Stood at the front counter for 5 minutes before being greeted. Still will not hand out sample because of COVID. Had to wait another 10 minutes for chowmain while they handed the rest to the drive thru line. So ridiculous ill be going to another restaurant for Chinese food in the future.

I have always had good experiences at mall style Chinese restaurants, but this was possibly the worst Chinese I have ever eaten. The chow mein was edible at first but really did not taste good. The orange chicken was almost entirely fried shells with an occasional tiny bit of dry chicken. I dont know why the reviews were so high. Huge disappointment.

***Update***I just dined in tonight and they made fresh spring rolls for us. Soooo yummy! I really do love this place and now I actually make a point to try to get here before they close whenever Im in the mood for something to indulge myself. They close at 8:30 so I recommend getting there between 6:30 and 7:00 to get everything nice and fresh and have all the selections I also recommend calling ahead and ordering one of their delicious soups such as hot and sour. I think one of the best things about this place is the staff because in all the times that Ive gone there Ive always had really good customer service and the young man that is there Im not sure if hes a manager of the owner however he is extremely friendly as is everybody else which makes it worth the effort to get there and also makes you want to spend your money somewhere where the staff treats you nice customer service is very important ???I really love this place Ive never had a bad experience. I dont go there all the time just because I try to avoid food thats fried and most of it is fried however its very tasty. You get a large amount for the price so its a good value. I really like the fact that theyre sweet and sour is never soggy. They have two kinds of orange chicken which is really nice for those of you that like the spicy they offer that and then they have the original, which is not too spicy. The ladies that work there have been friendly every single time that I visited this restaurant over the last 4 years.

Im sorry but I just cant do this place anymore. It used to be good and one of my favorite places to get take out for my family. But like so many other places the portions and the quality have just really gone down the hill. I dont know what theyve done with their rice but it is like eating dry paint Thats peeled off a wall its just horrible even the steam rice isnt nowhere near what it used to be. It just seems like everything has sort of the same flavor which is not much and unless you get something super spicy you really cant describe what youre eating if youre not looking at it. They have this absolutely Bland packaged teriyaki sauce that is just truly horrible. The sweet and sour sauce is right behind it with literally no flavor. They used to have really great chicken egg rolls and those have just changed as well I dont know whats inside of them but its like chewed up dog food rolled in a egg roll wrapper. The only thing I still like are the little spring rolls those are still pretty good but as far as everything else it is outrageous to eat there and if you dont eat it the second you get it when its piping hot forget it it absolutely doesnt reheat because everything is already overcooked dry nasty and just covered in sauce that nobody wants anyways... I have gone back three times in the last 6 months just to check and see and make sure it wasnt just a random bad experience but unfortunately no its a consistent bad experience. I feel sorry for the people who work there. The drive-thru and people always seem like they wish they werent there. I dont know how theyre in business honestly. There are some great places for Alternatives such as Ono Hawaiian BBQ.

This is my first time at this location. I have eaten it one other Golden chopsticks and I had a terrible experience so I have driven by this one for 2 years and not stopped. I went tonight because I was craving pork fried rice and I knew they had it on the menu. It was $12. I ordered a chicken egg roll which brought my total over $14 for rice and one egg roll no beverage. I was surprised by how fast I got my order because typically it takes 5 to 8 minutes whenever I ordered pork fried rice at any other drive-thru Chinese place. I got home to find very overcooked dark brown greasy rice with hard clearly burnt and burnt tasting tough barbecue pork. I live about 15 minutes away from this location otherwise I would have turned around and driven back and got something else or my money back because truly this was the most disappointing sad thing I have purchased in a long time. Ive been trying for about 20 minutes to eat it and I just cant its making my stomach hurt I dont even know if I can give it to my dogs. I tried to eat the egg roll and it tasted like fish so Im guessing they use the same oil to fry everything in that is deep fried. I understand times are tough and prices for everything is expensive but if youre going to raise prices and charge a fortune for things you should not skip on the quality of the food and definitely not slack off on how you prepare it. The only reason I even gave two stars is because the lady that took my order was very nice and she took time to explain what was in the rice and made sure that they did not put peas and carrots in it so the two stars are for her. Whoever cooked it needs to get negative Stars.

