Hanagi Restaurant
900 S Disneyland Dr, Anaheim, CA 92802, United States
Dont get me wrong the food was great, but we were given false information and that totally rubbed me the wrong way. I am big on customer service. Im a business manager and my businesses are BIG on customer service and overall run on honesty. The most basic information like hours of operation are a must that employees should know and provide to customers. My small family and I (3) were on a 4 day Disneyland vacation, we came in late on a Monday night and they served us at 945pm, we were very apologetic about the time but they assured us it was fine. We had sashimi and were out by 10:06, paid, tipped in cash and left. We planned on returning before the end of our vacation. The last night of our vacation we decided to leave DCA and head to the hotel/restaurant for a late dinner. At around 9:33pm, I called the hotel to get an ETA on the shuttle that would be picking us upUnfortunately, they informed us that would be at 945pm, I asked if they knew what time the restaurant served their last customer. They said they werent exactly sure but would transfer me to the restaurant to ask. I spoke to (I assume) the hostess, she said last call was at 10pm. I informed her that the shuttle would arrive at 945 and it would take us about 5-7 minutes to arrive. She said that it was fine at that they would serve until 10pm. I asked her once again if she was sure and that it was fine if not and added that we really liked the sushi and wanted to have a fast late dinner, she assured they would remain open until 10pm. I informed my husband and he asked if I wanted to grab something around downtown Disneyland instead and we could catch a later shuttle. I assured him that the hostess assured me that it was fine and we would be served. The shuttle actually arrived at 940 and loaded everyone and headed to the hotel, we rushed in at it was 9:52pm, the doors were closed but we tried them anyway. They were locked shut. I totally understand that its technically a week day and if a business is slow they close early, but why assure me on the phone 20 minutes earlier? Why not double check with someone else? Were traveling with a toddler and so this misinformation was a huge inconvenience. We asked the front desk and they called the restaurant. They asked what time last call was and the restaurant told them 9:45, I was upset because it then felt intentional. The hotel is great and I dont know if they are owned by the same company but most likely for that reason alone we probably wont be returning in December when we come back to Disneyland for another 2 days.
Binh Duong Restaurant
2232 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90804, United States
This place is not Viet ..I think its Cambodian-viet . Having said that, Its not bad. I ordered Pho and several other items togo to get a taste of how everything is done. The pho broth is alright, a little salty but not too bad. I ordered the small Pho Special, meat slices were too well done for my taste, and not enough. But then I am biased since my moms Pho s is catered to my taste. The place is bigger than most, service is quick and the place doesnt smell bad. One problem though ..no parking . All in all, I ll come back to try out more dishes.Later ...Got home ..checked my order ..the lady got my Togo order all wrong ...shud have checked b4 i left but I did repeat my order to the lady. Ate my Togo noodles (banh canh tom) and rice (com tam)..disappointed.. the highlight of the whole experience was the black beans boba..I kno ..if u didnt grow up with it ..a sweetened coconut black bean boba wud be weird ..but try it ..its very good..there are other dishes i want to try ..so I ll come back ..especially for the bobas and may be to try the crepes ( banh xeo) .Came back for eggroll apetizers a few days later and some battered fried bananas and boba..those were yummy ..the bobas are fresh since I ordered one for a friend but he didnt eat it till two days later ..still good ..eventhough the boba balls swelled up ..next time I ll ask for no boba in those desserts ..

Im not sure whats changed at the corporate level, but this is the 2nd poor experience Ive had at another PF Changs location in as many months and its very disheartening as this is my absolute favorite restaurant.Understanding entirely that it is a major holiday and in a tourist heavy area, I was more than willing to wait for my to go order. First, it took over 5 minutes for someone to even arrive at the order counter. After ordering I was quoted 25 minutes which is more than reasonable. I was then given no status updates as 25 minutes came and went. Trying to give them more patience due to how busy they were, I went up to the counter after 40 minutes for an update and was met with a flippant attitude about it and still no update. I would have canceled the order outright at that point if my husband had not been insistent that we just wait for the food since we had already waited that long. After just shy of an hour we finally got our food, with no apologies for the horrendous delay.I am more than willing to wait for good food, especially when busy. But as a customer I do believe that communication is important. Had they just told me its going to take a little longer than we thought and been apologetic about it, I wouldve been understanding. Instead, we were left in the dark and wasted time we couldve spent going to another restaurant for full table service. Im very disappointed at the lack of communication or concern at a location that is usually much better than this. I will not be coming back for a little while.
