Siam Thai Restaurant
17120 Monterey Hwy, Morgan Hill, CA 95037, United States
So we went here for thr first time tonight. Ordered Pad Thai and per reading the menu, my understanding was that the Pad Thai came with Chicken, beef and pork and it says add prawns 3.00. So I assumed 3.00 more added prawns. Got a soup and the sweet potatoes. Got the order home and found only prawns. Called them and the first lady I spoke to said, ok on the ticket it says only prawns, which we found 4 shrimp size in the pad thai. She said ok the order must have been taken wrong, we misunderstood. So we decided I would go in the next day and try again. Then the lady who took my order got on the phone and said oh the pad thai comes with only 1 meat. Thank you for your understanding. I got off the phone shocked ! I just paid 43.00 plus left a 5.00 tip for a simple to go order to get home and be disappointed and then told the waitress was correct by the waitress. So we went to eat the soup, my other half then promptly found a hair in. Sorry man! You lost us? And I didnt even try the soup! What a freakin RIP off!!!! At least the sweet potatoes were edible! So after finding the hair in my soup. I called and asked for the gentleman who took my payment. His name is Ray and he is the owner. I told him what happened. He lectured me about the cost of making the food and that for a replacement, I would need to drive back and take it back to him. Then he also lectured me on pad thai being an or item. Beef or chicken or pork or prawns, even though his menu said add prawns 3.00. I told Ray I felt that he was lecturing me and said oh no! I havent begun that yet. I politely advised him that I would not be returning to his restaurant and wished him well in the 43.00 of wasted food helping him. He promptly hung up on me.If you want customer service, DO NOT go to Rays Thai place. It sucks.

My daughter took us there because they have the best Japanese food in townThe one thing I noticed is that even the lowly California rolls are made fresh in house and they taste dramatically better than any I have had recently. I gave a 5 star review to the other Japanese restaurant which is very busy by comparison and the food is good, but it is better here. Here the location is hard to find although it is on Dunn behind the Taco Bell so it has at most 4 of the 12 or so tables filled when we have visited. The dining room is very large which is ideal for the spacing necessary in the covid Era. They also have the ability to accommodate larger groups. We came in for a late dinner at 8 pm, they close at 9pm. On arrival they were pretty busy for a Sunday evening. It was a hustling place with two young new employees really hustling to get everyone served and the place set up for tomorrow. By the time we were done at 9pm we were the last customers. Even with the late hour everything was excellent and only one of the items we ordered for a party of 7 was not available. We came in hungry and left very full with leftovers for less than $25 each.We are very regular here each meal is excellent. We will keep eating here.
Kitchen Of Grace

Its okay, the food was enough. Sure, at the time I was a little disappointed because Ive come to expect to receive a fortune cookie from here. This time was different. Everyone I was with got a fortune cookie, but me. Id be lying if I said it wasnt tough hearing everyone read out their marvelous fortunes. I had to just sit there with a fake smile and act like I was so happy for everyone else. Unfortunately, I wasnt fortunate enough to receive a fortune cookie. Then I started to think, getting a fortune cookie is just an added bonus. Majority of restaurants dont give out free food, but this place does. I would have been completely fine if I thought I wasnt going to get free food from a place that typically doesnt give free food. My expectations ruined everything. Its like if kids are told that Santa is real, theyre going to be utterly disappointed when they find out hes not. I know from experience, I was a believer for way too long. If they were never told about Santa in the first place, there would be nothing to be disappointed about. Theyd probably be more appreciative to their parents for getting them all those presents every year. All Im trying to say is that not having a fortune cookie just made me sad because I knew they existed. Instead of expecting fortune cookies every time I come here, Im just going to be pleasantly surprised if I get one. Anyways, the paid food I got was so good that it helped me forget about the free food I didnt get.
Sushi Nara

Sushi Nara is my favorite sushi place in Morgan Hill. I get the Sushi Nara #3 almost everytime but you cant go wrong here. Their sushi rice for their nigiri is perfectly cooked and seasoned everytime and they serve large portions (by my standards for nigiri). I cant say enough how much I appreciate the quality of their food for its price. The rest of their rolls are what you expect to find at most American sushi restaurants. You can tell their sushi chefs know what they are doing. My ONLY wish is that they would use better miso for the soup but I dont really care either way. The atmosphere is perfect. Its quiet/low key (generally) which I like and it feels welcoming. I especially like one of the waiters named Michael who seems to be there every time I go. He is really attentive and friendly and now we recognize each other so he makes a little conversation whenever I come in and its nice :). Thanks for being such a consistently great place to go for sushi each week!!! 10/10 from me. ❤️
Panda Express

