I came in to the area because I needed a phone repair from someone in the area. I had asked a friend which place was cool to dine at for lunch, and he recommended this place to me along with a link to their site. \Originally, i thought it was like a Mongolian barbecue place because of how the menu was set up. I also thought it was like a Poke Bar place, but it thought, what the hell, i want to explore something i havent seen or tried, so 6 minute drive later, and easy parking - here I am, enjoying this super delicious bowl ive put together before my very eyes.I had mine with the Buckwheat Noodle base - Delicious. Also had it with the Peanut sauce. ITS DELICIOUS. im coming back to try the Nori sauce next. I was able to sample it as i was there - it was really good, and it deserved a spot in my belly, but i was in a peanut mood this day, so peanut gets it.Youre able to get the sauces either on the bowl or in the side. As for to-go, you can also ask for another pack of sauce before you leave. Take-out is very easy - just ask for a lid for your bowl, and youre good to go.Nice chill place. Youre in and then youre out - very quick, simple, and also very yummy. I recommend it!

12/16/2023. Came back 4 years later and guess what? Nothing has changed. STILL HORRIBLE SERVICE!The two ladies running the front are rude. This is a seat down restaurant and not even two bites into our dinner and they were already asking us to pay. In order to try to enjoy our food, I paid right away. The waitress stood right over our shoulder the entire time and she kept taking our plates without asking if we were done eating.After such horrible experince they demanded a tip. I explained to them why I didnt tip and they got angry and follow us spraying some water as we left.The place was empty when we arrived and if they continue treating customers like this they will loose the few customers they have left.I know I wont go back.Ps. I am a believer on tipping, many people depend on tips to make ends meet. However, tips and not mandatory and must be earned. If, I receive good service I am generous and will tip even for to go orders.------------Food was delicious but the older lady kept coming to our table and looking over our shoulder. I dont know if they have a issue with people leaving without paying but even after we gave them our card and paid for our dinner she kept coming over to our table to the point I had to tell her to please let us eat our dinner in peace. Giving 3 stars because the food is good but wont be coming back.

I attempted to order online today at about 645pm and by 7pm I received a notice my online order was canceled due to the restaurant being out of chicken. I had already arrived at the location when I received the notice and shortly after received a phone call from the restaurant stating they did have chicken but it would take about 25-30mins to cook. I had already waited about 20 mins from the time I ordered to the time I arrived to the restaurant where the order could have been prepared. When I arrived to the front of the restaurant I saw two guys standing behind the register on their phones. Mind you the location doesnt close until 8pm so I didnt understand why there was no chicken prepared. I was told by the gentleman on the phone that they could still make my order but it would now take an extra 25-30 mins for my order two be ready. I respectfully told the person on the phone that I would not be going through with the order.I really enjoy coming here for the food but the customer service in the evening time is always poor. Its like the closer it gets to closing time the less work they want to do. Thats just my personal opinion. Hopefully this can be addressed. A si.ple phone call letting me know about the wait time when the order was placed wouldve been ideal.Maybe the online ordering should not be an option if the guys who work in the evening find it hard to make peoples orders.

On July 6th at 6:08 p.m. ordered Bowl and added avocado; it had black Parts on it I took a picture I sure did the person when I place another order today to please do not put up a, thats black. She told the other girl with a ponytail and curly hair and she made a face sarcastically and Ill hurt her tell the cook not going to eat black avocado. So the girl that was preparing the food I showed her the photographs on my phone and she said to my surprise: theres nothing I can do thats how we sell it. I did not appreciate that answer and I spoke with the cook and he had the right attitude indicating that the girl was in error of her attitude and he was sorry that we got the black avocado on the last order. People shouldnt get fired they should get retrained; but more importantly, people that get hired need to have the right attitude and food service its not an easy job--- dealingwith people. But you have to be polite and hear out the complaint if theres any with the right attitude

Similar to Flame Broiler, complete with skinless chicken (because thats supposedly healthier), I knew what to expect prior to ordering a chicken bowl.Chicken bowl-Diced, white meat chicken over a bed of white rice, with a slathering of the signature WaBa sauce. On the bright side, the bowl will fill you up. However, coming from a big Yoshinoya fan, the WaBa sauce is required to add flavor tootherwise dry cuts of meat. The rice was fluffy, though.Service was good. On my first visit, I ordered in person. The second, I ordered via the app, both with minimal wait. Parking is via a small private lot, shared by Popeyes Chicken. More available at the adjacent Food 4 Less lot.To-go & delivery are the only available options, due to current events.Maybe if I paid extra for the ribeye, wild caught salmon or shrimp (tofu available, too), the term meh wouldnt have popped into my head while eating WaBa Grills chicken bowl. Fat is flavor, and is good for you. The chicken bowl does provide calories & a substantial meal, but without a promo available, I dont think Id be a frequent customer.

This particular space in this plaza has seen quite a few businesses come and go. Kape Republik has what it takes to become a mainstay.1. Welcoming. The previous businesses did not offer much of tables and chairs to its patrons, but Kape Republiks cafe setup makes it more attractive for people to come in, and stay. The longer you stay, the more likely you are to get a refill on your mango ice tea, or your Ube Madeleine order. BUT, the outside needs to represent the beauty thats inside too. Im sure this will get updated eventually. One downside is that its facing the afternoon sun, and it could get a bit warm.2. Variety. Being a small bakeshop/cafe, they are not able to put EVERYTHING on their arsenal on display. So options do change, with a few unchanging popular staples. So do check back to see what else you could be missing. This is a bit of a con because although I was surprised to see new things the few times Ive been here, their pastries tend to run out.3. Friendly/Professional team. Except for one younger lady who did not seem as enthusiastic to be working, the rest, especially the older folks are super friendly and accommodating. One time when I had asked for ube and pandan muffins after they had just run out, the lady told me that shed be happy to make me more but it would take an hour. I said sure, since we will be here for a while as a few of our friends were still on their way. An hour later, fresh off the oven, there they were. And they were gone within 10 minutes. =)4. Food. Their pastries are decent; not super wow, but just right and could futher improve. My wife and I love the baked turon (banana and jackfruit normally wrapped in eggroll wrapper and deep fried with brown sugar) which was basically a turnover with the same ingredients. The ube and pandan Madeleines are also a huge hit although I personally could not taste much ube in the ube one, despite the purple hue. Try their flavored iced teas also, especially during the next few hot summer months.Overall, an intimate spot that could run out of both pastries and seating at any given afternoon. If you want to order a larger quantity, you are able to call a day or two ahead so that they can prepare it for you. I hope to see and try more treats that I havent yet experienced during my first 3 trips here within the past 30 days.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. We just went, we only ordered a Mocha and a caramel, it took around 20 minutes and they only gave us the mocha, they told us that they were going to prepare the other one, 25 more minutes passed, they attended and served 3 more people, we went to ask them about our caramel and they responded that they were already preparing it, 15 minutes passed, they served another person and nothing for us. We went again and they said Im going to call my manager, the manager came out laughing and just said that he would return your money, the process began and he said that they lost the order and then that they had forgotten it and then that they already had it making pure lies, we just told him to give us the money back.
