No dine in, but this family owned and operated restaurant is nice. They greet you and are pleasant. The only place I go for chinese in Crescent City.
Baimu Garden

This may be the most authentic Chinese food you can find between Eureka, CA and Portland, OR. I ordered the beef tendon combination multiple times as I was in the area. The beef tendon is perfectly cooked, with tender slices of beef marinated in soy sauce, ginger, and five spice powder, complemented by fresh broccoli and perfectly cooked chow mein or fried rice. The unique, red-bean filled fried wontons were a great dessert to end the meal. If you’re looking for more authentic Chinese cuisine in Northern California, this is the place to go! I ordered takeout, and the takeout container is a reusable Japanese-style plastic bento box, which is a great alternative to styrofoam. For those that dine in, there is ample booth seating and even a pool table and karaoke stage for entertainment. The family that recently opened the restaurant is very friendly and hospitable. This is the best restaurant I’ve tried in Crescent City — highly recommended!

Came here for the first time and love it, drove from Brookings and the family was so nice that they separated all the food so it would stay as fresh as possible. They put all the sauce on the side for me to add later. We ordered one of everything on the menu so we can try everything they had for the day! I was not disappointed, the food was still warm after a 45min drive due to traffic. The cheese puffs are so delicious, loved the beef and broccoli. Had the orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and the spicy chicken as well as the prawns. Thank you so much for accommodating us since we came right when they were closing for lunch. We truly appreciate your hospitality and understanding. Will definitely be back again for another round of this delicious meal.

The only Asian supermarket in town, so glad that they have at least one with a variety of your favorite Asian items thatll remind you of home. anytime i feel homesick for some good food Ill come to this store to get ingredients. fresh veggies varies on who provides for them so try to get them when they arrive so theyll stay fresher. so glad that they have the veggies that Im looking for because you cant find those in any other supermarkets. items are affordable and can rack up but worth it. owners are very nice and friendly downside is that theres very limited and narrow parking so drive carefully when you arrive
Kin Khao Thai Eatery
1270 Front St ste c, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
We stopped here on the road to/from the Redwoods, and WOW. So yummy! Way better than expected for such a small town. The Gang Panang curry was incredible - the generous amount of Thai basil in it was perfection! The Pad Thai was tasty as well, and so were the Yakisoba noodles. Sweet and Sour chicken was alright - but, this isn’t a Chinese restaurant, so we weren’t expecting anything amazing there (just ordered in case the kids were picky). Mango sticky rice was also delish! They had crispy mung beans on top, which was a delicious addition. Presentation was excellent, service was too (never once had to ask for water, a box, the check, etc.).
Sea West
6655 Lake Earl Dr, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
Went in to order takeout and ended up waitimw 55 minutes for two orders of chicken wings and a cold salad. The restaurant wasnt even half full and they served two other tables of people dining in who were seated after us (and one of them had the chicken wings). They didnt offer us water while we waited. They didnt apologize for making us wait so long. And they made us pay up frontf otherwise we wouldve left once we realized they were putting others ahead of us. Will never go back to this horrible restaurant with rude service. If you are getting takeout and not dining in you are put behind the customers dining in here. And the food ended up subpar once we finally got to eat.
Grocery Outlet
1124 3rd St, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
Honestly the walmart has better prices on some of this stuff, which is unusual. Walmart has half gallon non-dairy milks for as little as $2.57, others I saw went up to $2.97 - is it worth the gas to drive over to that dump? Probably not. The grocery outlet does have great sales and overall great prices though. When the non-dairy milks are are about to expire or have expired, the price cant be beat. Frozen fruit prices arent bad but the selection last time I was there was pitiful. Actually they seemed to be out of nearly everything on my grocery list, major let down since gas is outrageous. Travel 25 minutes north and gas is 64 cents cheaper. $3.85 vs $3.21 . Their NOSH section leaves much to be desired.. Maybe there are a few wealthy people living in the area but most people arent going to buy a lot of that stuff, tiny bags of dried mulberries and other goofy fad super foods. Keep it simple and give us hemp, Chia, and quinoa at a reasonable price. Other whole grains like brown rice. Non-dairy milks, healthier cereals, moms it eh- we dont want to consume canola oil and we definitely dont want to give it to children. Organic nuts would be cool too. You have enormous sections of meat and cheese, which may be where you make the most money, but get with the health science and protect your customers- that stuff causes cancer! The WHO says processed meat causes cancer, no doubt about it. Regular meat is probably carcinogenic. Idk about you but I dont want to eat probable carcinogens. Dairy is linked to a whole bunch of health issues including joint inflammation, allergies, obesity, breast and prostate cancers. The slow suffering suicide fad wont be profitable forever.
Ocean View Inn
270 US-101, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
We thought to stop here for a few days and ended up staying for 10 nights. The staff were accommodating by putting us on the top floor in the back away from all elevators and noise. Our room was clean, large, quiet and had a beautiful view of the harbor through a large window that we could open for fresh air. I would take away half a star for slow wifi and no hot food for breakfast, but these were minor issues for us. Right across the street is an awesome Mexican restaurant and just up the road is a Chinese restaurant. Crescent City has everything you could want in a small area...beach, bluffs, rocky shores, redwoods, history and friendly people. Make sure you stop at the visitors center when you get to town.
