Fats Asia Bistro, Roseville
1500 Eureka Rd, Roseville, CA 95661, United States
Summary: Shockingly poorly trained managers, totally indifferent to terrible service. They defended the bad service. We had a disappointing experience with both managers today, Valentine's day. They are poorly trained. We have gone to Fat's many times a year and this was our 15th consecutive Valentine's there. It took an hour to get our food. This has never happened before. I complained to the manager and he told me that they were busy and there was nothing he could do. He did not apologize or offer anything to make things better, like pay for our drinks or give us a free desert. He made it clear that it was not his responsibility. As a manager, everything is his responsibility. He could go to the kitchen to see if he could solve any problems. At a minimum, he could apologize. After we sat down, the manager from the reception area came by. She was polite, but she also said that the kitchen is busy and the food is very good, and we would just have to wait. I told her that if they cannot handle this many guests, do not make this many reservations. I also told her that the first manager was totally indifferent, and that I thought he was a jerk. She said that calling him a name ended my conversation with her.I am very surprised that neither manager apologized, neither went to the kitchen to see if there was a problem with our order or if there was something they could do to speed things up, and neither offered to do anything to make things better.

A true Peruvian restaurant, the atmosphere, service and food are all great. Very traditional Peruvian food selections are the fare here. Peruvian food is a fusion of international tastes that include European and Asian influences married to traditional Peruvian spices. If you like Peruvian food you wont be disappointed.
Uncle Dumpling
United States, California, Roseville, Eureka Rd, 邮政编码: 95661
Speaking as someone who expects more than just a regular China wok type of restaurants, the overall food here is a solid 7-7.5/10. While the food being a little on the oily side, the flavors are there.-jia Jiang mian (not sure how to spell) tasted just like home, this is my favorite dish today-the ground pork within the steamed dumplings are a bit too fatty and the dipping soy sauce is too sweet to my own liking-pot stickers tasted more like Japanese styled gyoza. If you told yourself they are gyoza, they are quite tastyThe place is nice, clean, and bright. It gives you a little neighborhood Din Tai Fung vibe. Will I come back? Hell yeah.At first I was a bit skeptical because there arent many competitions in the area. Thinking it might be one of those Asian fusion/America inspired restaurants, I was wrong. I had a great dinner and this place exceeds my expectation, hopefully it will exceeds yours, too.
Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar
238 Gibson Drive Pad 6, Roseville, CA 95678, United States
Introduction I am thoroughly impressed by my Lazy Dog experience. This is not a mom & pop hole-in-the-wall venue as I mention in my Google Guides profile but I also expand experiences to chain restaurants since not all chain / franchised business arent all the same. Hence is why of my expanded reviews and my goal to alert my fellow Veterans and Military brothers and sister of businesses in appreciation that honor Military and Veterans with their discount. Not all chain locations do, but it is important to me to share.Review:I first had a Lazy Dog experience in Downey, California location. That was a good experience for Dinner time.My back story for trying Lazy Dog in Roseville is to scope out the Brunch menu, sample different food items for a possible Birthday Party venue for my wife. Needless to say, this venue will early accommodate a party of 50+ (relatives/ freinds). The price points for the Brunch items are comparable to most Breakfast / Lunch restaurant. The Brunch that we had to sample was delicious and unique. For a party of 50+ x ($15 and some change)-the highest price approximately amounts to $600. Now I am planning providing a free round of Mimosa Flight samples (youll see in the pictures) has 3 different fruit flavors in the flight (Pomegranate, Peach Nector & Orange Juice/ Grapefruit).Other foods were all good tasting. The Biscuits and Gravy, have big pieces of white sausage (not the typical type) that had basil & other spices that overpowers the taste. The other breakfast / Lunch items were so delicious especially the Bananas Fosters French Toast. Dont need the syrup!!The Breakfast Club meal is a biscuit sandwich (sunny-side Egg, thick Cheddar Cheese, crispy Bacon, Avocado slices). I would recommend if you are NOT wanting a messy situation, you can order the egg in any style. Side options are: Fruit or Fried Has Brown (is like a deep hash brown pocket). The Egg and Avocado Toast, the eggs had melted cheese with a hint of Garlic Salt taste (the finish product seems kind of runny) and buttery. The toast had sprinkles of red pepper flakes. The taste when well together. The Breakfast Burger (made to order, the egg made in any style). Hey its a Breakfast burger. The Bananas Foster French Toast. Has at least 2 inches thick French toast, Caramel drizzle, Whipped Cream and of course.. Bananas with Maple Syrup on the side. Honestly, adding the syrup would be overkill. The dish was great.Had to try the Donut Holes. It came with a side of Chocolate sauce. The exterior was light and crispy while the inside was soft and thick. Our serving staff was accommodating, friendly and attentive. I give e this location Lazy Dog (Roseville) a total 5 Stars. Especially they honor Military and Veterans with a discount. Thank you Lazy Dog Roseville. You will definitely get more business (we are working with your event coordinator) for my wifes upcoming party.

Trendy fusion Asian foods and sushi. Food is delicious. Sake don was more generous in potions. Have never seen sushi served Flambe!!! Really fun dish! Direct competitor for the popular Mikuni branded restaurants. Fun, hip, trendy atmosphere with friendly, and fast servers. Bathroom are clean.
Grand Asian N Cajun

I ordered fried potstickers and the General Chicken dinner combo. The fried potstickers were good, but the dipping sauce is interesting - its a bit on the sweet and thicker side. Definitely different than the typical savory potsticker sauce served at most Chinese restaurants thats thin enough to soak into the potstickers. The General Chicken was good, and plenty spicy since I requested it extra spicy. However, I prefer a bit less sauce to ensure the chicken is more on the crispy side. I ordered my combo with half fried rice and half chow mein. There was surprisingly more chow mein than fried rice, so I was left wanting a bit more fried rice to eat the chicken with. Both the fried rice and chow mein were good, though. I like the fact that the chow mein wasnt too oily, which is a common problem. Overall, a solid choice for decent Chinese food. Id go again and choose a different main dish.
Petes Restaurant & Brewhouse
3003 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, CA 95661, United States
Favorite place in town. Great service and food!??4 years ago, my wife and daughter would dine at the Petes Roseville on Douglas just about every Friday. I rated them with 5 stars. When COVID came about, we mostly did take out. Tonight, April 20th, 2023, we decided to order take out. When I arrived the meals were prepared for dine in on plates. The waiter indicated to the person preparing the food that it was for take out. The food prepared scooped the two burgers in take out containers of which I had no concerns. He then proceeded to use his two hands without gloves to scoop the buffalo chicken salad out into a take out container. WOW! When I mentioned what I witnessed to the checkout clerk that I thought that process was not sanitary and it was nasty, her only comment was that he washed his hands. I was there watching them prepare meals for several minutes and handling different types of meals with no gloves or hands cleansing. Needless to say, we will never go back for take out or dine in!I received a reply to the above rating. The food preparer was the person touching the food with bare hands and no gloves. Not a waitress or waiter.Be blessed and above all, safe!