Dont get me wrong, food is good, just about as good as any other PE weve been to; however, their customer service and store cleanliness needs improvement.I understand how popular menu items sell fast and the time it takes to prep the next batch, but when there is a line to the door and you are low on items, common sense would tell you (the server) that the cook should be informed to make more before running completely out. This person should not wait until they serve the last of the items and then tell the cook they are out when a customer requests said items. Also, their portion size is not at all the same as all other PE franchises. They serve two scoops of rice/chow main on your plate, and only one scoop of the entree items regardless if items fall off the spoon (most stores serve about two scoops). The mens bathroom was out of order (apparently its been out for a while), and I understand that people need to use the facilities, but men were walking in the womens restroom and it was awkward to say the least when coming out of a stall. When I brought it up, the girl just shrugged her shoulders.First and last time I will use this particular restaurant. Ill take any other PE or gas station as our pit stop.
Panda Express
216 Tennant Ave, Morgan Hill, CA 95037, United States
I know that one doesnt go to Panda Express for authentic, great Chinese food but it is usually reasonably good and the prices arent too bad. The wife and I have been to Pandas all over and the experience you get is pretty much the same. Well weve been to both of the ones here in Morgan Hill and they both kinda suck. Not sure why but the food always seems like its been sitting too long or something.Tonight we decided to come in because it was 9pm and many of the restaurants in Morgan Hill shut down about that time. I looked at Pandas website and it said that this one was open until 10pm. Great, weve got an hour before they close! Well we walk in the door at 9:06 and about half of the dishes are either empty or look like theyve been there WAY too long. The beef dish I was looking to get had about 3 pieces of meat in the tray that looked like beef jerky. I asked the guy at the counter if they were making more and he said the the cook told him that they werent making any more food. I get it, its a Saturday night, youre teenagers and you want to go home and party or play video games or something. Also no one likes to waste food. But gimme a break its about an hour before closing! The kid tells me that they usually shut the kitchen down about 45 minutes before closing. I look at my watch and it is now 9:07pm. I say, Its not 45 minutes before closing its only 9:07. He says, Look Im just telling you what the cook said. Not only that but look at the picture I took. The beef had obviously been sitting there for at least 20 minutes. So basically they like to shut down about an hour and a half before closing. So I turned around and walked out. I can understand if it was 9:45 or even 9:30. But it was 9:07!!! You dont close for another 53 minutes! Customers should be able to get the food they want and not be forced to eat something thats been sitting on the steam table for half an hour! This is unacceptable. Not only will I never go to this Panda Express ever again, I will probably not go to ANY Panda again!
Moons Kitchen

Consistently great food at this local hole-in-the-wall, family-owned Asian restaurant. Moons has been delivering a fun dining experience for the 20+ years that Ive been coming here. Come experience it for yourself!
Sushi Confidential Morgan Hill
17340 Monterey Hwy, Morgan Hill, CA 95037, United States
Terrible service and communication!Waited over an hour for entrees that ultimately never arrived. WiFi was down, but that does NOT affect ability to communicate or to cook. Manager Caitlyn did nothing to resolve the issue other than closing out our check and asking us to still pay over $40 for 3 mediocre drinks. Completely ridiculous. Will NOT be returning.Update: Owner Randys response is nonsensical. Caitlin was comping the drinks for her own tables and all of her tables were receiving prompt food. When we asked her why the other tables were getting served and we werent, see shrugged and said because they were her tables. Completely ridiculous to me that the manager/assistant managers tables were getting priority and comped drinks, while the rest of her employees tables were left with a meager shrug. I also run a technology-reliant small business and when the power or internet is out, we communicate with our customers and handwrite and fulfill the orders. Randys response only solidifies that we will NOT be returning!

Man! The slides are super cool! Im 47 and I went up the hard way then realized there were stairs, oh man! But it was fun. Me and my boyfriend and 2 other guys where up and down those slides, it was great! It was hella funny when just two ropes from the floor on the triangle tower friend lost his footing and landed on his back??? made us all run to him and he acted like such a big baby but laughed cause he fell being so close to the floor. The other great thing was the xylophone, man we never had suçh playgrounds when we were kids that I had to get off and check it out and of course with a little encouragment my friends came off and played too! We all had a blast. Maybe you and your friends should try it too! ????? Oh yeah and those bathrooms are super classy. Beats San Jose by miles! Check it out.
