LASO Nepalese Fusion Restaurant
101 Antonina Ave Suite 5, American Canyon, CA 94503, United States
I wanted to share my first experience here.It was a surprise dinner for my daughters birthday. They were very accommodating, only there is one employee, possibly a part owner who wasnt that pleasant to us. I thanked her immensely for her service and help, but I left feeling bothered some.My daughter & I arrived a 1/2 hour late, which could not be helped as we were caught in traffic, an accident and we were trying our best to get there in time. I even apologized for she & I arriving late. Thankfully our party was there on time.We were asked to order a few minutes after I arrived, thats fine, but I was told we had to order so she could take an even bigger partys order near us. No problem, as we all ordered our food. Our food didnt arrive first, the other huge party received their food first and it was strange because we ordered before them. Each plate came about 10-15 minutes a part. My nephew received his salmon dish about 45 mins after ordering it and they gave him complimentary brussel sprouts (ok thats fine). We brought in a small cake and I went to the counter to ask if I can have it. This female employee said shed bring to us. When she did, the candle was lit-I didnt know she was doing this at the time and I didnt get any pictures as she took it away.I said Id cut if she brought a butter knife and plates, she said No and insisted on taking it back to cut it. We received tiny pieces and never saw the rest of the cake again. By the end of our dinner, I told her to please keep the rest of the cake and share with the other employees. She had a blank look like she never remembered the cake at all. You see my daughter has been through A lot in the last month (quite a rough time for her) and I wanted her to be happy on her birthday. I was very grateful they accepted outside food at all and even thanked her for it. Again, no thank you. No its ok....I felt our dinner was rushed, she was very rude even though I was thanking her so much for everything. I got a blank stare each time. I even went back inside after making sure we didnt leave anything or nothing was left a complete mess, taking some gift tissue with me as it wasnt up to them to clean that up.Probably will not be returning and sad because the food was great, but her service is less than pleasant. ?We spent $440.00 here, and they gave themselves a $69.00 tip! Too much for this one ladys service!
Panda Express
5075 Main St, American Canyon, CA 94503, United States
About three years ago I stopped at a Panda Express, in Pace, Florida. The service there was so bad I vowed to never try this restaurant chain ever again.I broke that vow and this experience changed my opinion. The young ladies were all beyond pleasant despite being very busy. When I was asked if I had ever been to a Panda Express, and I replied No the lady tripped over herself to help me understand the menu. She even took the time to set up the app on my phone and ensured I received the discounts and points on my first order.I liked the entire experience but I had to remove one star because of the cleaning supplies left in the customers view. For me seeing a broom, a mop, or a cone...is an immediate 1-star removal.Other than that my opinion has significantly improved and my future experiences will have a benchmark this establishment created for me. I may even eat here again before I resume my road trip.

This is one of the best restaurants in Napa Valley. No hyperbole. Its a food truck tucked behind the casino in American Canyon (I know, I know), but trust me, if youre in one of the business parks in south Napa/American Canyon, it is definitely worth the trip for lunch. Hell, I would drive from my house in Napa to pick up from here, its that good. Ive had just about everything on the menu but the soups are what shine the most. They change based on the day but they are all spectacular. The portion sizes are huge (especially for the soups and pad thai) and for the price, its a great value. Theres a tent with some table and chairs under it if youre inclined to eat at the truck and there is plenty of parking around. Seriously, this is world class Thai food.
Thai Kitchen
3425 Broadway, American Canyon, CA 94503, United States
Craving soup but not your usual pho culprit? Instead, try another Asian favorite: Thai food. The coconut based soup will leave your sinuses clear for the next year. The combination of sweet & savory will make you feel like youre on a tropical island enjoying the warmth of the sun and the sand between your toes. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Try the popular pad Thai dish or try something youve never tried before. I would also recommend the fried chicken wings over the stuffed chicken but like I said, try something new.The location is great & the plaza does not have many other restaurants around it but you still get a good variety to choose from. Aside from that, parking is not a problem. The business is family run and its nice to see that even sometimes, their kids are helping the business. Go support your local business & enjoy the dishes.
Chardonnay Golf Club
2555 Jameson Canyon Rd, American Canyon, CA 94503, United States
Incredible scenery, excellent conditions from tee to green, great deal on Golf Now app...all made for a great afternoon. Be prepared for all aspects of your game to be challenged!Tee boxes, fairways, greens, sand traps...all in excellent condition. While its a par 72, it has 6 par 5s, 6 par 4s and 6 par 3s - I love it! Im all for variation, and you get it at Chardonnay. The course winds through vineyards and has multiple elevated tees, which give you incredible, panoramic views. Take several deep breaths, enjoy the view - even on a day when I wasnt at my best I thoroughly enjoyed this course and definitely want another shot at it!Here are the challenges:* Greens: At least 14 of the 18 greens can be considered very narrow, so while distance control issues will be slightly tolerated, left/right misses will not! Most have several tiers, so the threat of a 3 putt is constant if you dont hit the right level. But they are fair, smooth and quick...just very challenging.* Fairways: they are rarely straight, and certainly not wide, so they demand accuracy. So even though the holes arent really long, meandering fairways present a whole different challenge. On par 5s the fairways narrow significantly as you approach the greens, forcing you to be extremely accurate with a fairway wood or lay up with a mid iron. Experience on this course to know the best spots to land and the trouble you cant see from the tee would be very valuable.* Distance: Choose your tee level carefully. Yardage is one thing, but narrow distance is another. 18 is certainly a reachable par 5, but most of the others are not for us mortals but very playable with 3 decent shots. Most courses have one ore two short par 3s to boost your confidence...not here. They arent super long, but they are anything but simple. Par 4s that are 380-410 yards might not seem too long, but when the landing area isnt straight, and the greens are narrow, those holes just got a LOT tougher.I didnt see a marshall all day, but we played in 4.5 hours so pace wasnt an issue. Have a great time, enjoy the challenge!

