Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors
187 Yorba Linda Blvd, Placentia, CA 92870, United States
Horrible experience, horrible service, horrible staff, horrible customer service. I regret ordering food from this horrible restaurant. I will never ever, ever, ever, ever eat here again. I don't recommend this restaurant at all; Unless you purposely want to have a horrible experience. The following paragraphs meticulously explains my horrible experience. My girlfriend and I rented a hotel room after celebrating my birthday on October 23, 2020. We had an exciting evening with family at a great venue. We traveled over 20 miles to celebrate with my family in the City of Orange. After the birthday celebration we rented a hotel room in the City of Fullerton. The following morning we enjoyed breakfast near the hotel. We then returned to our room for rest from the previous night. Now for the horrible part of my birthday experience. On October 24, 2020 at 4:45 PM; My girlfriend and I ordered food from Pick Up Stix in the City of Placentia. The food would be delivered to our hotel room door. I asked my girlfriend to stay in the room and wait for our order to be delivered. I went to a local store for some items we needed for the evening. When I returned to the hotel room, the food was ready on the table. My girlfriend said in delight, “ honey dinner is served”. I replied “Mmmm I'm starving “. We sat down to eat. I placed a napkin on my girlfriend's lap and sat down. Here's why I had a horrible experience with Pick Up Stix. They failed to include plastic ware and napkins with our order, the food taste the way way wet cat food smells, the food was cold, the rice and chow mein was dry and hard, the shrimp taste expired, the chicken was hard and taste old, the spring rolls were practically empty. This isn't the worst part.I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. When I called the restaurant for an explanation, they placed me on hold. The employee said she would only place me on hold for a second. 7 minutes later I hung up and called back. Only to be placed on hold again. I was told by an employee that I was on hold waiting to speak with the manager. After calling again, I was told by a different employee, that there was not a manager on shift at that time. The previous employee had lied to me.I finally got a hold of someone. I was told by an employee, who refused to give their name, that their policy specifically required them not to pack forks or napkins. “Incredulous” I replied. “How am I supposed to eat my food”? I asked. “That's not our problem. Use forks and napkins from your house” she replied. “I'm at the hotel you guys delivered the food to. I didn't bring forks and napkins with me” I replied. When I asked the restaurant employee how I was supposed to eat my food with out a fork or spoon or chop Stix. She told me to use my hands.I had to drive, a round trip of 6 miles, to the restaurant that delivered our food to us just to get forks and napkins. Worst experience ever.
Mins Bistro Chinese Cuisine
18423 Yorba Linda Blvd, Yorba Linda, CA 92886, United States
I have been here TWICE on different occasions, and our service has been horrible. The first time I came here was on a date with my husband. It was quite busy that evening, and I remember being impressed by the restaurants layout and the aroma it carried. The manager at the time sat us down and said someone would be with us shortly. During our 15 minutes waiting frame, the servers continued to seat others, take orders, and take food out. No one EVER approached us until we finally called someone over. We finally were able place our food order. However, during our wait, new customers arrived(Asians). Orders of the other individuals were taken after us, and all their orders were coming out first!? Once we saw other customers were getting their food before us, we did get impatient. Our waiting time had now been 50 minutes!! We never received our food. Hungry and agitated we got up and left. Now the second time, my husband convinced me to try the restaurant again, and I agreed. This time we arrived precisely at 11:00 am. The restaurant had just opened, and we were the first and only ones! The server was a little rude but took our orders, and that was that. Shortly after, two Asian ladies with a toddler arrive, and the server takes their order. Suddenly, it is 11:25, and those Asian ladies have their entire order while my husband, son, and I are still waiting for our meal. My son received his meal shortly after, 10 minutes later, my husband and until 11:45 am, I received mine. You best believe I was agitated again. I confronted the server because, honestly, it makes no sense in this case. The server saw us sitting there and the fact he never questioned the kitchen about our order demonstrated he had no concern. Therefore, based on both our experiences, I conclude there is a racial preference for who they serve their food first. Mins Bristo lacks kitchen/order organization skills. As well as customer service. I do not believe service is a matter of concern to them. I will never come back here again, nor will I ever recommend this place. You are better off with Panda Express.
WaBa Grill

Not only do they cook the tofu on the same grill as animal products, the girl lied to our face and said it was cooked on a separate grill. We watched and that was a bold lie!!!! Then she rudely snapped well do you want your food or your money back with such snotty attitude!!! Customer service is a thing of the past at least with this store!!! Shame on them!!!

