Orange Blossom The Oriental Kitchen
6980 Beach Blvd ste H303 3RD FLOOR, Buena Park, CA 90621, United States
The place was switching management when we went. Some of the menu was not available at all or coming soon. They no longer make anything that requires a wok, those are being taken out. I really would like to give this spot another chance once the re-open. However I had a bad experience.Food was not good. The garlic noodles were undercooked and sprinkled with pepper. I tasted little to no garlic.Wings seemed a little undercooked as well. Got the original and garlic lemon wings. Some of the wings were still pink inside. The food got out to our table fast but I would have been willing to wait longer for some fully cooked wings & noodles. The yellow curry was decent but more veggies than curry for our rice which is not what Im used to but still enjoyed. The service was really good. They were very nice and helpful with the menu. They topped off our waters before I got to half. Checked in on us consistently.Vibe was cool. Decent music, sometimes English songs. The bathrooms were clean (huge plus) and the place was aesthetically pleasing.
Ki Sushi and Sake Bar
5151 Beach Blvd A-B, Buena Park, CA 90621, United States
Was my first time here, but definitely returning in the future to try other dishes. I had the sashimi dinner which comes with assorted types and choice of a mini donburi. I chose the mini roe don, hoping for ikura, but it came only with 3 color tobiko which is fine. The sashimi was tender and tasty. There was also a large selection of sashimi from the paper menu, the menu where you have to mark how many youd like to order. They even had uni and it was about $22 for 2 pieces of nigiri sushi! I went with 2 pieces of ikura instead which came with way more rice than ikura. My fiance got the chirashidon which came in a cute wooden bathtub bowl. Both of our orders included miso soup which came without tofu or seaweed. Mini salads were also provided with our orders. They gave us plastic spoons which I thought was odd. The atmosphere was unexpectedly loud because there was a larger party behind us and they were obviously drinking and one guy wouldnt stop talking loudly. The restaurant also has a few TVs on the walls and was broadcasting golf and other sports. Overall, food and service was great, but the place isnt too fancy.
Sup Noodle Bar - Buena Park
5141 Beach Blvd Unit B, Buena Park, CA 90621, United States
This Asian Fusion place is quite good. A mix of Korean and Vietnamese flavors, I can see why it is so popular. I had ordered twice at least before writing a review, and the food did not disappoint. Picking up the order is quite chaotic though. It is packed even with their outside patio. I believe there may be a lot of people asking questions about being seated so I can understand why whoever is in the front may not be the happiest. If you want flavor packed Asian fusion food, or have never tried this place, you should give it a try.FoodLet me give some thoughts on some of them things I tried:Filet Mignon Lomo Saltdo - This was pretty good, just that if you get togo the fries gets more soggier depending on when you eat it. I believe esp in a togo container it can trap and steam the food inside.Shaken Fries- with the beef belly, this was an excellent combination, I believe it had a bit of siracha, and packed w flavor, and I would say the same about the fries being trapped in a togo box. Recommend taking it to air fryer and putting it alll together after. It was nice for them to separate the sauces. The green sauce was real good!Spring RollsI think this was pretty averagePrawns Fried RiceThis was real good, big pieces of shrimp, with a really flavorful fried rice.I would say overall the food has been quite good, just looking forward to one day in trying the beef pho, that so many people have posted pictures about. Just so hard with the wait times. I guess last tip is to have your wallet prepared, a dish can easily be $20. Until next time !
Poke Time
8261 La Palma Ave, Buena Park, CA 90620, United States
Buena Park has its fair share of poke bowls. What makes Poke Time different? Heart! Just like how Captain Planet needed heart at the end when the powers were combined!Choose your size, fish/seafood, sauces, and then lastly the toppings. Conveniently, you are able to visually see what seafood and toppings there are so you have an idea what each option looks like.Regular $9.50 - 3 scoopsMedium $10.95 - 4 scoopsLarge $11.95 - 5 scoopsAs a sauce super fan, I like combining the water based sauces in my bowl and then asking for the cream based sauces on the side. The spicy mayo is one of the best Ive tried. Tons of flavor.Drinks are sold by can or bottle. However, they have really clean tasting filtered reverse osmosis water off to the side. The owner is a sweetheart! Shes always smiling and so welcoming! Ill never forget her smile and left a lasting impression!Poke Time combines fresh fish with flavorful sauces (love the spicy mayo) that can meet anyones poke fix. Ill be coming back!

Kuni Sashimi House
7550 Orangethorpe Ave, Buena Park, CA 90621, United States
My friend and I decided to stop by here on a whim since we were craving some type of sashimi. We both hadnt had Korean sashimi before, so we wanted to compare how it was to Japanese sashimi. We decided to go with the Assorted Sashimi Platter. It came with toro, salmon, tuna, yellowtail, halibut, and octopus. And wow! That thing was massive for just the two of us. It was definitely a good portion for 3-4 people. The combo itself came with a phletora of banchan. The first set of banchan had items like: cold cabbage soup, corn cheese, steamed egg, kimchi, raw marinated shrimp, live octopus, raw oysters, miso soup, and abalone congee. We were then given our sashimi platter. The fish was pretty fresh, and the slices were nice and thick. We made mini handrolls without rice, and just used the kimchi. I feel like we shouldve asked for rice since the pieces were thick, but we didnt want to make ourselves prematurely full. Our favorites were the toro, octopus, and the yellowtail. It was a very different experience since we were given sesame oil, but we were also given soy sauce and wasabi too. We ended up ordering the uni pasta, which is made out of uni paste, cooked uni, and udon. It was definitely tasty and different than most places that weve tried before. We didnt know there was a second set of banchan coming our way, which included items like: spicy few stew, fish tacos, takoyaki, tonkatsu, sardines, tteokbokki, potato pancake, mackerel, tempura, and a crunch roll. It was so much food! We ended up having to pack some food to go. More than enough with the portions - definitely family style type servings. Highly suggest coming with an appeite and with more than 2 people. There were tanks of fresh seafood, and an ample amount of seating. The service was quick. The parking was free in the plaza. We definitely enjoyed our experience!
Ozen Sushi

TL;DR: Rice portions are smaller than usual but the subpar quality and inconsistencies eclipse any highlights. Service is unaccommodating and for $40+ a person, I would not recommend coming here.First impression: 730pm weekday dinner and it was very empty. Cramped restaurant and cramped parking lot but that shouldnt be a problem since nobody was here.We did the AYCE and it was a hit and miss, with a lot of misses. Fish was incredibly inconsistent and so was the service.Salmon: Maybe get?It started with a few trash pieces that were very fishy, lean, and had a bunch of skin on. I love salmon and had to get another batch just to see and it started to get a little better but some pieces still had skin on it lol. I saw a different table order literally 40+ pieces in a single order and they all looked perfect... very disappointed in our orders.Paradise Roll: SkipIts loaded with spicy tuna and its probably the most spicy, spicy tuna weve ever received... Only had 1 piece and we asked the server if there is any way we could just not eat the rest of this large 8 piece roll. They immediately declined which left the rest of dinner with a bad taste in our mouths--literally and figuratively.Yellowtail: GetThis was probably the most consistent thing and every piece had a really nice buttery finish to it.Tea: Costs $4Id skip this if I knew it wasnt includedService was friendly but unaccommodating when we got a roll that was so outlandish. Drinks and plates took awhile to be refilled and since it was so empty, they seemed bored and would just be busy gossiping about whoever. Quite unprofessionalFood: 5/10Service: 4/10Atmosphere: 4/10Value: 4/10
