Jade China Restaurant
40982 California Oaks Rd, Murrieta, CA 92562, United States
You see so many enthusiastic reviews of this place, so we tried it. Total was almost $90, for we had the food delivered. I am here to announce without a trace of a doubt that this place is not all that, and actually I am now convinced that the people (no chefs in the house, that is for sure) that made our food, do not eat it. They are way smarter than that. Following dishes were ordered:Egg Rolls, $3.95: yes, we know, everyone makes them. These ones were very narrow, and lacking enough filling. What appeared at first a good deal, was anything but. 1 Star.BBQ Sliced Pork, $5.95: an insult to decent BBQ pork. Old tasting, overcooked, smothered with enough of this deep unappetizing sauce that could almost double as light paint, stale meat that basically told us we had stepped into a culinary land mine. Try Sam Woos in Irvine to find out how it should be done, a total disappointment to any eater that knows the real deal. 1 Star.Salt and Pepper Calamari, $6.95: rings of calamari lightly battered and breaded, this plate had its merit, but cabbage overshadowed the calamari in quantity. Still, better than the two described before. 3 Stars.Wor Won Ton Soup, $6.50: one container, so if a large family side is desired one will have to dish out $13, which makes it quite expensive, compared, to lets say, Red Gingers. Some of the vegetables were past the point of no return, very mushy, but overall must be said that the broth was not saturated with sodium (a well known practice in lesser quality soups of this type), and the chicken was tender and the one or two shrimps (they are a little stingy perhaps, but trust me, they are not the only ones) made this well known soup quite enjoyable to the group. 3.5 Stars.Beef with Schezchuan Garlic Sauce, $9.25: covered in deep brown sauce, which part of it was black bean sauce for we would see the little indicators, vegetable overcooked, beef tender, but then again if there is one thing Chinese has mastered, is the art of tenderizing just about anything, no guarantee of quality beef, just tenderized. Gooey mess, was rejected by 50 % of eaters. 2 Stars.Lemon Chicken, $8.95: I think they got a frozen breast of chicken, defrosted it, and cooked it very badly and had the audacity of charging their price. Must say that the sauce (on the side) was the color of orange, not overly sweet and they did send a very generous container, and since it is paid for I will use this sauce on a fish I been trying to create. 2 Stars.Mandrian Shrimp, $12.95: I think it was a typo, and what they were thinking of saying was Mandarin Shrimp. Either way, the plate consisted of ridiculously small shrimp covered in the same type of batter that sometimes is used in Sweet and Sour Pork. Not crispy at all, fall apart wet, about 90 % batter or whatever their concoction was, and 10 % Shrimp. A fiasco of monumental proportions. 2 Stars.House Chow Mein, $7.95: think noodles with not enough of anything else, overly cooked, sticking together like putty, half of it went into the garbage disposal. Cheap mentality leads to cheap eating. 1 Star. One might be fooled that their prices are nicer than the competition, and they would be wrong for their servings are not what one would call average. Their quality of food makes them one place where only in light nightmare will be revisited. The after taste, and the joint effort to consume anti acid pills (better safe than sorry) leaves a lot to be desired. Basically good money went vamoose with absolutely zero satisfaction for the investment. Oh, but they do have their acolytes which sing them praises, but check this out, if this place is truly a 4 Star, then a really good Chinese place would have to be a 12 Star, and that is just not going to work. 2 Stars.
Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors
24635 Madison Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562, United States
We have been ordering from this location for years and have never had a problem until recently. The last few orders we've placed have been missing items, or our orders we're just wrong, and today was not awesome. All main courses come with your choice of side of either white or brown rice, egg friend rice, or plain chow mein. Our order had 2 main courses with one side being white rice and the other side being plain chow mein. We also added an additional side of rice. That additional side of rice was charged, but not included in our order when I picked it up. In addition to this, one of our main courses was house beef with extra sauce and adding broccoli. This is something we've ordered regularly from any location for years and have never had a problem. For some reason this time we got a phone call saying they will charge us an additional $1.25 for the broccoli. I said ok, but we were basically asking for beef and broccoli with the house sauce instead of the sauce it comes with so I didn't know why all of a sudden there was an additional charge. The person on the phone said oh ok no problem and hung up. We ended up with beef and broccoli, with the carrots, and not the house sauce. I know it's tedious, but I used to work at another location and we made custom orders all the time because nothing is pre-made and it was never a problem, so it was super disappointing to have an order that was convenient for the restaurant and not what we were ordering. Long story short, check every single box when you order before leaving because this seems to keep happening no matter what we order.
Spicy Noodle
25395 Madison Ave STE 107, Murrieta, CA 92562, United States
Went here originally for Pho and unfortunately their broth is not the greatest. Didnt taste authentic like most Pho the broth was very dark, tasted like they added synthetic broth. Service was wonderful and there are plenty of seating. Surprisingly it is a fusion of Asian noodle restaurant. Will have to try their variety of menu, their Pho was a ☆☆☆ for me.
Golden Triangle Thai Cuisine

Everyone had a smile on their face and were all very kind. The restaurant was very clean! So China
39252 Winchester Rd STE 121, Murrieta, CA 92563, United States
***Alright. It appears this wont probably put the photos I took yesterday in the right order. Not quite sure, so most current starts with the receipt??*** #15 to 35. Last couple after that are old ?♂️??♂️ I dont know. This is the first time that I get to write a review of a place I have enjoyed over the course of many meals. I know that for many it might not make much sense that I take the time to write another review of the same place, but I am moving, and I feel it is important to acknowledge this small place that had a “small town vibe” with the simple tables it offered with a lunch special that is undisputed in value. “So China” has remained a special place in my heart within this area and I wanted to have one last great meal from these wonderful folks who work so hard. Bless you all!!Moving right along to my usual course of photos for as delivered. As always, this was packaged well. I deliver food so trust me; this is well packaged for delivery. I started with the receipt so that you can see what I ordered. Per my normal annoyance I request “Extra Spicy” but that is not the norm for this menu option. I did not include the specific options for “Dinner B” as that is subject to change, but I do feel that the items that were provided were excellent as sides. You get your money out of the Won-ton soup. Just saying JThe “As Delivered” are the first five photos that I am sharing here. I had to open the Styrofoam container to show the deliciousness that dwelled within its walls. Captivating to your Cholesterol and yet ever so yummy! The rest is pretty much self-explanatory, but it is well sealed and packed with the value that I feel is quite fair. All food was hot as would be expected and I have no complaints. The next few photos are pulling the lid off things. The first will be the “House Special Fried Rice” and that will be followed by the Kung Pao Chicken and then the Hot Garlic Beef. The Won-Ton soup comprises the last three photos. The first is in the container, and the other two are as I would serve it. Bottom line: You get one hell of a bargain here with this side so don't skip it.I have an obsession with Kung Pao Chicken and I ask for “Extra Spicy” as a custom order each time. No doubt they are tired of my requests, but they always do a great job, never ask a question, and they will without a doubt provide the