Bang Bang Noodles
9355 Culver Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232, United States
The hand pulled noodles were the star of the meal, and if it wasnt for the consistency and taste of the noodle themselves, this would have been a a zero. The noodles themselves were quite good - unevenly thick (this is good for hand pulled!) - perfect width for transporting sauces and meats from the dish to your mouth. The sauces, for the most part, were overly salty and the saltiness completely overpowered the dishes, minus the dry cumin dish, which was nicely seasoned. We ordered the entire menu and besides the one soup, all were dry. The meat that is offered (which by the way costs extra, AND the cashier failed to mention that) with the dishes was a mixed bag. The sliced beef was quite good, the lamb was pretty good in one dish, but bland and overcooked in the other dish. The ground pork was freezer burned and or just complete dried out. The meat in the dumplings and wontons we had were 100% previously frozen, and their consistency was fall apart when bitten and took on a similar consistency as the ground pork in the seasame noodle dish. I would go with the wontons over the dumplings, which held up better but the sauce was nothing to write home about - possibly even overly oily. The soup base faired better by bringing the flavors together without overpowering others. I guess the ... Blandness of the soup helped? The portion size was... Fairly small for the price, especially when you add the meat, but I guess for downtown Culver its the norm. It should fill you up, the noodles are very hearty.I guess the worst part : asking for a tip is the norm now, but they dont even bring it to you. I mean... Come on.I really wanted to enjoy this place, but I cannot believe anyone who has actually had legit hand pulled noodles thinks that this place is good. Really sad, honestly. With a revamp of the sauces and perhaps cooking technique, this place should be able to thrive in a wonderful setting.

Qin West Noodle
5666 Selmaraine Dr, Culver City, CA 90230, United States
The food here is more expensive than other qin west noodle soup. And the quality is extremely bad. An instant noodle soup is better than ordering any food here. I fully believe that this is a fake one.—UPDATE—I'm glad that you reply here.If you are saying the increased price is charged by app, I am fine with that. I am wondering now how are you gonna explain the quality of the food, I have been purchased your food for almost 7 years starting 2016 from the one located at Westwood which recently has been closed and I am glad to provide those purchase history from my credit card. And just 1hr ago, I took another order from the one around USC. I know exactly the quality difference between those restaurants and this one. Are you really confident about charging the same amount of money with this kind of quality??? If anyone interested, I am happy to provide the comparison images between a real qin west and this one.

Jasmine Market & Deli (Restaurant)
4135 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City, CA 90230, United States
This was the first time that I had eaten Burmese food. The lady working the front counter was very helpful to make sure that I ended up with a fairly authentic meal. I was also pleased to discover a bit of a shopping mart here that included Myanmars local newspaper.I highly recommend the salad made with the pickled tea leaves. It sounds like you have to be adventurous to eat it, but its not spicy or two strangely flavored. It certainly is unique and robust. The fish soup is also unique in its overall flavor. However, be prepared for a little more kick. It has a little bit of a sweet and sour flavor to it as well as the spicy hit of the chile. It comes with some little crispy chips that helped after each bite to reduce the heat.My favorite part of the meal was the Shami Kebabs. My wife felt that it had a flavor similar to samosas from India. I think it had more aromatic flavor to it, probably because it has a lot of beef. The side of slaw that goes with the kabobs is extremely flavorful. In fact, my wife just wants the kebabs with the side slaw the next time I go.Finally, I recommend trying the Falooda. It is a cold drink with hints of strawberry and rose. I have no idea whats really in it, but Im guessing that its yogurt based. It does have little strips of young coconut in the bottom so you have to drink it with a boba straw. My wife felt that it was more of an effective dessert after the meal because she liked the chai with her meal and the Falooda after.Im definitely going to be picking up from here at least once a month until we make our way through the first two pages of the menu.

