Panda Express

So, normally im a pretty good fan of Panda Express due to Price and Convenience..When I went on Sunday, I knew what I wanted before drive-thru but got flustered when she ask me to try the Shrimp promo ans I said sure why not!!..So in placin the order, she repeated the order backwards and then cut me off in doin so. I wasnt trippin cause it dors happen from time to time, but then after taking my order, She was talking trash about me with her mic on, so I heard every work she said. When i went to the window, now all of a sudden no one with authority was available and the one that took my order just happenned to be too busy to come to window..She was put in place by second party employee telling her from me..Next time\ you talk trash about a loyal customer, make sure your microphone is completely off, as people and companies get sued for lesser actions, if not worse. You never know who people are over the microphone, so treat ALL the same with some respect and patience. She lucky She wasnt a He, or I woukd havr gotten out if my car and told them myself..FACE TO FACE what I thought of her Poor and Disrespectful Customer Service..Thank You Fanny for covering for your Idiotic Co-Worker and I will make sure I post on website as instructed!!.✌??and I nvr complained or commented about her not speaking clearly and talking fast with her accent to understand what she was saying in the first place!!.?

It is a small restaurant with a variety of Chinese food. It has good desserts. However, I did not like its cleanliness, its tables were very unhygienic.

Absolutely outstanding food, very kind and carrying employees and spotlessly clean. All of the food is freshly home made and cooked by co-owner, Norma; everything from the homemade tortillas, chili verde, refried beans with corn, salsa verde and all on the menu; everything except the french fries.Stopped in after birding at Merced National Wildlife Preserve. We were met with smiles and recommendations by the daughter. The chef and co-owner Norma, came out of the kitchen to ask if the food was good. We said it was OUTSTANDING.The flavors of the jalapeno and cheese tamale had just enough spice stuffed in a super delicate masa.Highly recommend!!!

Wool Growers Restaurant

Lamb chops, beef chops, or chicken chops? Thats the all-American word of the day.I had been to canteen-style diners. (Heck, you can even say I grew up in canteens.) You just go to a window to order and bring food to a seat that you can grab. So from the moment I was seated - by an actual server, I began to wonder how this canteen worked. Do they even take order? There was no menu on the table (except a faux-leather covered wine menu), nor did the server casually drop one there. There were already two fairly large groups. They did not look like they had self served. So I decided to wait instead of ask. After five or seven minutes, a waitress came to pop the question: Which chops? The choices are so simple, no menu needed!Soon after ordering, weve got a water jar, bread and butter, and, ahem, a bottle of table wine. To be honest, this is the first time Ive seen an open bottle of table wine in a restaurant. Even though I dont drink, I am very curious what table wine tastes like. So I took a sip. It certainly wasnt your pinot noire or sauvignon. Although Im sure that its alcohol content is within common red wine range, it does have this tinge that reminds me of the Chinese 烧酒. (Shaojiu or shochu, literally means burning wine. Often associated with unrefined drinkers, it is known for its 60% alcohol content.)Next quickly came a large bowl of iceberg lettuce drenched in some kind of ranch dressing but much lighter with a heavy accent of vinegar. After bread, butter, and salad - all off-the-shelf stuff, I was expecting the entrées. But then came a large bowl of vegetable soup and a large bowl of baked beans. My daughter began to muse: So this is going to be courses. The soup was very poorly made, but the beans were delicious. We didnt finish it only because we needed space for meat.Ah meat. My daughter ordered lamb chops and I pork. Lamb came in three big chops, and pork came in two even bigger. To top the entrée off, this was accompanied by a plateful of chicken rice as the waitress called it. It was stir-fried with at least 50% chicken meat! As if this is enough, the waitress came back with a plateful of French fries.Unfortunately, neither the rice nor my pork chops tasted any good. I didnt taste my daughters lamb but she said it was good. Good or bad, the two of us finished only half of the main course.Just as I was thinking are they going to serve dessert now that this proved to be a three-course meal, the waitress brought two small packaged ice-creams.The tally? $15 per person. With this much food thrown into the meal, I can see why this remains a popular place for over a hundred years despite uninspired cooking.Maybe their unique name helped, too. We were in a nearby gas station and called up Siri for lunch. My daughter chose this one because (Wool Growers) sounds interesting! even after I reminded her that the cuisine is marked as American. In other words: no cuisine. This would be my second time eating this country-style multi-course meal. The first time was 30 years ago during my first visit to the U.S. That was a banquet offered by an IEEE society at its annual symposium held in Historic Williamsburg, VA that year. So even though the style was the same, cooking was very refined. In short, off-the shelf bread, butter, table wine, and ice cream; terrible soup and pork chop; very bad stir-fried chicken rice; uninspired iceberg lettuce; excellent baked beans. (And dont forget French fries - it would take some talent to screw up this one.) Loads of meat, little cuisine.Go for the dining experience if you havent tried. Or go for the meat on the buck. (They do not have the typical styrofoam or paper containers to pack leftovers. When asked, the waitress produced a transparent plastic bag.) Im not a drinker, so I cant comment on wine selection or taste. My educated guess is that all are off-the-shelf.

Los Banos Donut Shop
609 W Pacheco Blvd, Los Banos, CA 93635, United States
This place definitely deserves a 4 out of 5 with a little more variety that definitely be a five and five in my book. Whether its the gentleman or they nice older lady always treat you with courtesy and respect prices a little bit high but the quality of the donuts is really good compared to the other I dont shop there and I Los Banos and they put their creams in a more delays and them if you request it Dad is a pretty decent price I think it does make a donut cost more but you pay for what you get and their hours her always good and every now and then they throw you a couple extra donut Rose and thats always nice especially when you got kids Ill continue to go there I go there probably twice a week only because I dont want to get back to my old weight situation and donuts are good but donuts are fattening and I yeah its pretty much a working crowd that shows up there no solicitors are panhandlers right there on the property never had nothing stolen on my vehicle. Ill definitely continue to go there as long as its the same ownership and they actually switch their grease as they should the other donut store has cimorelli ranked grease bad crazy tasting donuts I bought them a few different times....

Teriyaki House

Teriyaki House! Being away from the wide array of bay area eateries Im used to, Teriyaki House in Los Banos makes me feel right at home. They serve traditional Chinese food, Sushi, fusion dishes, and Singapore style food. Since opening, I believe the restaurant has had 3 owners, and Ive had the pleasure of knowing all three of them. The food is great, and I believe theyve just added pho, udon, and some other noodle soup choices. I am a big fan of jalapeno beef, and the shrimp & pineapple fried rice. The staff is always courteous, and friendly. I appreciate them very much. Also, the Singapore friend rice is one of my absolute favorites. I order it medium spicy.. If you dont consume pork, ask them to substitute it with extra chicken.

Noodles Pho U
435 W Pacheco Blvd, Los Banos, CA 93635, United States
So excited to have this place open in Los Banos! We went here for lunch during their soft opening and the food was DELICIOUS. They currently have appetizers, wings, pho, and rice bowls, but I believe a larger menu is coming soon (with extended hours) with the grand opening. We parked easily, were served super quickly, and our food came out in just a few minutes. I had the spicy wings which were very flavorful (and not too spicy). The highlight of the meal though was the beef rice bowl. It came out steaming in a hot stone bowl full of fresh vegetables, steamed rice, and tender, thinly-sliced beef with an egg on top. The rice got a little crisp to it while sitting in the bowl which was perfect. The flavor was so fresh and super delicious.I cant wait to go back and get it again!