same excellent service to you. So, since we have established that I have an unhealthy relationship with Kung Pao Chicken, I provided a few photos of this bliss in a dish that I relocated to a plate. Housing costs were a bit high in that plastic container so I felt Bamboo was a better option. The Hot Garlic Beef was exceptional; perhaps some of the best that I have had in ages as I once again requested “extra spicy” on my order. If you can imagine a Peacock fluffing its feathers, this would be a dish where you just protect it and enjoy it. Excellent and Tender. Everything was just as I wanted it to be. In the case of this entree, I plated it a bit differently as I felt it deserved a different touch versus the Kung Pao. I did not see much reason to take more than the three photos.Final Thoughts:So China, I have loved and appreciated you through the Pandemic and well before when I came in and ate after work. When I return at some unknown time to Temecula I will indeed come dine with you again! To those in Temecula and Murrieta looking for some quality Chinese Food, these people produce some excellent meals. Never judge a restaurant by its size or location. Look instead at the wonderful food you will receive from one hell of a great small business. – Google Guide Out
Formosa Teriyaki
40469 Murrieta Hot Springs Rd g5, Murrieta, CA 92563, United States
Always eager to try a new promising place, we saw Formosa Teriyaki and their 5 Stars average reviews. It did not take much after that to stop by, and give the place a try.We, a party of 3, arrived past 8 PM, knowing they close at 9:30 PM. Place had about two tables occupied. Nice smiles from the staff made for a good first impression. Sing, took our orders, a personable and friendly representative. Following dishes were ordered:Chicken Wings (6), $6: we chose the popcorn type, not the sweeter kind. Have to admit they were easy to enjoy. Nice and crispy. 4 Stars.Grilled Chicken Teriyaki, Bowl $7: Teriyaki sauce on the side, arrived with additional rice, cabbage, pot sticker, and egg roll. Chicken was a little dry, maybe the late hour? You enter a place near closing time, and sometimes you just don't get a fresh batch. Teriyaki sauce on the side right out of a bottle, it seemed. White rice at the end of its shift, not fluffy, and obviously not recently made, sad but true, and since this type of food depends on a great white rice, arriving late was the culprit of such minor offense. Egg Roll like any average one in this great land. Cabbage on point, Pot Sticker flat and lukewarm. 3.5 Stars.Grilled Salmon Teriyaki, $11: Once again sauce on the side. My lovely female companion complained inwardly about the fish being on the dry side, something to consider when ordering it grill versus steamed? The same shortcoming with the rice mentioned before. Egg Roll and Potsticker average, Cabbage nice. Nice amount served. 3.5 Stars.Ginger Fish, $10: kind of like salt and pepper, and deep fried. Nice amount but unable to discern the presence of the Ginger, and ooh wee, salty! No special sauces, same ole same-o tiny teriyaki, but by request a spicy home made sauce was brought, by the very nice and efficient Sing, who never let out being a courteous and dynamic server. 4 Stars.Wor Won Ton Soup, $9: I would say that the broth was very tasty, and one of their evident fortes. Good enough to repeat, with all the makings of a very decent Wor Won Ton Soup. 4.5 Stars.Sing, and his family, embody all that is good in a family owned operation, and certainly deserve all the success they can muster. Water was of great quality. Bill under $50. Nice time. 4 Stars.

URBN Market Fusion
38365 Innovation Ct ste 902, Murrieta, CA 92563, United States
As a food vendor in game, all I can say is Im impressed with URBN Market Fusion and Chef Justin. In transparency, most food products fall short on the value scale so its rare I recall or even crave to eat another vendors food. But just like The Book of Life (for you scripture students out there), once youre on it, youre in forever - thats the case with URBN.Ive had the pleasure to try the Dragon Dog and the Dragon Burger. IMO, both are in the top tier of their respective categories. The taste of the asian fusion really shines through. Emphasis on the fusion, whereas others attempt to force uncomplimentary tastes and call it fusion, chef Justin goes deep into craft of blending the ingredients to bring out the right combinations and nuances of the flavors so there is no clash only harmony. Its something you have to taste for yourself. They are based in Murrieta but travel all around the IE. Check out their schedule posted on IG so you can catch them at the next even near you. They even cater too.
