Lunas Latin-Asian Fusion & Bar
2914 Churn Crk Rd, Redding, CA 96002, United States
Given the restaurant name - Asian Fusion and Bar, we tried out their cocktail and some fusion style dishes (or dish, more about it below). I have to say, they were very unique and very tasty. We love it.First, we ordered a Bloom Fizz cocktail and some blended margaritas, I personally liked the Bloom Fizz a lot, but margaritas were also good.In terms of dishes, we didnt know what Molcajete is, so we asked the waitress. The waitress was super nice and advised us that one Molcajete dish can serve 2 - 3 people. Having some doubt in mind, we decided to trust the waitress and ordered the seafood Molcajete. When the dish came, we were pleasantly surprised.!! The seafood is served in a hot stone bowl. The dish is enough to feed 3 of us (2 men + 1 lady). it is very, very good and tasty. When we finished the food, the bowl is still very hot.!! And it is only $42 for 3 people.Overall, we love the drink and food there. If we happen to be in Redding area again, we definitely want to try their Asian Molcajete. Highly recommended.

This is one of the first reviews I've written in years but I needed to. I love this GEM! When I'm over on this of town I like to try to make it over to it but only been a few times actually. In the past I have tried the sweet crepes (I want to try the savory) which were great but Today I ordered the filet steak salad it was fire! It actually blew my mind! Every part was spot on from the perfectly ripe organic product the vibrant red juicy tomatoes ? and the love and care you can feel eating it.. it doesn't feel thrown together like so many places and chains do. It seemed a touch crowded for an off peak hour but makes sense people love it and was more mellow later. It's a seat yourself type place but they do bring u the entree which is nice. Great music and chill ambiance. They take pride in sourcing their ingredients and the filet melted in my mouth Fresh blue cheese crumbles bacon mushrooms and homemade balsamic dressing that was the best I've had! Perfect mix between savory and sweet. It was a 10 and crushed most of the chain places! I don't think it's a regular menu item though but should be. I haven't had many salads that caliber around here maybe Mosiac was close but reminds me of the gourmet salads in So Cal. So many salads I've gotten here lately have been lack luster I almost gave up. A bit pricey for a lunch salad or a “daily driver” but it was worth every penny honestly! It also digested well I felt nurished happy and fulfilled and no stomach issues later! So many places I feel not good later want to nap or tired but. It on meal I felt energized no nap and alert it actually felt healing as funny as that might sound. The outdoor patio is great but the chairs weren't that comfy for a big and tall guy but for most they are prob fine so I moved inside. The owners are amazing nice thoughtful and make you care and they appreciate the business you can tell there hospitality. This place is an ace card I will be back! I really want and family to try this place especially ones that live in other areas of town. I feel blessed to go there and don't feel that from many restaurants! Check out this lil jewel it won't disappoint! It's a must GO!

Wildas Grill
1712 Churn Crk Rd, Redding, CA 96002, United States
I have been there three times now, and I really enjoyed the experience, especially because I had jury duty, and it compensated for the boredom. The food: I had some-kind-of hot twice, and their buddah bowl. I was surprised by my portion, and the hot dogs were a little hard to manage. The buddah bowl was a combination of things you would not think would go together--beans, cabbage, jalapenos, cilantro, rice, chicken, and some kind of Asian. It was surprisingly good.Price to food quality ration: Great! The service: Nothing to complain about. They were nice. The atmosphere: Its pretty ridiculous. Why would you even want a seat there? Youre crammed in this little area where the line needs to twist like a snail so you can order your food, and if youre sitting, people are knocking into you. But, its a tiny inconvenience for the great food in Redding. But...theres definitely room for improvement. Conclusion: Its great, a bit inconvenient, but great.
Racha Noodle
2630 Market St, Redding, CA 96001, United States
Service was very friendly, food was undeniably delicious. Cute little hole-in-the-wall/ma-and-pa ran places always have the best food, especially when talking about Thai! Tom Kha was amazing (I get it every time I ever go to a new thai place, so its my one constant that I order to personally so I can somewhat accurately compare places) and I loved the staff, they were perfectly helpful, not overly helpful where theyre constantly there, but yet definitely attentive enough so youre never in need of help for long, yet all the while it just came naturally to them, like it wasnt something they needed 2 be obviously conscious of. I give it a fabulous 4 stars and on my personal rainbow scale it reaches all the way to blue, at the least a blueish teal, and you know the food is as good as I claim if you ever see it from the outside, because the building and location itself is plain and unimpressive, but every single star is well earned with their authentic delectable thai cuisine thatll definitely ensure that I will be a repeat customer for Racha Noodle!❤????
