This was my first time to this restaurant. This is the only Chinese restaurant in town to offer Chinese Chicken Salad. They had explained that they add corn, with broccoli and carrots. It seemed a little weird, but I went with it. In addition, I ordered Hot & Sour soup. When I sat down to eat it, low and behold there is some coursely chopped lettuce, carrots, broccoli, corn & chicken with sauce. No almonds or peanuts, no ramen, no cabbage or anything else that youll find in a typical Chinese Chicken Salad. The Hot & Sour soup was fresh and spicy, but it wasnt sour the least bit and I couldnt find any bamboo shoots or onions.When I called the restaurant to offer my feedback, the daughter answered. She heard my feedback and then proceeded to tell me that every restaurant has their own way of preparing meals and that this is their way of doing it. She came across as arrogant and condescending. However, when you change the entire concept of a dish, you should notify your customers that it is not traditional, especially a new customer who patrons for a specific dish. She wouldnt acknowledge my concerns in anyway. I hung up dissatisfied and am now leaving this feedback.

STAY AWAY.I was there a few days ago with my aunt and ordered two combos. The lady seemed kind of annoyed with us even though we had asked for some time to look at the menu since it was my first time there. So I was already getting weird vibes. We ordered, got our meals and I asked if she had any Sriracha. She replied “No” I asked if she had any hot sauce. She gave me a little container of the oil hot sauce with peppers in it. I was okay with that but I asked for one more. One for myself and one for my aunt. We each got a meal to which the lady simply replied with “No” I explained we got two combos and felt we should be able to get two hot sauces, she again just replied with “No”. There wasn't any other offer on her behalf to sell me one or any type of explanation. I told her that was almost 25 dollars worth of food and couldn't understand why she was being so stingy with some hot sauce. She kept telling me just no. My aunt convinced me to let it go and leave, but the more I thought about it, the more it upset me. The lack of customer service and the fact that we paid so much for some disgusting overcooked spaghetti to be denied a tiny container of hot sauce was upsetting. I went back inside and told her I needed one more hot sauce and I wasn't leaving until I got one she didn't even offer to sell me another one until I told her. She then yelled “25 cent” at me. I tossed her the quarter and took the hot sauce. NEVER GOING BACK. GO TO ANY OTHER PLACE. I genuinely felt she was discriminating and probably thought I wasn't going to say anything about it. She treated us like we were annoying her. Overpriced food served with sh*ty customer service. Do not recommend.

Egg Roll King really is the king! The food was great, the service is great, the atmosphere of this place was nice and clean, and the price was right! For three combos it was 33 bucks. Whenever I walk into it, the aroma of Chinese food fills in, the first day I came here, i knew it was our go to Chinese restaurant. I will be coming back here, for years to come.

It was great to learn more about Red Bluff’s Chinese American history and it is worth a slow wander through. Bonus it’s situated Downtown near boutique shops and restaurants. Also recommend checking out the nearby murals painted by local artists.