Piccalilli
3850 Main St, Culver City, CA 90232, United States
Update. My girlfriend and I have visited this eatery several times and have always had an awesome experience. This last time, much different. All the tables were taken and we had to sit at the bar, no worries we were thinking… but then we met the bartender, fake smiles, short and no irie vibes. Ok, I guess. But once we put the order in, it was like we were not there. With 5 bartenders/barbacks in the vicinity I had to raise my voice to get water refills or drink replenishments, constant chatter and gossip, just hanging out. Don't get me wrong, this place is still?; food was exceptional as usual, just don't sit at the bar. I have to downgrade to 4 stars based on my last experience. At the end I wasn't sure why I tipped 20%, I just felt I had to, makes me sad :(***** original review *****Piccalilli, I gotta start with what a great vibe. The establishment is on busy Culver Blvd but the minute you sit down you get a sense that you have been teleported to a remote beach somewhere in Asia, Vietnam comes to mind, but maybe it's Thailand? Edgy Asian pop adding to the ambiance along with the warm smiles from staff. My girlfriend and I have been to this establishment twice and always opted to sit in the front patio area, it's so lush and green. Food wise Piccalilli does not disappoint, their dishes are an adventurous fusion of Asian/American and there are a variety of succulent dishes to choose from. On their happy hour menu, their popcorn chicken is to die for ?the smashed cucumbers also very good. The peanut dipping sauce for the chicken is Damn good! Spicy but we'll balanced. For our appetizers, we went for the shrimp and Brussel sprouts. The shrimp was shell on, but the shells were surprisingly thin and you could chomp them down with the meat. There's some magic in the sprouts, crispy yet tender and doused with awesome sauce. For our main entree we went with the pork tenderloin, cooked to perfection and marinated with a heavenly sauce. Their signature cocktails are also very good and compliment the meal well. The meal set me back about a buck 50, but well worth the price of admission for the experience. I would highly recommend this location for those willing to broaden their palate and experience something new, great for a date night or for entertaining guest in town.

Citizen Public Market
9355 Culver Blvd suite j, Culver City, CA 90232, United States
I recently visited Citizen Public Market in Culver City, and I have to say, its an awesome food hall thats definitely worth checking out. The market has a great selection of food vendors, ranging from Italian to Thai to Japanese, and theres plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. One of the standout dishes that I tried was the bang bang noodles. The noodles were perfectly cooked - thick yet tender. The tomato sauce was tangy, meaty, and just the right amount of salty. The scezhuan soup noodles was also perfectly seasoned. I also enjoyed a couple of cocktails from the bar, which were expertly mixed and delicious. The best part about Citizen Public Market, in my opinion, is the open-air rooftop. Its the perfect spot to take in some sunshine while enjoying your food and drinks. The rooftop is spacious and has plenty of seating, so its a great spot for groups or solo diners alike. The market has a great selection of food vendors and the rooftop is the perfect place to spend a weekend afternoon. Its a great spot for a casual lunch, a dinner date, or even just a quick snack on the go.

Westfield Culver City
6000 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City, CA 90230, United States
The thing that sets this mall apart for me is the variety and abundance of massage therapists and how they are in direct competition with the many available massage chairs that cost 5$ for something like 20 minutes. It's really amazing; it's only surpassed by the number of sweet offerings there are. Do you love boba? Two boba places are currently there. Do you love donuts? There is both a churro place, Cinnabon, and onut which are both Delicious! Are you after chocolate? See ‘s candies and some kind of cookie shop are there, too.My latest favorite place there is the African place because if you have never tried fufu, you really need it. It is so much more comforting than any kind of mashed potato you have ever had. The owner described it as a cross between mochi and mashed potato but my memory might have lapsed. I just know that was the perfect compliment to the spicy meat dish we had it with.Be warned about holiday parking- it is some of the most difficult parking you will encounter during a fierce shopping season. I prefer the middle floors to find easier central parking. Two places to really save if you love to bargain shop with a fashion forward mindset are JCPenney and Nordstrom rack. If you are a coupon clipper, don't forget to ask about all the discounts before getting to the register, esp for Macy's and JCPenney.I'm adding reviews for specific massage chairs in case people are interested. The one at the end of the mall facing the ulta beauty store c0547, I paid for the 19 minute massage 5$. Maybe I should have noticed that of all the chairs, the back might have been broken by the way it reclines more than others. It attracted me bc of the rainbow lights on the sides of it, whereas most other chairs don't do that. I should have brought my charging cable, and it supposedly supports two devices while massaging you. The legs work fine. Back isn't moving at all. The other problem is that the interface is too dark to read. I get the feeling that the buttons have been mashed.

