L V Seafood Restaurant
4139 Norse Way, Long Beach, CA 90808, United States
LV Seafood is a mis-nomer. Yes, they have seafood. But it is a very good Chinese restaurant. This place is always busy, and the food is very good. You always see lots of Asians eating there, so you know its got to be good if they eat there! Great for large groups, families, kids, couples, work lunches, etc. Great food, great service, decent prices. This is one of the best local Chinese restaurants around!

Jade Restaurant
6380-A E Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90803, United States
My friend and I went here to catch up and eat what I hoped to be great food.We walked into the restaurant and I noticed that there were barely any diners there, which I thought was good. We stood there for a few minutes, which I was surprised about. 3 employees came by to tell us that someone would come to assist us soon.A few minutes after we were seated, one employee gave us glasses of water without us asking for water, which I appreciated. My friend and I were able to talk a bit until a man started singing and playing guitar. He was very talented. Our waiter was very nice. He noticed my friend and I were deep in conversation throughout our meal and left us alone after checking on us once after we got our food, which was a plus in my book. He kept walking around the tables so we just had to wait until he got back to our table to get boxes and our check.Onto the food, I ordered orange chicken and white rice. My friend got shrimp fried rice. Luckily my friend enjoyed her food. That mustve been the most flavorless orange chicken Ive eaten. I found it funny that the plate for the chicken was huge and the bowl of rice was so small. I was a bit tempted to not ask for a box for my food but I wanted to see if my roommate would eat it. Otherwise, I plan to throw away my leftovers.I feel extremely disappointed because I wanted to at least try the breakfast foods they offered during another visit. But after this experience, I dont want to be let down again.

Thai Sky Restaurant

No-frills? This is a beautiful place! The inside is paneled with gorgeous wood. The food is absolutely delicious, very very fresh and affordable. Ive been getting takeout here for years and the gentleman who runs the place, along with all the people who work there, are so welcoming that I leave with a smile. I go at least once a month.Their curries are to die for, pad thai with shrimp is delicious, and theres a salty/sour tilapia dish thats amazing. For a while I was obsessed with the seafood soups. Their won ton soup is also very good.And......fried half moontons!Their menu is extensive with salads, appetizers, etc. If I had a wish, it would be for beef satay, and I would suggest turning off the overhead flourescent lights on weekend date-nights at least, because this really is a great space ...so cozy and inviting.....and it would be so romantic.Just drive by and you can see that its a lovely place from the outside. A perfect restaurant.

Charm Siam Restaurant
1506 E Broadway, Long Beach, CA 90802, United States
A staple for Broadway in the neighborhood. The portions have become a lot smaller but if you want to grab a quick bite I recommend the soups or curry. As they are surrounded by bars and apartments the business does do well but it's definitely the last pick. Teriyaki chicken is a platter of half chicken half lettuce served with rice. The broccoli and shrimp was very disappointing, about 5 pieces of shrimp surrounded by barely steamed broccoli smothered in bland sauce ($16!?) . Honestly the meals reminded me of airline food or microwave dinner, passable if starving but depressing. The flavors were dull and as if cut with water or vinegar (?)I've come here before for the fried tofu and loved the dipping sauce with peanut but last night the sauce had an much more sour flavor and unfortunately I found/bit into a staple that was on the tofu! Very disappointed, wanted to treat myself and friends to dinner after moving, $60 bucks later we were still hungry, next time I'll stick to the AMAZING Chinese food spot on 7th and Long Beach, huge portions, great price and never a disappointment…If you want to try a really good Thia restaurant look up Naree on Ocean BLVD not only is it fresh, tastes yummy and the best service they have a wonderful lunch menu, no more than $16 for an entree with an appetizer and drink (entree is bigger than what they serve here and tastes way better no sour or rancid taste) don't waste your time or money here unless you just finished bar hopping