This place is alright. Their food is mediocre, nothing special, it is not as good compared to the Asian restaurants in L.A. I come here sometimes because they have the best thai tea boba in my opinion in the Victor Valley area. The place is clean and spacious, no wi-fi.Bathroom is clean, free water at front and you will be served by a pudgy Chinese dude (im assuming the owner), and his gang of White hipster kids.
Little Aviator Cafe
Apple Valley Airport, 21600 Corwin Rd #13, Apple Valley, CA 92307, United States
Terrible service from the moment we walked in. We asked for a table and the woman helping us threw menus in our hand and said pick. We went to a quiet spot in the back of the restaurant, and then was reprimanded by the server stating she would have to reopen the section since we chose a table 5 feet farther than the rest. She turned on the light and said now its open. We ordered and the food came out in 4 minutes. It was just terrible. When we told the waitress that the food wasnt good, she shook her head and grabbed all our plates. That was it. We sat in confusion as to what to do next. We got up and asked the cashier to break a $20.00 so that we could leave a tip. She did this but said nothing to me except if you thought it was bad you could have told us and we would have made you something different. Well she did not give us that chance and the vibe was so bad we left. We headed directly to the Outpost Cafe off 395, who has professional, experienced staff & management and far superior food. We will never be back to the Aviator. Wish the Mile High would just come back!
Sudsys Coin Wash
17864 CA-18, Apple Valley, CA 92307, United States
Nice laundromat with multiple sized machines. Not terrible prices. I recommend bringing plenty of quarters, although they do have a change machine. Snack and drink vending machine if you get peckish. Good music playing. Interesting laundry related antiques on the walls. Polite customers. Restaurants in shopping center, Japanese sushi salad place, Italian, tacos inside the gas station convenience store. Not hugely busy on Sunday when I went. Not a lot nearby for keeping children busy, so bring your own entertainment, WiFi nearby.Overall, pretty darn good laundry experience, even though the bigger machines are more expensive and the lint traps could do with a cleaning as they didnt dry terribly well on denser materials, but more effective at drying than most Ive been to. Some of the machines give you options for a second wash for heavily soiled clothing (in case your kid is as messy of an eater as mine) and a second rinse cycle for just a bit more.I definitely recommend going here. They also have a water machine in case you need to fill your big water bottles while youre there.
Pho Belwood
21520 Bear Valley Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92308, United States
Was craving pho while I was in the area, so I stopped by for a late lunch. I wasnt expecting too much for pho in Apple Valley, but considering the high reviews for an unclaimed restaurant, I thought the food would be decent. There are two Pho Belwood locations - one in Victorville and one in Apple Valley. They specialize mainly in pho, but also sell specialized dishes and drinks. The place was pretty empty when we arrived, but it quickly got busy - even around 2-3PM which was surprising.Storefront is pretty big with a lot of tables and booths. The workers dont bother you much after you order, which is nice if you want to sit and chat or bring something to study - especially when business is a bit slower. There are a ton of powder/syrups lining the counter, so you know the drinks here are not authentic and artificial.I decide to order #15 - which pretty much has a little of everything (flank, brisket, tendon, tripe, beef balls, rare steak). Medium is priced at $8.99, which isnt too bad at all (large is $2 more). Pho came with a ton of onions on top along with a plate of bean sprouts, lemon, mint leaves, and jalapenos. The broth was actually really good - I was surprised by how much flavor it had while not having too much oil or tasting of MSG. They gave a good amount of meat in the bowl as well - felt like I was able to keep eating meat until I finished the noodles. For $8.99, that was definitely a good bowl of pho - especially in the High Desert. My friend decided to be spontaneous and order something that wasnt pho. I had a feeling the dish wouldnt be good - youre eating at a pho restaurant in an area that doesnt specialize in pho. And you decide to go off the menu ... what can you expect? He ordered the special pot fried rice (#26) for $11.99, expecting it to taste similar to the fried rice dishes we normally get at Thai places. Yea, no. This was probably the worst rice dish Ive ever eaten - and Ive eaten at a ton of Chinese restaurants. Not sure what rice was used or how they cooked it, but it lacked flavor and tasted dry. The toppings were random seafood and Chinese ingredients piled together and maybe stir-fried with the same sauce? Either way, it tasted really unappetizing. He barely finished the toppings and we actually just left the rice. It was that bad. After you finish, you pay at the counter. Its cash only unless you dont mind a credit card service fee. The workers were nice, but super slow with the credit card machine.tl;dr - Pho here was really good. But the rice dish was really bad. Have to give this place 3 stars despite us both enjoying the pho. I wouldnt mind returning, but wed only order from the pho options.
Jess Ranch Marketplace
18805–18901, Bear Valley Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92308, United States
Great shopping area! Something for everyone! If you need something, chances are that you can find it within this four block area. Jess Ranch marketplace is adjacent to a couple other large shopping centers that straddle Bear Valley Road and stretch for a few blocks. Everything from Target to Stater Bros, to Home Depot and Lowes. 99 cents store, and Dickies Bbq. Lots of other things including restaurants and a movie theater. Way to much to list here, but you get the idea. The parking lot is usually pretty clean, and there are plenty of spaces. If you need something, and you are in Apple Valley, this is a great place to look.