The Wild Artichoke

I came here for food, but at most got decent ambiance...On a Saturday evening, our small group of 6 came to the restaurant for the first time. We didnt wait too long to hear the specials and place our drink orders. The waitress seemed a bit busy as most tables were full. After the first order of drinks, we got our bread and what supposed to be an artichoke dip. Bread was undercoated and doughy. We placed food orders and had to wait quite a bit to get our dishes. Pizza Margarita, as promised on the menu to be straight from a New Jersey recipe, was my selection. Unfortunately, it was more like straight from Dominos... I have never seen a more under-cooked, thick crust as in this pie of nothing covered in a few tomatoes and at best a sliver of mozzarella. Bread is not their specialty, lets put it this way.Service was extremely slow as the waitress chatted with another table for what appeared to be at least 10 minutes. The bill took a while to arrive as well. The other person serving (possibly a manager or the co-owner) was too busy to clean the dirty tables and set up for the next days work instead of taking care of the current customers.2 starts for the ambiance. Nice lighting, intimate atmosphere (maybe a bit too intimate as we got to know our neighbors a bit too well...).I will not be back and do not advise you to go there either.
Mr. Katsu
3165 Yorba Linda Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92831, United States
John, one of owners at Mr. Katsu is a perfectionist when it comes to food because of his passion for good food; so he tries to make sure that customers are happy & satisfied with their food here.Theyre very open to suggestions on their food so feel free to let them know.Katsu Curry (pork cutlet, cole slaw, Japanese curry) 5 starsThis sandwich was a yummy combination of Japanese curry which wasnt spicy at all but instead gave the sandwich a nice creamy curry flavor to compliment the crispy & tasty cutlet.Habanero Pesto (pork cutlet, habanero aoli, pesto, cole slaw) 4 starsthe cutlet was very tasty and complemented the pesto spread that was on top of the buttered & toasted bread. The habanero sauce that was drizzled on gave this sandwich a nice kick at the end that didnt overwhelm the whole taste of the sandwich. The potato puffs (curry & regular) sides that came with this sandwich was delicious crunchiness which you dip into a yummy sauce that makes you want to keep eating more & more of.American Breakfast (pork cutlet, egg over easy, bacon, freedom, and syrup) 4 starsThis is great for breakfast, brunch, lunch or hangovers after a long night of partying. The maple syrups sweetness compliments the slices of bacon & cutlet tying everything together.Overall, I loved this little katsu sandwich shop because you dont find many places that specializes in these particular delicious sandwiches thats enjoyed in Japan.I will definitely come back for more =)

This place is 100% a scam pays for reviews DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING TO THIS ESTABLISHMENTYou have to Pay for Water and your food before you take your seats which I thought it was very strange even so that it's located in a warehouse area .I Came here for dinner paid for two drinks (Thai tea ) a French fry appetizer, two bowls of there fillet mignon pho .The drink came and was completely watered down lacked the authentic Thai tea flavor I asked our busser if he could exchange it for a lemonade he said he had to ask the owner I also asked for a side of onions which also had to be asked by the owner employees seem very paranoid to accommodate any request for guests without the owners permission very odd .The owner himself is the most egoist man I've ever met in my life as a restaurant owner he did not want to accept the fact his food was not at all edible, the two bowls of beef pho (right off the bat I smelled a foul odor from a watered down tasteless broth and spoiled meat as I was not going to eat this and get sick, told the owner I would like a refund the owner came out and raised his voice over my table to explain that this was not Westminster or garden grove city pho, I thought that was so racist to put down his own culture and to put down other restaurant that are hardworking establishments !! He went ON and ON to me that I did not know what filet mignon tasted like and that his food was not bad I was politely trying to explain to him as a customer everybody has their own taste buds and that yelling was not nice and simply rude of him ! I was not willing to risk the fact of getting sick by eating this food and simply wanted a refund he began to shout to say he will NOT issue a refund because I didn't know what real pho tasted like! A simple gesture could have been made by remaking food or an apology! Instead I was immediately being yelled at, I was so completely UNCOMFORTABLE by his approach to paying customers .PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS RUDE MAN WITH NO SENSE OF VAULE ON HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS OR SPEAK TO PEOPLE OR A WOMANOVER CHARGING FOR FOOD AND WATER THAT ARE SIMPLY NOT WORTH IT .
