New Ph Saigon Noodle & Grill Restaurant

I came here because I really enjoy Pho. Was really looking forward to it. When I arrived the restaurant was almost completely empty at 5 pm Sunday. I was sat and ordered large beef pho. They quickly brought out sprouts that were not that fresh and were discolored and a tiny piece of basil. The pho arrived quickly. I was surprised how the bowl was not full with broth. I enjoy it and had to wave the waitress down and asked if I could get some more broth. She said extra cost. I asked how much and she said $2. I said okay. She brings me out this half full small bowl of broth. The pho tasted good, but I was thirsty as I had been out hiking early. I had finished the ice water they gave me. While eating for over 30 mins not once did anyone come refill the water or check on me and see if I needed anything.I look over and the staff are all sitting eating and just on their phone.I go leave and it is $17. I ask why and the lady in a very rude sarcastic voice says WE LIVE IN CALIFORNIA WE PAY TAX. At this point I was just so turned off and wanted to just leave. I realize we pay tax but when you charge me you dont show me a receipt with what I am paying for. I ended up leaving a $2 tip and paid $19 for this small bowl of Pho. I get it, its an expensive area but $19 for a bowl of Pho is really expensive. The lady asks me if I wanted more water. I tell her no thats fine. She does not even listen to me and walks away and goes to make a ice water in a foam cup. I leave and she follows me out of the restaurant to give it to me.Why are you following outside when all I want to do is leave? Why are you arguing with me a paying customer who got no service. Its just non sense!

We sometimes eat here for convenience. Today was for dinner. I ordered the Pho Tai Sach, which had been my usual pho order at all pho restaurants. Their pho has been usually a tad on the sweeter side for us but with generous meat and sach. Overall, 3.5/5. The Hu Tieu soup was decent and good, nothing special but they did provide 2 quail eggs and more meat vs othe places, 3.5/5. Spring rolls, decent and average (seems to have gotten shorter), nothing special or wow. The peanut sauce was ok, 3/5. Our server was impatient and didnt listen well to our order this time. Customer service was made much better by the owners son, which he usually provided great service. 4/5.

This place is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The food is so fresh and so very tasty . Each dish has its own unique flavor. You can tell this restaurant takes pride in what they make and what they serve their customers. We met Don the owner and he made us feel so welcomed. His staff is very customer service orientated. You get fast service and everyone is very nice. We ordered Vietnamese coffee, hot tea, #32,#85, cold noodle dish that Don recommended(it was delicious), beef pho noodles, egg rolls, mango pudding and dessert Halo. I never had a Halo before and this was so good that i ordered another one. Halo has lichee and some other Asian fruit in it OMG was it good.i highly recommend this place for the reasonable price and for the freshness of the food. This place takes pride in what they serve to their customers. Their soup is cooked for 12 hrs and it is rich in body and so very flavorful.

Very good authentic Vietnamese restaurant! Pho restaurants got popular, but they are just a Macdonald of Vietnam, fast food. This one actually has an exquisite version of what Vietnamese eat.Unpretentious and with an excellent service.

This unique Vietnamese restaurant is nestled in between Tofu House and Jang Su Jang, and in the same shopping mall as several other restaurants and a grocery store, meaning parking is increasingly challenging on weekends (business has clearly picked up in the last few years!). The restaurant itself is moderately sized, with simple but clean decor, and seating doesnt feel too cramped. It was packed on a Sunday night, so reservations are recommended. Ive had Bo 7 Mon, their signature 7-course beef, which is delicious and unique. It includes La Lot, which I love. Another of my personal favorites, the beef rice porridge, is like Chinese congee with a soup base thats slightly richer and more savory than pho broth, and has ginger --- perfect on a cold night! I also tried their claypot with mushroom, chicken, and shrimp. Shrimp was small and slightly over cooked, but the flavor of the chicken/shiitake mushroom/rice combination was wonderful. Service was sufficient and efficient. Ill be back here again!

Typical service from a vietnamese restaurant. Not great... but the food is very good... prices are a lil over the average but definitely worth it for the quality of the food.

I ordered papaya salad that costs over $14 and requested that they make it Thai spicy (very spicy) when it arrived to my place, I opened it up, it wasn't what I expected. I'm not sure if this is Vietnamese style papaya salad or what? If so, they should put a print on it (Vietnamese style) and even though if that was Vietnamese style, how does one just throw soil sauce in a bowl of papaya and call it papaya salad? There was the papaya, jerky on top of the papaya, I think there was mints on top of beef jerky, only 1 whole Thai red chili pepper(not even crushed) and get this, 1 cup of soil sauce. Not even tried to toss or meshed the salad. I had to bite pepper and the so called papaya salad tasted like I drank a cup of soil sauce. If I wanted to taste soil sauce, I would just go in my kitchen and pour me a glass of it. Where is the tomato and the fish sauce and the other ingredients that supposedly be in the salad? Maybe, Google on how to make papaya salad. The worst papaya salad I've tasted in my life. I gave it 1 star for making it to my place in time.

You ever had a time where your friend tells you about this cool restaurant and you dont know what or where it is? Even trying to find it on Google maps itself is hard! It really makes you wonder if its worth it once you finally find it? Turns out it actually is! After hearing about it for the past 9 months from my friends, Ive finally spotted this French/Vietnamese restaurant when i was making my way to golfland that is close by. When i entered the building, my group of 4 and i was quickly seated by the hostess and serviced with the even nicer waitress! While most items on the menu are $10 or more (upwards of $40+!) the quality really stands out here, most notably my sizzling hot plate of steak that came with salad, soup and surprisingly, French fries! The steak was tender and seasoned really well, so well that they use full on pepper seeds you usually grind! Their atmosphere is very calm and subdue with real potted plants unlike most restaurants which use fake plants ( feel them!) and when i went, there wasnt a lot of people, so they spread the people around the best they could. Overall, its a pretty nice place, if, youre willing to spend a little more than you want to, and if you do, you wont regret it!

Beautiful Vietnamese noodle restaurant in Milpitas. Seating 117 customers. Much bigger than the sister restaurant in San Jose. Good menu selection such as pho with lobster from east coast. Wagyu pho. Oxtail pho. Short rib...See through kitchen. Professional service. A little more expensive than other Vietnamese restaurant.
