Blue Lotus Vietnamese Cuisine

I have decided I will no longer go to this location.Sadly the service is very cold I guess thats the best way to put it. There has been a couple times that I came here that I had normal people serving me and the service was excellent but for the five to six other times Ive been there people serving seem very cold and do not understand the concept of customer service and running a business. The older gentleman that always brings out the food to everybody is always super polite and nice he smiles and says thank you you can tell he really values the business it always makes me happy to see him and say hi. Theres a girl that I see often always behind the register with a mask on and she never says anything when she comes to my table at all ever I tried to be nice and say hello thank you or whatnot never hear anything from her so weird. Went to have some food there today around 2pm the server young girl is very sharp bad energy never came to refill my water but she refilled everybody elses water never came to check on my table once I had to walk up to the front and check out because she never showed back up even though I had all of my food and plate at the corner of the table for probably 5 or 10 minutes sitting there waiting for somebody to come and never did. When I did go to check out the girl behind the front desk that I mentioned earlier still never said anything to me she just gave me the check didnt say thank you not even a smile didnt say anything. Its really a shame because their food is so good I always enjoy it definitely five stars for the food but Im not trying to come and have an emotional roller coaster when I want to enjoy a very delicious pleasant meal I want to have a great experience with my meal and with the customer service but the customer service is extremely lacking in this case I think it has something partially to do with the fact that their staff is really young or just bad choices in hiring they definitely dont have good character or are not good people because its not hard to be nice its very easy actually and its common sense especially in a business setting. I dont know but sadly I wont be coming back to this location I will find another location Im a pretty loyal customer as well so.

Poke & More
2292 E Carson St, Long Beach, CA 90807, United States
A Hawaiian mom and pop shop located in a plaza where the Ralph's and La Fitness are at! located in Carson St, serving very local dishes from the islands while adding a few from the Philippines to showcase both sides of their heritage! What we got:First we had the inari poke- these little bean curd pockets of deep fried tofu, rice, topped with spicy mayo and garnished with roe and scallions is a dynamite of all flavors and is honestly my new favorite thing! We also got tofu poke but with crab meat because we love seafood, but of course for all our vegetarian/vegan friends you can ask to customize your poke to your preference!Next the tuna sisig in a sizzling plate is a homage to Filipino cuisine, and as a Filipino myself I loved this dish so much! They also proudly serve Huli Huli chicken which is Hawaiian chicken barbecue with that pineapple, ginger and soy sauce marinade. Perfectly sweet and refreshing, I think everyone needs to get this!Lastly we got the crispy spam musubi cos it won't be a Hawaiian feast without spam!Service is also fast and everyone is so welcoming and accommodating!

WaBa Grill
514 W Torrance Blvd, Carson, CA 90745, United States
A little out of the way to go to at this point in life, but well worth the drive. It is located just off the freeway. Which is a really nice place to stop. The shopping plaza used to have a Target store there, but it is now been removed and they are building something new.Regarding the waba grill, the food is cooked when you get there, its served hot and ready to eat and with a smile and the question, Is there anything else I can do for you. My answer today was, No. They provided me with the two meals I ordered, the bottle of tea for my son and a glass of water with fresh ice for me. I love their little get it yourself bar that has fresh be cut onions and other greens. You can add these to your bowl to make it just a little more tastier.I have never had a complaint about any of the food that I I have eaten at Waba Grill. I do think the prices are a bit high based on others that have very similar products, but if theres no place else to go the extra buck or two arent bad.Restrooms are clean, tables are clean and the floors are kept spick-and-span.if youre down in the area and are hungry, drop in and see what they have to offer you.If you enjoyed my review please LIKE belie and if you get a chance please RATE me. As always thank you for your time and energy. Have a blessed life.

Waba Grill Torrance is my go to for lunch/dinner in between my work meetings. They are quick and healthy and give the perfect balance between a delicious meal and a healthy meal. Perfect during our times that I dont have to wait long and my meal is ready to go in a very timely manner. The staff respects every customer through my multiple visits and the place is kept at a very clean standard. I order a chicken bowl with white meat and veggies. That gets me to a perfectly satisfied portion without feeling bloated or full so I can get on with my day. Ive been going to this Waba for over 3 years now and I have never been dissatisfied. If youre looking to make a healthy change to your lifestyle, Waba is such an easy way to start. I have told 2 of my friends to start eating Waba to start changing their lifestyle. I can only say they look better and better each time I see them. Consistency is key. Thank you to the Staff!

Khun 9 Thai Kitchen

I went to this place based on the Google reviews. The food was fine, but I am disappointed with the portion and the way that they upsold the dish that I ordered.I ordered pad krapaw with sliced chicken breast. The waitress told me that it came with ground chicken breast and that I needed to pay an additional $2.00 if I wanted sliced chicken breast. If, according to her, the ground chicken was chicken breast, why should I pay more just because I wanted sliced chicken breast instead of ground chicken breast. This is the reason why I dont want ground chicken, because it is ground and it could be anything, but the real thing. Then, when I finally got my order, the chicken was cut in paper thin slices. Very thin slices spreaded on the plate just to make it look like it was a fair portion, but it was not.The thinner the slices, the less flavor, because thin pieces of chicken cant absorb the seasoning and spices as well as a thicker slice of chicken. Not only that, a thin slice of chicken can easily be overcooked, and it will just ruin the meal.I dont think that I might go back because I dont want to pay an additional $2.00 for such a small portion of chicken; plus the way they cut the chicken just to make more profit is not something that I would like to try again.

Nguyens Kitchen

Visited this new spot with my mom. The ambience is clean and bright. They did just open, so you might find things misplaced and AC not working well.Regardless, the spot is only a 3 for me. My mom got garlic noodles with jumbo tiger prawns and thai tea. It was their most popular and the cashiers fave. The 5 pc shrimp is extra 8 bucks. The noodles themselves is the same amt. The prawns were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I enjoyed it but the garlic noodles did have a great flavor but it was aggressively seasoned.Thai tea is creamy and good. Hard to mess this one up.I got the crawfish pasta. The abundance of crawfish and sausage was great. Its creamy and a bit spicy, which i liked. It is also aggressively seasoned but the creaminess did cut through it a bit.I wish both dishes were a bit more balanced. It was savory and salty, so it needed some acid to balance it out.Peach Lychee Tea tasted like its green tea based and it was a bit bitter. Idk how they brewed it but this happens when you burn the tea. Maybe it was also premade. Was not a fan.Other than that, would give this place another try especially when PUR bowls open up. Would not try the foods we ordered though.

First time getting 2g2g bag here and they were located right by Mitsuwa entrance. I got two bags and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food. The owner was friendly and pickup was super quick! The salmon and teriyaki chicken was too salty for us on their own, with rice they were tolerable. My husband enjoyed the katsu chicken, would definitely come back to try others!

I came at around 12:30 for to pick up lunch for me and my fiance. He asked for the mojo cuban sandwich with a side of fries instead of the salad and I got a california burrito with fries. He got the raspberry lemonade and I got the Vietnamese coffee. The burrito came with chips and salsa (salsa was so good, a little spicy and a lot of flavorful). The cashier taking our order was so polite. Everyone was keeping to the social distancing, there was a tarp outside to wait for your food but I chose to wait in my car. I got a text as soon as my food was finished. It took about 20 minutes so if youre in a rush for lunch, I would suggest ordered ahead. They take phone orders too. The burrito had a lot of rice and potato i think so it was pretty filling. The avocado salsa in it was delicious!!! The chicken in the burrito had a good flavor. The raspberry lemonade was good. The Vietnamese coffee was strong!! Love it.