Roys Restaurant
321 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802, United States
I used to like the classy, Nice service here until last Friday ( Dec 30, 2022)?! I had a very bad experience with a rude waiter ( who is Asian guy)! His disrespectful behavior toward woman made me feel attacked, disrespected, unwanted customer?! He ruined my night !This Asian waiter was visibly ignoring me when he served my table. He only talked to my date and asked my date about what kind of drink for both of us ?? My date was ended to order the drink for both of us without asking me ?! My date had to remain the Asian waiter about serving the lady first please! The waiting was horrible, it was 90 min ?! I wasn’t enjoyed to have dinner at Roy’s anymore as usual! Roy’s needed to retrain the waiter better about treating the women with respect ( especially Asian waiter)to prevent this from happening in the future! Please remind your waiter do their job perfectly because Roy’s is a high end restaurant! If you are a woman and want to have a happy night here, please think twice before choosing Roy’s!
Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors
5576 E Santa Ana Canyon Rd, Anaheim, CA 92807, United States
*Update*After giving them a year to sort out their issues I tried to order from their website directly. Once again, second order in a row, they left out an entire item so I once again didnt get to eat with my family.Dont order more than 1 thing if you want to eat dinner the night you order it. I am very disappointed with their customer service skills. I placed my order online and picked it up. Once I got home I found out that I was shorted my beef meal. I called the restaurant and asked to talk to the manager. After 15 min on hold I hung up and called back and was put on hold for 2 more minutes before I could even say 1 word. When I called back again and asked to not be put on hold because I cant listen to the recording after hearing it 750 times and would rather listen to the counter. The phone was passed to Erica who said she wasnt the Manger but was in charge and would ask that they refund me in 3 business days for the beef meal. No offer to deliver the food or even apologized for leaving it out. I understand mistakes can happen but when they add all the mis-steps in this one order experience it shows that either nobody at this location has pride in doing their job well and/or were never properly trained which is a failure of management. Either way this place is currently a huge let down compared to the Placentia location.

As someone who prefers healthier food, I really appreciate when restaurants offer options that are lighter. Tonight I picked up a special bowl with teriyaki chicken and vegetables and steamed white rice. It was really tasty! Thanks to the younger asian female working here for the recommendation and accommodations, really good service and I enjoyed my food a lot!
MR. PHO California Kitchen and Bar
2191 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92802, United States
First, let me say that I don't like writing bad reviews, much less about local restaurants. That being said, this was one of the worst food experiences I've had, period. I don't think I would eat anything made at this place even if it was offered to me for free while I was stranded and starving in the wilderness. We came here looking for good local food in the Anaheim area last Tuesday. We were seated immediately; our servers were nice and friendly. I ordered the vegetable pho and spring rolls as an appetizer, and my partner ordered the chicken pho.We got the spring rolls and I started eating them. My partner showed me his roll with ham inside. My own had shrimp. Nowhere on the menu did it say that the spring rolls had meat or seafood; every other restaurant I have been to with spring rolls *at the very least* clarified on the menu if there was meat or not. We called our server over and he asked us if we wanted the tofu spring rolls instead. I was completely bewildered that, again, none of this was listed on the menu — the appetizer was simply listed as spring rolls. I was also upset because I don't eat pork, and I would have NEVER ordered something with pork in it. The tofu spring roll skin was extremely tough and hard to chew, and overall not great. The worst part of it was the so called pho. Pho is cooked over many long hours and it's a delicious soup I've had many times at other authentic restaurants. I literally couldn't take more than a few bites of the “pho” here because it tasted so bad, like an entire bowl of vegetables and microwaved noodles with canned vegetable broth. The broth was so salty — think instant ramen quality — that it was making me nauseous just trying to eat it. Scratch that — that's an insult to instant ramen — it was more like prison food. It was like eating out of a bowl of soy sauce, except the soy sauce tastes like piss (sorry for this description, but yes, it really was THAT bad). My partner later said that his chicken was extremely tough, and that his broth also tasted like it had been canned. For over $15 per bowl, I was mad (and also still hungry). With tax and the tip, the bill came out to roughly $50 — $50 for food that we couldn't even stomach because it tasted like piss. We took most of our “pho” to go because we hate food waste, but we ended up throwing it all out the next day anyway because neither of us could stomach our own leftovers. I hate to be one of those people that says “I could make this at home!” but seriously, I could have made something fresher and actually edible in less than ten minutes.TLDR; I gave this place two stars because the service wasn't horrible and the place seemed decently clean, but I would never come here again. At least with fast food, you get what you pay for on a budget. I feel sorry for the reviewers calling this good pho — seriously are you guys okay? Blink twice if you need help, Mr. Pho is not holding you hostage.