I drive over a bridge for this. There are 2 phenomenal sources for pho within 30 minutes of my house (and I live in the Bay Area so I have lots to choose from). This is one of them, and they have the best service. Additionally, they have a comprehensive menu. If youre outside culture, they still take time to explain and accommodate if needed. I do recommend sticking to the menu, however. There is plenty to choose from. This is an excellent restaurant if you have any hesitancy about exploring new foods but want to do so. Their menus have pictures, and they can tone down or up the flavor profile or spice. Sometimes meals come deconstructed, and they will take the time to tell you how to eat it if you respectfully ask. These are chefs, not cooks. Treat this family with the respect they have earned.I am not from the culture, so I dont know the dining experience of those that are, however the atmosphere suggests this restaurant and family have struck the delicate balance of being truly welcoming to all who come while staying faithful to their recipes and their values.
American Canyon Marketplace
101 W American Canyon Rd, American Canyon, CA 94503, United States
This American Canyon Safeway parking lot needs a good cleaning, poor plants. Garbage dropped on ground here & there; its pretty bad in the customer service department.Deli seems full of unhappy, dont care sorts too. Mixed in with some really top Ace sorts. You figure it out. Yes, your customers do notice.Store is connected to their Sacramento Safeway, so they have NO CONTROL over their own temp of the store. Crazy! ITS KEPT WAAAAY TOO COLD FOR SHOPPiNG.Expensive too. Management should take a gander to their competition and see how far out there they are. Walmart, Savemart.Miss the Vallejo Raleys...but they had a hella slow deli too, LoL!
Hilo Hawaiian BBQ
5075 Main St, American Canyon, CA 94503, United States
I placed a phone order for pickup today. I arrived and wasnt let in because I didnt have a mask. When I asked if they require masks are they supplying them? Without getting an answer I was told to go outside. So I leave without my food. About 10-15 minutes later I get a call from the cashier asking me if I was going to pick up my food. I told her no because you wouldnt let me in without a mask. Then she tells me if you dont have a mask we will bring your order to you outside. So why was I told that when I placed the order or when I was told to go outside? There were no visible signs requesting masks be worn as I approached the the storefront either. So until they can get their communication skills in order, I will be dinning elsewhere.
Junction Brewery and Grill
110 W American Canyon Rd, American Canyon, CA 94503, United States
I came to this location on St Patrick day weekend. I expected to receive the same service as everyone else. The host was very sweet, she came over and assisted me promptly! I inquired about the happy hour and asked for the strongest beer in happy hour. She came back with a dark beer. It was very tasty. She came and asked me if I wanted another one before happy hour ended. I said yes and asked for my bill. When she brought back over the drinks and bill, it was double what the happy hour had been. I didnt even want the drink anymore. I asked for the manager. They had me waiting over 25 minutes. Of course I started sipping the beer because they didnt bother offering my anything else while I waited. 25 mins later, the bartender approaches me and said the manager wasnt available and if she could help me. I explained to her what was going on, she then brings the host over to me and says that she wasted trained to serve me, send her on her way. She said she would adjust my bill but never removed the drink that was nearly flat by the time I drank it. I feel sorry for the host. She was simply trying to help and although she made a mistake(a latino girl) the bartender or management staff should have never responded the way they did. Its degrading and disrespectful. I feel sorry for her honest mistake. The management and owners of this establishment should have handled this with less public embarrassment. I wont be returning nor recommending place.
Napa-Vallejo Flea Market
6240 CA-29, American Canyon, CA 94503, United States
I am disabled and have a handicap placard. It expired 12 days ago and I am awaiting new paperwork from my doctor to submit to the DMV. I still need to park handicap and have proof of everything. After visiting the Napa Flea Market to purchase my produce I came back to my car with a boot on it. There were signs in English/Spanish saying I needed to go to the office to have it removed. I could not walk anymore so fortunately my husband found an employee.I do not feel I need to prove my disability to anyone, but still did. The employee told me if I was in downtown that the same thing would have happened or I would of gotten a ticket. Well that's one of the reasons I came there instead. It's private property! At first I kind of understood his point, but when he continued to argue the fact after I showed him the voicemail transcript from my Doctor I thought he would be a little more understanding. The honest truth is that I was profiled from the minute I parked my car and walked away. Being in 40ish and not using my cane is apparently a crime worth putting a boot on my car?12 days expired and you have the audacity to tell me it's illegal? Really are you checking all the registration on the cars in the lot and putting boots on the ones with expired tags? Police do not pull over people with tags 12 days behind. What the hell gives you the right to put a boot on my car and then instruct me to go to some office to have an employee with a key remove it? Really I'm in enough pain as it is.Signs everywhere say “NO DOGS” (they're everywhere here) so I highly suggest before your employees try to police the issue they get some instruction on ADA Compliance. Parking lot “paving” is a joke for anyone in a wheelchair.