Wingz & Mi
25395 Madison Ave #111, Murrieta, CA 92562, United States
Unfortunately I've tried reaching out to management or an owner via email and phone to no avail. This is a review based on my experience on 11/3.I am sitting outside of Wingz and Mi after traveling to the restaurant to place an order. At 6:55 pm, I called the restaurant and was immediately asked if I could hold. I said, “sure”. No big deal, it's Friday it must be busy. As the minutes passed I wasn't sure if it was slammed or if I was forgotten about. After 20 minutes passed, I realized that I may have been forgotten about. I stayed on the line and traveled from the French Valley and walked inside. There were 3 individual customers ahead. I patiently waited. As I approached the counter I was greeted by Penny. I asked her if there was someone I could talk to, a manager on duty or owner. She said, “may I ask why?”. I told her unfortunately I've been sitting on hold for 35 minutes. She goes, “oh, sometimes we get so busy our employees forget”. I didn't see anyone else around except for 2 men in kitchen and Penny. I said this actually happened about two weeks ago too. But I didn't wait this long, I hung up and eventually an hour later was able to call back and place my order. She said, “I can give you a free drink”. I politely declined and said is there a phone number or email so I can get in touch with someone? She looked around and said no. I continued to press, almost to the point of begging for a point of contact when she finally printed out on receipt paper this email. Penny wasn't apologetic, while she remained calm and caught off guard, it wasn't quite the experience I imagined. I placed my order at 7:30 pm at the counter. My husband and I come here 1-2 times a week to grab food for our family. We love it. We are just disappointed that this has happened twice in two weeks. We mentioned it the first time and asked about the phones. We were told something wasn't working right with the phones. I'm hoping by contacting you, this is something you can address with your staff or come up with a different solution that might be beneficial for not only customers but for the business.
JJ Sushi
33040 Antelope Rd #104, Murrieta, CA 92563, United States
Please note that this review is for their Chinese food side of things. Apparently their Sushi side has elicited several glowing reviews, and since we do not partake in Sushi we can not say a thing. The place is well decorated, and the sushi table where they prepare the food has a rotation belt, quite unique and advanced at the same time. As stated we only ordered from their Chinese Menu. Once again desiring good Chinese food and after reading the positive reviews in Yelp (almost 5 Stars), we ventured into their place. Place was almost deserted at close to 8 PM, and was hard to believe they stay open until 10 PM according to Yelp. Staff was dressed in black, very modern, and the place looked like a pretty penny had been invested in its development. The following dishes were ordered for take out: Miso Soup, $1.50. Just your average Miso Soup, no more no less, container was the size of a small serving. 3 Stars.Won Ton Soup, $2.95 each, we ordered 3. The broth was dark brown but very thin, almost water like but with a tasty flavor. 3 won tons were to be found inside, and one rather small curly shrimp, which we were about to find out, appeared in every selection that included shrimp, really a midget of a shrimp but curly, so it was good looking. The won ton was not flat, it had filling and tasted okey. Broth the winner. 3.5 Stars.Egg Drop Soup, $2.50 each. Decent enough, it seems that this kind of soup is really not that hard to make, and this one was no different than many others tried. 3 Stars.Crispy Spicy Chicken, $12.95. This one had spices and supposedly would be fried to a crispy texture, but it was not so. This first main entree, and expensive for what it was, did not impress any one in a group of 4. Average all the way. 3 Stars.Triple Delight, $12.95. Fresh mixed vegetables and chicken breast, sliced beef, shrimp stir fried in black sauce. An absolute disappointment, once again with the miniature curly shrimp adorning the dish, really skimpy in the meats, overall taste making me wish I never bought it. 3 Stars.Combination Chow Mein, $9.95. Thick, unsavory noodles with so little anything else, that it really was rejected and labeled a culinary mishap. By now we already new that their Chinese side of the cuisine was lacking more and more. 2 Stars.Shrimp Fried Rice, $8.95. Rice gooey, clumpy, like if it was baked instead of fried as it is supposed to be done, midget curly shrimp which by now we were wondering if it was a larger shrimp cut in such small pieces, barely any shrimp at all, no flavor in the shrimp, a cost saving crustacean most likely with no redeeming qualities. 2 Stars. The place looks great, the staff well dressed, and the ambiance pretty good for this area. Perhaps, as I mentioned, their Sushi side is the real winner in the tale of this place, because their Chinese side, besides being a tad expensive, lacks the quality and flavor of better Chinese food. Total take out bill: $65 plus. First and definitely last visit. 3 Stars.