Panda Express
927 S Euclid St A, Anaheim, CA 92802, United States
Previous review:Quality of entrees are good as expected, but the rice... If you serve Asian food you should know how to make rice. Rice is always dry. Yes I understand you want the rice a little dry for fried rice (I worked at Chinese restaurant before), but the steamed is always dry too.Honestly the rice made me stop coming to this location. Portions... well its Panda.Updated review:Must have new management or something... Stopped in yesterday because it was the closest Chinese American spot open last night. First time their rice wasnt dry. From 2 stars to 5 for customer service. Walked in at 9:58pm. Asked for the wok seared steak and shrimp. It was all gone and previously i would have been told, Im sorry, were all out..., but they cooked up a fresh batch for me although it was closing time. The portions were better too. Thought the improved portions were because it was closing time. Stopped in again today since they fixed the rice issue. Not only was the rice made right again, but the portions were better too! LolUpdate:The rice sucks again. This location is inconsistent
Pho Hong Phat
3243 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90804, United States
Had lunch here with my friend ..he had chicken pho..I got the beef pho..I must preface ..I m very critical of Pho since well ..I think my moms pho is the best ....our orders came pretty quick. The broth is not too bad, the noodles were cooked right ..one complaint I have ..is I only had four extremely thin slices of beef...my friend loved his chicken pho. I thought mine was ok. There is the fried bread (gio chao quay) bread which is more Chinese and pho is strictly Viet, that you can eat. I didnt order that bread cuz well thats what is eaten with rice porridge not pho. Anyways, service was quick, efficient, if you dont have a mom that make u Pho once a month ..then yeah...also ..no parking so park on the street. This place only have pho on the menu..dif versions of it no rice..no stir fry no beef broccoli ......just pho.Came back today ..what happened ? Even worse Salty ..salty ..salty ...tiny 2 chopstickfull of noodles ..i asked for extra meat ...and I only got 4 pieces of meat ..yes I counted ...walked out wit my lips cracked and dry ...too too salty ..every one was eating it with the fried bread ..no wonder ..its to lessen the saltiness...there were mostly regulars ..and I doubt if anybody them had tasted real home made pho ever ...i was too generous last visit ..but this time ...no...dont come here unless you want to fill yourself up with gallons of water afterward. I can literally feel my blood pressure rising ...did even ..could not even finish a small bowl.
WaBa Grill
515 W Chapman Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802, United States
I do like Waba Grill but I dont like this particular restaurant. They do need to improve their sanitation/cleaning/hygienes as well as their customer service. When I walked in, the person in charge of the front counter was cleaning and wiping the tables. The others in the kitchen saw me waiting to be served but nobody else came over to help me as they were busy too. I waited patiently for a couple of minutes and finally the cleaning gal came inside serve me. At this point, I told her to please sanitize or clean her hands first because I know she will be touching my food. She gave me a negative attitude and replied she was using gloves. I told her its still unsanitary because her gloves have been contaminated with chemicals and who knows what else. She had to touch those gloves to remove them from her hands so her hands have been exposed to them too. This was also inappropriate because this not a courteous or best way to serve your customers. I was very grossed out and disturbed by it all. She should have washed his or her hands or sanitized her hands first before serving food to others, especially when a customer politely asks them to do so. Its not only good hygienes and sanitation but its also good manners. I decided to walk out. The manager and staff members there should be more attentive about hygienes and sanitation as do everyone else, especially during this pandemic.I never had to deal with this at Panda Express or PF Changs. Hasnt anybody learned anything from this pandemic? They should know better or receive better training from their leaders. Good hygiene and sanitation is very important and should be one of the things people need to learn from covid. Maybe thats one of the reasons why our country has the most death rates in the world from covid and its still climbing. It is so humiliating for our great country to go through this because of the constant brain washing influence from Trump and his incompetent, careless, heartless, selfish, foolish, ignorant, and deceitful leadership and terror. Either people are too ignorant to understand or they refuse to understand the reality of the pandemic due to their blind loyalty because they have decided to listen and follow the wrong leader. That does not help anybody as it has already been demonstrated very clearly in the past 2 years. I suggest they all go to the hospitals and see the many severe illnesses and deaths from covid per day, and maybe they can finally open their minds and eyes to the reality of it all. Perhaps, they need to see somebody they love be a serious victim of covid and they can finally see the truth for themselves.
