolls, eggrolls, wonton soup. They are all delicious! They dont take reservations so come early. The restaurant fills up fast and service is EXCELLENT. They refill your water and rice paper/lettuce without your asking, very attentive service.

If I could give this place 25 stars, I would give them 37! When we ate here for my grandmothers birthday, we got the meal for free because she shared her birthday with the owner! I am incredibly happy that I found this restaurant and that we eat here all of the time.