Chens Chinese Restaurant
2131 E Broadway, Long Beach, CA 90803, United States
Have been visiting this restaurant for years.. about 10 years or more. Has always been good. We have our favorite dishes. Its a good family style restaurant. I mean the waiters have kinda always been a lil pushy but the food we can always count on. Unfortunately tonight might have been our last night eating there. We got there about an hr. Before closing. We walked in to find 1 couple eating and it looked like everyone working there was ready to go. The waiter said we are gonna close soon. We were like ok. We sat down he then said. Do you know what you want? I was like yes. Just cause we have our favorite plates. Gave him our order. It literally came in like less then 10 mins. So its about 30 mins. To closing. Other couple left. We each had eaten a lil bit of everything. We ordered...Egg flower soup..orange chicken..broccoli beef & noodles.I noticed that some of the workers left and I really didnt want to keep them there either. Decided to pay. Well actually they had already brought our bill. So hot up paid $51.00. The waiter said ok thank you.. you have 15 mins. I was like ..ohhh k. Thanks. Walked bk to our table and was about to serve myself a lil more and noticed a freaken dead fly on my plate! ??????As I showed my husband he got disgusted so did my 2 daughters. The waiter took my plate and then said. Do you want me to wrap the rest for you? I was like ugh! No. I told him I didnt think that was ok. He then said I can charge you 50% of your bill. I said maybe if I was taking the rest home but no.?He then was talking with another worker he wasnt even acknowledging us as we were talking with. I felt like we were doing more of the apology. He just walked away hot my money back that I had already paid, handed it to me and just turned his back to myself & my husband. And my husband there saying sorry we come here all the time were ot trying to get away with anything. Im like omg!! Theyre not even listening to you lets go. So if you ever eat there... check your food before eating it...you wouldnt want any surprises..???????????????????????????????????????????????????

Binh Duong Restaurant
2232 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90804, United States
This place is not Viet ..I think its Cambodian-viet . Having said that, Its not bad. I ordered Pho and several other items togo to get a taste of how everything is done. The pho broth is alright, a little salty but not too bad. I ordered the small Pho Special, meat slices were too well done for my taste, and not enough. But then I am biased since my moms Pho s is catered to my taste. The place is bigger than most, service is quick and the place doesnt smell bad. One problem though ..no parking . All in all, I ll come back to try out more dishes.Later ...Got home ..checked my order ..the lady got my Togo order all wrong ...shud have checked b4 i left but I did repeat my order to the lady. Ate my Togo noodles (banh canh tom) and rice (com tam)..disappointed.. the highlight of the whole experience was the black beans boba..I kno ..if u didnt grow up with it ..a sweetened coconut black bean boba wud be weird ..but try it ..its very good..there are other dishes i want to try ..so I ll come back ..especially for the bobas and may be to try the crepes ( banh xeo) .Came back for eggroll apetizers a few days later and some battered fried bananas and boba..those were yummy ..the bobas are fresh since I ordered one for a friend but he didnt eat it till two days later ..still good ..eventhough the boba balls swelled up ..next time I ll ask for no boba in those desserts ..

Tantalum Restaurant
6272 Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90803, United States
Nestled along the harbor in Long Beach is Tantalum, a stylish, and romantic restaurant. You can enjoy one of their signature cocktails while watching the sunset. The menu offers unique Asian fusion as well as a host of items to please every palate. Every appetizer and entree was plated beautifully and tasted even better. The steaks were sublime and generously portioned. The dessert were true works of decadent culinary artistry. And we also enjoyed quite the variety of flavored Margueritas.

Sura Korean BBQ & Tofu House Restaurant - Long ...
621 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802, United States
I think they are the best Asian restaurant in downtown Long Beach. They definitely stand out among the plethora of Thai and sushi spots. But that’s like comparing apples and oranges. As a Korean restaurant, their food is straight up bomb. They have a diverse menu and they can accommodate non meat eaters as well. I wish we had more restaurants like Sura’s in the downtown area. Also, they play great music!

Hokkaido Seafood Buffet
3030 Cherry Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807, United States
Ah.... NO ! Unfortunately, rude unhappy people work at this place. Especially the management. Getting a beverage is difficult because they dont have enough staff to serve the customers. Getting refills on your drinks takes forever, too. Not the staffs fault, just poor management. The quality of their food is mediocre, at best. Lots of empty dishes that never seem to get filled. Mislabeled dishes make deciding what to eat a bit difficult when you arent familiar with what you are looking for. They need to hire a cleaning crew and shampoo the carpet. Its just dirty. Thats probably why its intentionally dark in there - even during the day. Makes you wonder how clean it is where they prepare the food. Didnt see any roaches, like a previous reviewer wrote, but did see other bugs in the restaurant.Management doesnt like to be advised of these things and becomes rude and defensive. I merely pointed out a few things, so they would be able to correct the situation. But, I instead of listening, and thanking me for trying to help them improve business, I was met with and aggression and rudeness. Dont they know that this type of attitude and behavior towards your customers drives away business, or dont they realize that ? Again, poor management !Im not going back anymore. Very disturbing and disappointing to say the least.

P.F. Changs
340 S Pine Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802, United States
Asian fusion restaurant for the American palate. We celebrated a lot of special occasions at different PF Chang’s and always enjoyed the variety of offerings. The Long Beach location’s menu interior is perhaps one of the best designed. We liked everything we ordered and surely we’ll be back.Thank you!!!