The Taste Kitchen
3970 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City, CA 90230, United States
I have been craving some authentic Asian cuisine which I have had great ones in the bay area. I was extremely disappointed when all the food we ordered was mediocre. It was a nightmare because my family and I were starving. I am not sure how they got those reviews because everything we ordered was horrible. Which Chinese restaurant messes up house fried rice, black pepper beef, chow mein, chow fun noodles. The name should be Tasteless. I had them take mine back but the rest of my family were too hungry to let go. Horrible!! Please hire new cooks.

The Wallace (TEMPORARILY CLOSED)
3833 Main St, Culver City, CA 90232, United States
This is a nice addition to the selection of restaurants in downtown Culver City. The menu is split into 4 sections (appetizers, salads, sea and land), and everything is served tapas-style, in small plates meant for sharing. The waitress suggests that each person order 2 or 3 dishes, which was perfect for my group of 4.Theres also a nice drink menu, with a great selection of beers. The Peanut Butter Milk Stout on tap is pretty amazing. Ive never had anything like it. Its a dark beer with a taste somewhere between peanut an root beer. The Ricotta Dumplings are incredible! Rich and delicious. The Lollipop Kale Salad was probably my favorite dish of the meal. Fresh & crunchy, with a nice spicy kick. The Albacore Tartare was really good too, I just wish they served it with more of the crispy-cracker thing, because it pares really well with the tuna, but theres just not enough. The Roasted Scallops were great, served with sweet potato and the pomegranate seeds give a surprising crunch along with the tartness. The Alaskan Halibut was good, I liked the eggplant puree, however it really did need the sauce because it was a bit dry.The Fried Marys Chicken as very crunchy, and was great when dipped in the hot sauce. Its served with Chow Chow, which is like a pickled cabbage. The tartness pared well with the crispy & spicy chicken. The Parker House Roll seemed like an after-thought. Im even sure why it was there. The Squid Ink Capellini was not as good as I hope it would be. The flavor was a little fishy. It wasnt bad, just not as great as some of the other dishes. For dessert we shared the Southern Pecan Pie, which is served with Sweet Potato Ice Cream. OMG, it is A-MAY-ZING!! We also tried the Everything Nice, which is a Snicker Doodle cookie curly-cue served with Dulce De Leche and Horchata Ice. This was really good too!!The service was great, very attentive. Was is served in tall, serve-yourself bottles which were replaced as soon as they were empty. (The only weird thing is that they put a $1 charge on your check for water service.) Our food came out quickly, and our plates were cleared quickly as well. The room has pretty horrible acoustics, so it got really loud when the place was busy. Also, the chairs are pretty uncomfortable. For anyone that misses Paiche in Marina Del Rey, this is a great replacement. Not as expensive, but not quite the same level of explosive flavors either. But I will certainly be back to try the rest of the menu!Theres a great parking structure 1 block over from the restaurant, first 2 hours free and only $1/hr after that. The only downside is theres usually a slow line to get out.

This restaurant had many varieties of chinese and Japanese noodles. My son is a vegan and there were many choices he could eat. I ordered a bowl with sliced meat, vegetables and a great sauce. Our food came pretty quickly and was hot and delicious. My son ordered saki.He liked the way it was served and tastedThe waiter was helpful and efficient. The portions were very generous.