Fusion Lounge
1545 Placer St, Redding, CA 96001, United States
This establishment is very unique in regards to what they offer, They indeed live up to their name as you start drooling just by reading the menu, and the perfect execution of fused Asian\American cuisines. Also is a great environment to get together with friends or family and have a cold one together or whatever adult beverage your craving. The uhhhh.....The Fusion Shrimp is like...way ahead of our time, I have to have it every time I visit. Try it and youll also see why. :) Hell...You know what, If you order that fusion shrimp and for whatever crazy, head scratching reason you dont like it..Screen shot your receipt to me and tell me why for whatever reason you werent not happy with it and Ill reimburse you for it, no joke, Thats how fire those are...Lastly and most importantly, I gotta Tip my cap to the faction that runs and operates this fine establishment, Its pretty damn rare when the customer service, and I mean each level of them.. Servers,Bartenders and kitchen staff is so phenomenal and welcoming that I found myself starting to feel a little bit guilty... like I didnt deserve such awesome treatment and inviting culture that they have instilled in their lounge, To the point where I wanted to clean my own table and take my dishes back to the kitchen myself since I felt theyve already done enough for me, Ya that probably sounds over the top to most but honestly I cant think of another place that caters to their patrons like they do. I knew right away once they announced that they were relocating from the east side of Redding and taking their talents to the heart of Downtown that they were gonna take over and blow up the scene down here and thats exactly whats happening as I type this as well as new menu items they added to an already stellar line-up of offerings and their food portioning is very generous so bring an appetite. So give them a solid look and you will not be disappointed, I even challenged you with an incentive with the Fusion Shrimp Who does that? Im just a regular customer that wants anybody whos maybe still on the fence about trying this place out or just passing through looking for something new I would strongly suggest not sleeping on this place, They have raised the bar(No pun intended) :p and are without a doubt in a league of their own in pretty much all aspects of operation. Im definitely looking forward to this summer as by then... I hope were as close to Pre-Covid normalcy as possible and that Fusion can finally dispatch a (FULL SEND)on their indoor dining space and rock max capacity once again!! Dont tell me that an amazing and revolutionary Food menu, Plus a Great selection of Domestic and Imported Brew and they actually have our award winning local brewer (Fall River Brewery) on %#π&$π÷ Tap here!!! offering theyre Hexegenia IPA which it doesnt get any better than that and pair all of that with good friends and family, inviting service which is a big understatement and if you want...get down on some organized corn hole tournaments that are set up out back which IMO poses a very fun time all around so I cant wait til that comes back into the fold.Ive never once written a review of a Restaurant or any other establishment before so I apologize if Ive wrote too much lol But I just felt I had too and to let you guys know this place is awesome and that you can experience what I have, These are my honest and genuine thoughts, I hope this review was helpful. See you there maybe!!Sorry haha....one last thing, I wouldnt call it Bar-Food like some other reviewers, I think thats an insult IMO.
Fresh Fire Grill
161 Lake Blvd, Redding, CA 96003, United States
My wife and I were passing through Redding and looking for a quick and fresh alternative to fast food. We randomly came across Fresh Fire Grill and thought wed check it out. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. Expect to pay $12 to $15 per person (which in my opinion for the food we received was well worth it) for lunch. The menu was simple and easy to navigate. The Poke Tuna Fire Bowl I ordered was sooo tasty. My wife ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl and enjoyed every bite. If youre in the area give Fresh Fire Grill a try for fresh, fast, delicious and well prepared food.
Chus Too
1135 Pine St #101, Redding, CA 96001, United States
Went in about 2pm on a Friday, the place was near empty. I ordered tempura lunch special and my friend broccoli beef. The soup was very nice but we didnt care for the sweet dressing on the cabbage salad, personal preference. The broccoli beef was good and my friend took her leftovers home. I sent my tempura back, it was thick and gummy batter not the light and crispy that tempura should be. I can only assume the cook doesnt know not to over mix the batter or it gets doughy, it was the worst I have ever had. The manager(?) protested that they had been there 40 years, no...the Chus Skyroom at the airport has been open for 40 years and would never serve that gummy mess. I probably will not return sticking to the original Chus.
